The dragon's harem-Chapter 1088: Crownless Queen
Eris landed inside the cave, slowly lifted her palm with crackling blood magic sparking out of her nails. "I see…maggots." With a single flick of her wrist all of the maggots inside the vampire lord's body got pulled out and crushed into a mushy paste.
The vampire lord fell to the ground, growing in pain. Her control over blood magic far outclassed his, and what's more, her blood was saturated with divine magic. Like a hot knife through flesh, it burned and seared all of the traces of those maggots.
"Blood Queen…what are those?" The vampire lord growled, coughing blood and barely able to stand. "Bugs, leave them to me."
Purple lightning crackled from her back and she flew up, melting her way through the ground and burst out of the farm lands. In a fraction of a second, everyone in the city felt her aura followed by a sharp pain in their bodies as she pointed two fingers down.
The abomination beneath the ground gasped as he immediately guessed what she was about to do. His whole plan would crumble if he doesn't stop her.
"Who dares invade my nest?" She said with a smile, sending a wave of blood magic all over the city. With a blood magic far stronger than any vampire lord, she managed to identify all foreign maggots inside the people's bodies and ripped them out, causing hundreds of people to fall to the ground, growing in pain as holes burst in their bodies.
Everyone in the castle rushed out to see what's going on and even Claug made her move. She flew to Eris with a worried face, "What are you doing?! He'll run away."
"No he won't, look over there." Eris looked down with a large smile on her face. One man had started transforming and contorting. "It was clear that he was looking for a suitable vessel to control it. The world itself rejects abominations, he can't exist without a vessel. This should be the restriction the abominations need to obey."

Eris landed on the ground with a body covered in blood, in the blink of an eye she had changed from her casual clothes to black morning clothes.
"You…I'll skin you alive!" The abomination growled as his body shifted from looking like a human to a green elf-like humanoid with four eyes and a skin covered in sharp spikes.
"Rest in peace, I'll make sure to cremate you." Eris glared at the abomination with a smile and burning purple eyes. She wasn't even talking with him but giving the poor man who got taken over a final prayer, wishing him eternal rest.
^This woman…I was trying to find the best vessel but she ended up destroying almost all of them. Even if I picked this, which was the best it'll only allow me to draw 80% of my full power. Damn it, I wanted to search a bit more for a suitable one.^ The maggots carried his cells and eldritch magic while he used the spreading plague as a vessel to ingest his DNA into the human's cells to transform it.
Eris was powerful, but she shouldn't destroy the city. It'll take Alcott a while to climb up from the caves if he doesn't want to cause the city's foundation to collapse…the only thing that worries him is Vasilissa's presence. He expected her to attack him the moment he showed up, but she isn't making any move.
^Did she leave? No…she is waiting for a chance to kill me.^ He waved a finger and formed a barrier around his body. Immediately after that, he sent a message to the base, calling for Nyar to pick him up.
"Done preparing?" Eris took a step toward him, a large smile on her face.
"We're in the middle of a city full of humans. Do you dare kill them all? Just wait there, I'll soon leave and you won't have to worry about me again." He lifted his hands with a smile on his face. The whole city is his hostage.
"Is that your last prayer?" She pointed a finger at him, conjuring a ten-meter wide purple sun.
The abomination's face immediately changed into a terrified frown. With a wave of his hands, the barrier around his body grew stronger, but it was barely in time as the purple sun hit him head on, blasting him and an eighth of the village into ash.
The vampires Arad left all around the city to guard it landed inside the castle, they had pulled everyone else to safety at the last moment. Even the injured vampire lord rushed in and picked the family of the girl he killed.
"The queen is so ruthless!" The vampire lord growled and looked at the other vampires. Some of them were burning from the sun and had to hide in shadows like him, while some seemed fine, "But… at least she had this planned out, building can always be rebuilt. We mustn't let that bastard escape."
Another vampire looked at him, "She…didn't plan this. We acted on our own to save the people, if we didn't, she would've killed all of them anyway."
"Then she is no better than Vlad!" The vampire lord gasped.

