Chapter 151: Real Form

"Alright, let’s move on to the next phase. First, I’ll explain about rooms where time affects them."

I look at my master attentively. I’ve always had this doubt about why I couldn’t use a room where time passes much faster, so I could already have all my power.

"The magic of time had several additional limitations added to it by the Primordial Goddess herself to prevent an obvious imbalance from occurring, so magics that drastically affect time are extremely difficult to work correctly."

"For example, going back in time. Besides consuming an extremely high amount of mana, you risk being killed while still on the path that leads to the past."

"This is because there is a kind of guardian that prevents both going to the past and trying to go to the future. Anyone who tries this will encounter the guardian. If you can convince him that your presence won’t alter anything, he may allow your passage."

"However, this only occurs for long periods. For example, going back 1 month into the past is possible, and traveling up to 2 months into the future won’t cause any problems for you."

"Just as seeing the future regardless of how much time is allowed, and seeing the past is also allowed."

"Naturally, these restrictions were imposed on rooms where time passes differently, and the best example of this is the time acceleration. The faster time passes in a room, the less your growth capacity within it."

"Because your growth capacity within the room will be adjusted to be equivalent to the time of the normal world, but your age won’t, so you can end up dying of old age while not gaining any growth in your power."

Simply put, the master has just said that my age will remain the same, but my body will age.

I don’t age, so that’s not a problem for me, but not getting stronger is really terrible.

"Wait, and personal experience?" I ask with doubt.

"That’s the point. Personal experience is kept intact without limitations. In other words, if you want to learn martial arts or learn some fencing technique, there’s no problem doing it in a room where time passes faster."

I nod contemplatively. I know well why the explanation is he’s going to throw me into a room where time passes faster so I can train the self-control of my real form.

Although it’s a bit bad that my power won’t increase and I won’t go from being a child to being a teenager.

I guess I’ll have to be content being a child and that it may take a while for me to be a teenager.

"I understand what I have to do, but where will I train, Master?" It’s not that complicated to understand that I will be placed in this special room and that I must try to transform and maintain self-control.

"..." My master snaps his fingers, and soon the ground opens up while I fall into a dark and gigantic place. I can no longer see the ceiling after having fallen for at least 2 minutes.

I also can’t see the horizon, as this place is very dark, and I ended up falling into a liquid.

"What is this...blood?" I didn’t know what this liquid was that I fell into, but the smell is unmistakably blood from various things. Besides that, some of my passive skills activated due to the blood.

Soon the master appears flying a little above.

"In this room, time passes much faster than in the normal world. You will be locked in here until you can develop self-control."

"Whenever you transform and lose control after a time of 1 week, a magic will activate and force you to be too exhausted while causing you pain until you return to your normal form and try again."

"Good luck, rebellious student." As he says this, my master disappears, leaving me in the middle of this place full of blood. The liquid reaches up to near my knee, so there is a lot of blood, and the room seems to have no end just looking ahead.

’I think I should start...’ After experiencing those things, I deepened my knowledge about the monsters, and although it was horrible to have tasted a piece of my mother’s body, it doesn’t change the fact that it gave me a huge understanding of the monsters.

Probably because my mother is quite special, being the Goddess of the Abyss and the one most connected to the monsters. I’m glad I avoided trying to digest that thing and threw it all out.

I don’t know what would happen to me if I had really digested that.

Visualizing my mana path, I quickly access it while seeking to further break the current container.

Not an incomplete form, but rather seeking to completely transform into my monster form.

...

...

...

"It seems my rebellious student will have difficulties." I murmur as I watch Pandora transform into her complete monster form. Obviously, she lost control.

Her monster form is a bit different from what I expected, but it is still magnificent. I can even call it absolute perfection.

Not because it is beautiful, but because its form is the pinnacle for the use of magic and combat.

I also decided to stay here and watch the progress of my student, and I must say it is interesting.

Her true form is composed of that black sludge, but it extends over a gigantic area, while thousands of eyes and mouths remain hidden along with thousands of arms that can be formed instantly.

This body is perfect for the use of magic because it can intone thousands of spells at once while having a visual understanding of mana at levels that other beings cannot reach.

It has no cores or organs, so it has no weaknesses. Its entire body is truly magnificent.

It is also quite malleable and can shrink or expand, while even without consciousness it shows an interesting ability to set traps. I say this because a "humanoid" version was formed in the center of the body.

It has the same appearance as Pandora’s incomplete version, but serves as bait, because it causes whoever attacks to think that this is her body, since that point emanates a lot of mana at once.

Given that the entire floor is currently her body, you can attack anywhere without really needing to focus on that specific point.

Trying to focus there will only exhaust you unnecessarily.

The extra arms, along with the extra mouths and eyes, also hide perfectly in the sheer darkness that is her body.

And that black liquid has also shown to have excellent hiding ability under the ground, completely concealing the mana and making it seem like only that point where the "humanoid" version is and where the body really is.

Her form is slightly different from Azraelith, although essentially they are similar.

"It will take a while for her to gain self-control..." The stronger the monster, the harder it is to obtain real self-control. That’s precisely why the current Demon Saint doesn’t have self-control, because she is strong.

...

I watch as she moves frantically for a week. Since there’s nothing in this place, my rebellious student doesn’t know what to do, so her monster form just walks around looking for things.

I use magic on her, forcing her to take continuous damage for many days until she changes to the humanoid form on her own.

Of course, damaging a monster in its real form doesn’t make it switch forms, and exhausting them doesn’t either, but it can still force them to try to change to a humanoid form on their own.

Soon my rebellious disciple drinks the blood that bathes her body and tries to transform again, successfully transforming into her real form.

However, still without control, so I repeat this cycle of hurting her and then waiting. We remain in this for so long that everything around us seems somewhat monotonous.

For my rebellious student, it may have been a maximum of a few hours, since her consciousness is cut off when she assumes her monster form. But for me, it’s been years.

And in the real world, only seconds have passed. This cycle will continue until she is able to control herself, which could take many years, maybe even millennia.

But how long it takes doesn’t matter. I promised to help her with this, so even if I have to stay here just watching her attempts and failures for years, I won’t give up.

And so time passes. With each frustrated attempt by my student, everything starts again. She is persistent, and that is good.

And after so much time, she finally begins to show signs of minimal self-control. With that, her next attempts progressed slowly to the point where her monster form began to murmur and say things, although they are things without much meaning.

And with that, the next few years were a little more exciting, with her showing great improvements that really showed how talented she is.

And finally, she managed to show self-control worthy of notes. It’s not perfect, but it’s more than enough for her to use in a fight and even think rationally and make complex plans while avoiding harming allies.

I descend from where I am and go to her, who has returned to the humanoid form on her own to rest.

"I think you’re ready to move on to other training." I tell my student, who looks at me. She didn’t know I was always watching everything.

"But I still don’t have full control," She says to me.

"I know, but you won’t be able to obtain that control by training here. Besides, you already have enough control to think during a fight," She can control herself well enough not to have any disadvantages.

"... Okay, how long have we been here? To me it felt like about 4 months," She knows she was unconscious for a long time.

"... We’ve been in this place for 105 years, but since time doesn’t work properly here, your age is still the same," She stops and checks her status, making a genuinely surprised face.

"Oh, that’s right, I’m still 0 years old," She says with genuine surprise in her voice.

"Let’s get out of here. In the real world, 2 hours and 13 minutes have passed," I use magic to take us both out of this place. For her, it may have seemed like a short time, but for me, those were 105 long years that I spent just watching her.

It’s not the best entertainment I could have had, but it was still interesting.
