The little fox fell silent, then cleared her throat and agreed. If Agares said so, then she had to trust him.

Aoi appeared to float in the air, the blue patterns on her body glowing, a sign that her power had been activated. Agares brought up his sword from his inventory.

Milenia turned and was shocked to see Aoi lying weakly in Agares’s hands. The woman rushed to him.

"What happened?" Milenia asked.

"We were training, but I think I overdid it with her."

"Can you help me restore her condition?" asked Agares.
