The dragon's harem-Chapter 1260: Strong Armed
Arad shifted into his human form but remained the size of a Titan and stood facing Zeus. Tyal stood between them, worried.
"Grandfather Zeus, you aren't taken by the Cronos Raptur, are you?" She turned to her grandfather, and he smiled.
"Of course, that parasite can't take my body now. I came back from the dead to slay him." He smiled and shifted his gaze to Arad. "It's been a while, Wyrmling. I almost didn't recognize you."
Arad sighed, "Last time I saw you, we discussed how to free Zephyr." He smiled, "And before you ask, she is free now."
As Arad spoke, Zephyr appeared out of nowhere and sat on his massive shoulder. With her being just a foot long, almost no one could see her. But no one missed the change in pressure around, as if the air itself became harder to breathe.
"Can you grow a bit bigger? No one can see you." Arad looked at his shoulder, and Zephyr grew as large as fifteen meters tall using size magic. When everyone saw her, all conversations stopped.
They all got worried about the same thing. Did Arad have her with him all this time? As if to answer their questions, Zeus spoke.
"Great Wind Spirit Queen Zephyr, don't tell me you hid inside his body." Zeus lifted an eyebrow, and Zephyr looked a bit offended at the question.
"His wife is my Herald, so I can stay with him as much as I want." freёnovelkiss.com
Zephyr then stopped talking and looked around at the storm, a bit annoyed. "It's so noisy here." She lifted her hand, and the eternal storm faded away, blown by mighty torrents of howling winds.
Zephyr then shifted her gaze to Zeus, "You came back to life to slay the Cronos Raptur. Does that explain the divine magic?"
Zeus looked around and then took a deep breath. "We should find a better place to speak in. Inside the castle, probably."
Soon, they were all inside the castle's meeting hall. Gale and his wives took their seats on one side, as did Arad and his wives on the other side. Zephyr made Arad's head her seat, and Zeus found a stone throne awaiting him, which he gladly sat at.
"Before we start." Zeus looked at one of the servants. "Bring a bed, a soft one."
The servant didn't understand why Zeus would want a bed here of all places, but he didn't dare complain.
Soon, the servant brought one of the best beds in the castle, one that was made from pure white marble and had a soft, fur mattress.
Zeus then approached the bed and waved his hand. Out of thin air, Zenia fell on the bed, still bloodied and her armor cracked in many places. She gasped for air and convulsed for a few seconds as everyone stared at her with shocked faces.
"She resisted Raptur's magic for all of those years as her soul was trapped within him. It was she who allowed me to reach and kill the monster. And it was Tyal who punched her awake." Zeus looked back at Tyal.
"You did manage to kill her. When she died and Raptur's latent magic turned her blood into the powerful reviving agent, her soul managed to take hold back on her own body and resist the parasite." He walked back to his stone throne and sat down.
"She was the lightning rod that allowed me to reach Raptur, so we'll have to thank her first. Even in death, she never stopped fighting." Zeus smiled, "She has every right to be honored for her resistance. Thus, I shall give her the title of undying. Zenia, the Undying Lightning."
Arad spoke next, "I understand that, but what I'm more interested in is you." He smiled, "You aren't the first demi-god I meet; the last one had to die at my hands. But I never heard of someone coming from death to become a demi-god."
Gale and his wives stared at Zeus with terrified faces. They did notice the sharp divine magic rushing through his body, but they never expected him to have become a demi-god.
"Ah, about that. I wasn't dead." Zeus laughed for a while, then suddenly stopped, his face turning into a frown. "This prick of a son I have, he locked me up inside a mountain, do you believe it?"
Zeus snorted, "But it was that time that allowed me a chance to focus on my lightning, and somehow I turned into a demi-god."
Zeus's gaze shifted to Gale, "Don't worry about it, son, the fact that you won against me isn't changing. You won the throne, and I'm not going to fight you for it again." His eyes then twitched. "But what I care to hear about is why Tyal is sitting beside Arad and not beside you."
It was then that Gale spoke, barely able to get each word out of his dry mouth. "Tyal is Arad's wife... no, a concubine. Alice is the wife above her."
Zeus blinked twice with a surprised face. "And you let her be just a concubine? What kind of father are you?"
Zeus immediately turned to Arad, "Make her a wife. We're not taking any concubines."
Arad looked at him in silence for a second and sighed, "Is Raptur really dead? Isn't that what we should care about now?"
Zeus shook his head, "Raptur is dead. He won't be coming back. The body of Cronos is inside the chasm and needs us to drag him out for a proper burial. And you should make Tyal a wife." He threw a sharp glance at Arad. "By the blazes, why would she be just a concubine?"
"Competition is her problem. A Alice is also a storm Titan, far more powerful and versatile than Tyal, and is the founder of the adventurers' guild. I don't need to explain how a guild with thousands of powerful warriors, endless resources, and branches in every single kingdom of the world, far surpasses the status of a Storm Titan princess."
Arad looked at Tyal, "I can't make her a wife since that would undermine Alice's achievements."
Zeus thought about it for a second or two and then smiled, "What if she became the Storm Titan's Queen?"
"She'll stand in the same way as the Elvish Queen Cerilla and the Dark Elvish Queen Jasmine. I would have to take her as a wife due to her status as the ruler of a whole kingdom." Arad sighed, and Zeus stood.
"Then it's decided, Tyal. You're going to fight your father for the title of the Eye of the Storm. You don't need to kill him, just make sure to win and become the Queen." He then glared at Gale, "And before you disagree, she did better than you earlier against the monsters. If not for her, the kingdom would've been monster food by now."
Zeus cracked his neck and approached Arad, "My granddaughter is going to show you what she is made from."