Eris landed in the burned fields, looking at the abomination with a smile. His barrier had shattered, his right arm was missing and half of his face got burned to the bones. It was foolish to expect the demi-goddess of murder to be anything short of ruthless, especially to someone who just invaded her home.
"You survived that? You're quite tough." Eris took a step forward and she blasted right at the abomination with a clenched fist. "How about this?!"
He barely managed to lift his hand in time to form a barrier and block her attack. But even with that, the impact still sent him flying. ^I must heal first…if I don't she'll rip me apart limb by limb.^ He fully regenerated but the moment he finished he could see a blood spear flying toward him.
The abomination growled, lifting two fingers and waving his other hand. A glowing hexagonal shield appeared in front of him and deflected the blood spear. The spear exploded right after the impact and rained blood, each droplet turning into a sharp needle and piercing the abomination's shield.
The abomination had to jump away and dodge those countless needles. Like his father, he wasn't suited for combat but instead specialized in barriers and sealing magic. On top of that, he had just taken over this body and can't fully manifest his power, he is nowhere near his father's level.
The abomination tried to look inside his father's memories for any way to deal with this woman but he failed to find anything. Most of his memories are getting hazy as he took over the body at a rush and didn't take time to integrate with it.
As he was dodging the needles, Eris grabbed him by the shoulder, "Got you!" She swung a fist at his face and he tried to dodge, ending up with a ripped ear.
^I must fight back, buy time…^ He swung a fist back at her but she deflected his attack and countered with a quick jab. In a close combat, he could only defend and protect himself with barriers against her barrage of attacks. Trying to attack only gave her an opening to counter him.
And whenever he backed away she would stab him with a blood spear. Before long his body was covered in blood and bruises. This was a one-sided beatdown.
But then suddenly he could feel it, something gripping his soul. ^I win!^ He covered his whole body with a barrier and looked at Eris with a smile, "I'll never forget this! One day I shall come back to kill you." He disappeared in a flash.

The abomination landed on the universe's crust, panting. He looked around and found himself in the middle of a large abomination military camp. "Gada? No…you're not him." A large abomination that looked almost like a human but with a black and white body and two heads.
"Gada was my father, he was forced to create me under the assault of Alcott. But…he fell to Vasilissa." The abomination replied immediately and the other nodded, "Usually there would be a punishment for failing a mission, but nothing can be done when Vasilissa gets involved."
The other sighed, "Rest well, you're merely a second rank now. You'll need to at least reach the fourth rank like your father. Carry your father's name, Gada."
"Ranks?" Gada looked at him with a confused face. He could feel that he should know about that, but such memories weren't important so his father didn't give them to him as he was short on time.
"Abominations are divided into thirteen ranks, rank zero is the weakest and twelfth is the strongest. Our Emperor Nyar is in a realm of his own so he is above the twelfth rank. To grow stronger, you must fully master your skill, and then get the power granted to you by our Emperor, if you managed to endure it, you'll rank up, if you don't, you'll die and another with your power will get born."
He nodded, "Vasilissa had sealed the world and we'll need you to undo that seal, work hard."
"And…" The abomination looked back at Gada, "Wash that disgusting blood, it's making my stomach turn."
Gada stopped walking, "Wait…this is my blood…right?" His body inflated like a balloon and exploded into a splash of blood and guts. Eris walked out of the carnage. She had left her blood on him so she could track him and see where he came from, but she didn't expect it to be such a base.
"Thanks for the information." She burned every bit of Gada so the world would remain sealed for a long time.
"Kill her!" The abomination screamed and everyone charged at Eris.
A smile crossed her face as she swung her hand, throwing a massive 100-meter-wide purple sun at them that burned several tens of the third rank abominations and five fourth ranks.
As the purple sun exploded into a titanic pillar of purple fire and painted the whole area, Eris stood there with a smile, clutching her arms as her dress fluttered from the crackling plasma around her.
A sixth ranked abomination landed not far from her. ^I can smell him on her…damn it, he'll come flying here if we harmed her." He could remember it freshly as if it was yesterday, Arad flying over their settlement and burning them to the ground, chasing Vorvadoss.
"You've already killed enough, how about we end it here today?" He growled and Eris's eyes sparked purple.
"Even if I'm a crownless queen, you dare hurt my people? In my house! Blood…shall be spilled. Corpses shall be cremated. None of you…shall have a proper burial." Her body burst into plasma, burning in a massive pillar of purple light.
"Damn it Gada, didn't you find anyone to offend beside his wench?!" The abomination growled, clenching his fists and getting ready for a long fight. Her power is comparable to his.
