The Devouring Dragon-Chapter 55: Gacha

Her first request after I'd assured her that Sona was fine was to get her magical girl outfit for her, which had definitely thrown me for a loop.

"What?" Sona echoed for a third time, "That should not be your priority right now, Onee-chan!"

"Huh? What could be more important than Magical Girl Levi-tan?" Serafall looked genuinely confused by Sona's statement.

"It's nice to see you again, Leviathan-sama," Rias called out, walking over from where she had been training a few feet over from Sona, "Though I didn't think it'd be like this."

"Hi Ria-tan!" Serafall waved cheerfully at her, but puffed out her cheeks, "I told you, call me Sera-chan!"

"Ara, it seems our big, scary captor might be scarier than I thought," Akeno giggled, walking towards the two sisters as well while she looked at me with lidded eyes.

I really wished she would stop looking at me with those fuck-me eyes, mainly because I knew she was just a tease. Akeno's reputation had gone up to a positive level over the past days, but I knew she wouldn't do anything serious anytime soon unless she developed a random intense Stockholm Syndrome.

"L-Leviathan-sama?!" Ravel noticed Serafall's appearance next, the woman sweating slightly from her training, "You got captured?! How?!"

"Emotional manipulat-"

"I heard that!" Ravel huffed, "But, can't you just blow him up?!"

She pointed at me as she finished her sentence, and I would've been offended if I didn't know she wasn't being serious. Despite Ravel being a bit of tsundere, her reputation with me had become positive as well.

It was actually the most positive of the devils so far, sitting at 'Liked,' which I found a bit odd. It seemed that she didn't mind being kidnapped that much, as opposed to someone like Rias, who was sitting at 'Neutral.'

Rias had been eager to move to Japan for months, and was now instead training for the first time in her life on an isolated mountain, so I couldn't blame her for not liking me yet despite the good conditions I was letting her live in.

"Nope!" Serafall said brightly at Ravel's answer, "We made a magical contract! I'm a slave now!"

She really was far too cheerful for the words she was saying.

"What? Why did you do that?" Ravel looked at her, dumbfounded.

"Emotional manipulat-"

"Nothing makes sense anymore," Ravel sighed, trudging away and going back to train before Serafall even finished.

"Oh! And Val-chan said we could share a room, So-tan!" Serafall cheered as she finally stood up, letting Sona up from her position lying in the dirt, "Isn't that awesome?!"

"S-Share the same room?" Sona asked shakily, her eyes wide and pleading as she looked over at me, "W-Why?"

"She's your sister," I shrugged, "You guys seem to be pretty close, so I thought you might like it."

Of course, I knew that Serafall's insane siscon behavior wasn't returned, or even really liked, by Sona, but I had a different motivation for adhering to Serafall's desire to room with her sister.

Mainly, a couple of very similar-looking quests that were sitting in my quest log.

The first quest in this style, which was specific to Tiamat, had appeared soon after I had defeated the dragon and completed the tutorial. It wasn't the only one either, as there was a long, very long, list of quests in the same vein.

Despite the goal being nearly exactly the same, just with a slightly higher reputation tier each time, the quests were indeed separate. They continued down like that, with the tier of gacha increasing all the way to reaching [Obsessed] reputation tier with Serafall.

It seemed that gacha rewards were specific to reputation-based quests, as none of the major quests to take down the Maou, Grigori, or anyone else had gacha pulls as rewards.

Serafall wasn't the only one the quests were for either - I had one for nearly every woman living inside my palace at the moment, including Rias, Akeno, Koneko, Ravel, Yubelluna, Kuroka, Tiamat, and more.

However, I was a little pissed at the game system. The tutorial taking so long meant I missed out on a lot of quests for women I already had a high reputation with, such as Raya, Shera, Runa, Layna, Momo, Kyon, and Velrissa.

All of them were at [Loved] at least, meaning I had missed the entire liked through slightly loved rewards, along with some higher rewards for someone like Raya, who was at [Strongly-Loved].

But I couldn't be too mad, as I had a ton of quests I could grind out now. I would've tried to court those women anyway, since they were top-tier waifus, but now I could get rewarded for it.

And, considering Serafall was sitting at [Slightly-Liked] right now, I just needed a little push to complete the quest.

"Actually," I hummed, trying to sound as innocent as possible with my suggestion, "Since I've been having to house so many people lately, we're running low on beds. Would you two be fine with sharing one?"

Serafall and Sona's eyes both went wide at my words, but for different reasons.

"S-Share... share... share... share..." Serafall repeated like a broken record, her eyes wide with stars in them as she stared at me, "Share... bed... with... So-tan?"

"N-No, please don't-" Sona started, but Serafall overpowered her with a shout.

