Anastasia was stunned to hear Edward say those words, she had forgotten about him the moment they bumped into each other at the royal celebration, when he saved her at Lowe pass, she only felt that the person seemed to care for her a lot , later when she found out he was the one who saved her she was a bit surprised. Anastasia did not expect the sudden action, she was caught of guard but she did not push him away, she felt warmth and comfort that she could not explain from his hug. So she raised her hand and hugged him.

At the same moment, Grater become anxious seeing that the two of them had been inside the room for so long, she was worried that with her lady’s reputation already ruined it was really not appropriate for her to entertain a male guest for so long.
