The Destiny Villainess Wants Me To Work!-Chapter 83: Innocent Su Mo Is Envious!
She dragged the chair toward the side door leading to the adjacent room.
"Just wait a little while. I’ll get all the information out of him."
Her voice sounded almost excited.
For Leng Shuang, this interrogation wasn’t only about following Su Mo’s orders.
It was also personal.
Although she had chosen to serve Su Mo in this life, that didn’t mean she had abandoned her desire for revenge.
Wang Cai and the people connected with him, who scammed her. There’s no way she would let them go.
Call her petty or a miser, she doesn’t care. That’s who she is!
Wen Hang was clearly part of that same network, so all the unsatisfaction she had with Wang Cai’s sudden death, she would vent it on him.
As for whether Su Mo was connected to Wang Cai, as she previously suspected? Leng Shuang had completely buried that stupid thought.
With Su Mo’s strength, those kinds of people weren’t even qualified to stand in the same room as him, let alone become his partners.
---
For the next few hours, the CEO’s office remained quiet.
Occasionally, faint noises drifted through the wall from the adjacent room, but the soundproofing did its job well enough that the details were impossible to hear.
Su Mo wondered what Wen Hang normally does in the soundproof bedroom attached to his office.
’Playing chess? Napping? Maybe personal bonding with his employees.’
’The receptionist earlier had faint traces of Wen Hang’s aura on her. Could it be she’s his... relative?’
His innocent mind made it difficult for Su Mo to reach the correct answer.
However, his expression did show slight envy.
After all, he had no relatives in this world.
But Su Mo didn’t think about it for long. He consoled himself, thinking. ’Anyway, this company is going to be mine from now on. I’ll also bond with employees soon enough.’
’I just hope there are many pretty employees here.’
’My lonely heart’s demands are very high.’
Soon, he put aside his thoughts and focused his attention on work.
Lin Yaorui sat at Wen Hang’s desk, carefully going through the files stored on the company computer.
Ankang Biotech had grown to a valuation of over 120 million yuan on paper, and its operations were far more complicated than she initially expected.
Meanwhile, Su Mo stood beside her, reviewing the financial records displayed on the monitor.
The more he read, the deeper his frown became.
"What’s with this data?"
He pointed at several lines on the screen.
"Why does it feel like half of it is made up?"
Lin Yaorui heard his murmur and glanced at the document.
After a moment, she nodded.
"Mr Su, you’re not wrong."
"This data isn’t entirely fake—but it isn’t entirely real either."
Su Mo turned toward her.
"You found something?"
Lin Yaorui nodded and began explaining while navigating through the folders.
"The financial data related to the company’s public products is mostly accurate. Sales of supplements, chemical materials, and other legitimate goods are recorded here."
She paused briefly before opening another folder hidden deeper in the computer.
"But the rest of it..."
She clicked open a new financial statement and said while shaking her head.
"This one tells a very different story."
The spreadsheet that appeared on the screen contained far more detailed transaction records.
Su Mo leaned slightly closer.
"The previous file was meant for public review," he said slowly. "And this one... is the real account?"
"Yes." Lin Yaorui nodded. "This is the internal ledger."
Su Mo studied the data carefully.
Rows of international transactions filled the screen.
Several foreign companies appeared repeatedly in the payment records.
"The income from these overseas accounts is enormous," he said thoughtfully.
His eyes narrowed slightly. "What exactly are they selling to these foreign companies?"
Lin Yaorui did not answer immediately.
Instead, she opened yet another folder buried deep within the computer’s storage.
The moment the files inside appeared on the screen—
Her expression froze. A clear look of shock spread across her face. Her throat tightened as she unconsciously swallowed. Slowly, she turned toward Su Mo.
"Mr... Mr. Su..." Her voice trembled slightly. "Please look at this."
Su Mo frowned at her reaction and stepped closer.
When his eyes fell on the monitor, his expression changed as well. The shock in his gaze was quickly followed by anger. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
The files contained shipping details, surgical reports, and transaction agreements.
But the "goods" listed in those documents were not pharmaceutical products.
They were human organs.
"Those goods are actually..."
Lin Yaorui’s voice was barely audible.
"...human organs. And from what I see, it doesn’t seem legal at all."
For a moment, the office fell silent.
Su Mo stared at the screen with a dark expression.
He already knew that Wang Cai had connections with organ trafficking networks and guessed even Ankang Biotech may not have been spared from being blackened a little.
But he never expected the problem to run this deep. Where is this small stain? Ankang Biotech is like the business front for organ trafficking to foreign buyers.
His fists slowly tightened.
’No. This cannot continue.’
’Now that it’s my company. I won’t let it get messed up any further.’

When Su Mo went inside the room and saw Wen Hang’s condition, he was shocked by the numerous wounds on him.
’It seems Leng Shuang didn’t hold back at all.’ He thought with a slight twitch of his brow.
While averting his gaze from those horrific wounds, he asked. "What did you find?"
Leng Shuang was wiping her wet hands as she answered. "Wen Hang’s brother is the leader of the notorious Black Bull Gang. His name is Wen Jung. They run all the illegal activities for Wen Hang, including organ trafficking."
"Black Bull? Couldn’t they have come up with something better?" Su Mo complained, then asked. "What about He Xiong?"
"He Xiong was just one of the suppliers of orphaned children to Black Bull Gang. As for the superiors in Wang Cai’s mouth, they were none other than the foreign companies that make demands."