"Yes! We get to share a bed, So-tan! This is the best day ever!" Serafall cheered, lunging forward and wrapping Sona in a tight hug, "Yay! Yay! Yay!"

And, just like that, I had another gacha pull. I say another, because I already had four from Kuroka, Tiamat, and Ravel. I had reached [Liked] with both Kuroka and Tiamat over the two months following my completion of the tutorial, and Kuroka had gone to [Strongly-Liked] after my kidnapping of Koneko.

I'd been so busy recently that I had neglected them all, mainly because they were just low gacha pulls and probably not that good, but I would have some time to use them now.

I'd have the Maou and Khaos Brigade watching me closely after my previous actions, so I had a short time period where it'd be in my best interest to stay holed up in my territory and grind.

"Please... help..." Sona stuttered, staring at me pleadingly from Serafall's tight grip. Honestly, she looked more like she was being tortured at the moment than Velrissa's poor acting job earlier that day.

"I'll have the bed ready for you guys by tonight," I merely smiled at her innocently. I needed to increase my reputation with Sona for the quests too, so I hoped she wouldn't hold this against me too much.

I doubted she would - I knew she still loved her sister, even if she wouldn't love the iron-tight grip she would be in tonight.

"Why don't you help train them as well, Serafall?" I changed the subject, causing Serafall to look at me curiously.

"Train?" She asked, glancing around as she took in the training area, "Oh! I've never seen you train, So-tan! You neither, Ria-tan!"

"I would've liked to keep it that way..." Sona muttered.

"That's because Rias never trains," Akeno teased, and Rias blushed at her Queen's words.

"That's okay! Levi-tan will make you all super duper strong!" Serafall shouted, making a peace sign at the duo of women with her fingers.

"Is she seriously going to be here?" Tiamat asked me dryly, the dragon woman standing nearby in her human form. She had been the one training Rias and Sona, along with Ravel and Tsubaki, and it seemed she wasn't eager for a partner.

"Sorry," I shrugged apologetically, but I wasn't that sorry. While Tiamat definitely didn't enjoy Serafall's overly cheerful demeanor, I could tell she didn't hate the girl either.

Compared to the disdain in her voice when she mentioned Ajuka Beelzebub, Tiamat's interactions with Serfall were more annoyed than actual vitriol.

"Woah, Tia-tan is going to help too?!" Serafall cheered, launching forward and wrapping Tiamat in a hug, "Yay!"

It really was impressive how quickly Serafall got over the whole kidnapping thing, as she seemed to hold no grudge against Tiamat for helping me wage war against her entire race.

"Unfortunately, yes..." Tiamat responded dryly, staring down as the shorter woman unintentionally motorboated her large breasts during the hug.

"I'll come back and help train too later," I waved over my shoulder, turning away from the group as I tensed my legs. By 'help train' I meant 'stand around and farm reputation,' as I was far less experienced with demonic power than either Serafall or Tiamat.

I shot forward into the forest, quickly reaching my palace in only a minute. I quickly found an isolated spot before any of Shera, Layna, Runa, Momo, or Kyon could jump me, and then pulled up my completed quest log.

I tapped on the low gacha pull, and another window appeared.

I quickly tapped yes, and another screen replaced that one.

[Car Capsule] obtained!

I blinked in surprise, staring blankly as a tiny pill-like capsule appeared in the air and dropped into my palm.

Car Capsule? Like... a Dragon Ball car capsule?

I pressed the little button on the top of the capsule, and a puff of smoke filled the air in front of me. Suddenly, there was a rundown, old, and slightly rusty-looking blue car sitting in front of me.

Well, I guess I have a car now? A shit one, but a car nonetheless.

It wasn't like I could actually use the car for anything, as I could run way faster than even a racecar, much less this shitbox, but it did reveal some helpful information to me.

The gacha wasn't just confined to this world. Unless someone in the DxD world made capsule cars and I just didn't know about it, the gacha had pulled this from another world.

Suddenly, the gacha system was looking a bit more enticing. I quickly tapped on the next quest, pulling another low gacha.

[Smoke Bombs] obtained!

As a pair of smoke bombs, which looked like two acorn-sized gray balls, popped into existence, my excitement took another 180.

Seriously, a smoke bomb? I already have skills that do that, but better!

I sighed as I shoved the smoke balls into my pockets, moving to the second-to-last gacha.

Despite 'kunai' being the plural of 'kunai,' there was only one kunai. I stared at the small knife distastefully.

Just like with the smoke bombs, the kunai could've come from a plethora of worlds, and it was pretty much useless. There wasn't even a game window that opened to show me the stats of the kunai - it was just a small knife.

I tapped on the final gacha, my hype at an all-time low. My LUK was pretty high, wasn't it? I know it's a low gacha, but these can't be the high-end pulls!
