The Elven Evolution: Starting With 1 Million SSSR Skills-Chapter 171: [] Mad Elf
There were three statues closest to Eliron, three of them statues of legendary knights in full plate armour.
The first one had a gigantic longsword in its hands and wore an enclosed helmet that covered its entire face.
The second knight had a large shield whose tip was resting on the floor. The shield was taller than a building, and probably weighed more than enough to cut through one.
Finally, the last knight was not making use of any conventional weapon, instead, it had a spiked ball attached to a thick chain.
A weapon Eliron was all too familiar with after his fight with the high elves.
The stone giant pulled the chain upwards, the stone links rumbling as they dragged through the floor.
Then it began to spin the weapon, the mace rotating extremely fast, just before it launched it in Eliron’s direction.
Eliron charged right towards the mace, falling down to a slide as the ball rushed past him.
He could see the spikes inches away from his head, the massive structure large enough to obliterate every bone in his body.
Booom!
The ground where the mace met imploded, a large crater forming, along with a storm of dust that exploded from Eliron’s back, shrouding him in the cloud.
Using the dust cloud to hide his position, Eliron raced towards the nearest knight, the man with the shield.
But before he could even move farther, his eyes widened in shock as he was graced with an unbelievable sight.
Normally, one would think statues like this would be less mobile, slow, and probably have wonky movements...
Then why?
Why did the shield-bearing knight just leap into the air?!
Eliron smiled. "It’s just like I thought, this will be a good fight!"
Up above, the giant was descending towards the sand cloud, driving its shield down.
Just as it was moments away from impact, Eliron pushed all his strength into his feet, and then he leaped into the air.
Swoooosh!
He raced right out of the dust cloud, locking eyes with the descending statue, a small smile on his lips.
KAKBOOOM!
The entire chamber shook, dust fell from the ceiling, and a shockwave cut past as the entire battlefield was decimated.
Several sizable balls of fire rained down upon Eliron, the mages casting faster than they had done before.
Eliron twisted his body mid air, rotating in the wind as he raced down, the fireballs turning the floor into a scene straight out of hell.
The floor was burning with magic fire, and even the shield giant was now wreathed in flames, making it look like a summoned demon.
Eliron landed atop the rim of the burning shield, running across it toward the giant.
The giant raised its arm, the move looking deceptively slow, while in reality, it was impossibly fast.
Clap!
Its hand exploded against the rim of the shield, trying to crush Eliron like a bug. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
But Eliron jumped right at its face, the fire reflecting in his blue eyes, bathing the blue pools in bright orange.
He drew his arm back, gritted his teeth, and delivered a heavy blow right at the knight’s face.
Cracks spread out around its head, rushing down to its shoulders, just before the giant crumbled to pieces.
Giant or not, the fact remained that the monstrosity was made with normal stone.
"Rocks might as well be glass..."
"They break all the same."
Swoooosh!
Eliron’s eyes widened as the spiked mace once again came flying at him with explosive force, the wind rushing past the weapon with a demonic howl.
It was too late to dodge, and he was still mid air.
With no solid ground to plant his feet, Eliron lacked the structure he desperately needed to block the strike.
The ball was already a few feet away, its oppressive size enough to make cold sweat run down any warrior’s back.
But instead, Eliron closed his eyes.
He had two seconds to find a solution.
Two seconds to prevent fatal injury!
The rock was too large to slash with a simple strike, he had to do something more, move faster than he had ever done, unleash a move he had only ever thought of in dreams.
His grip on his sword tightened.
He took in a deep, prolonged breath.
Every single noise blurred to nothingness, every single sensation faded, until Eliron became as blank as a sheet of paper.
All he could hear was his raging heart, pounding like war drums, a ballad to the battle to come.
He sucked in a deep breath and left it there, the wind swelling in his chest. And then he struck.
SWISH!
Multiple sword arcs appeared in the air, tracing beautiful patterns in the wind. It was not a technique, and yet it looked awfully similar to one.
Bright flashes of blue, mixed up with black arcs darker than the night.
Fifty slashes in the space of a second. It was draining, something he could not afford to do every time.
But God, it felt good!
The spiked ball exploded into a million pieces, flying past him like a fragmented meteorite.
Some of the rocks were moving so fast that they nicked his skin, blood slowly drifting down his cheeks.
And then came the chain—!
Vwooosh!
Eliron twisted his body in such a calculated manner that he passed through the hole in the chain, just before grabbing the chain and flying with it.
Bang!
The chain exploded against the wall, pulling out broken rocks, and creating a deep groove in it, just before it finally fell to the floor.
The giant tried to pull back the chain, only for it to grow taut.
Within the dust, two azure blue eyes glowed with animosity as it pulled the chain with an explosive force.
The chain slipped right out of the giant’s hand, Eliron taking possession of it.
Whoosh!
He spun the chain around just like the giant had done, but instead of launching it at it, Eliron tossed it towards his back.
Just behind him, a gargantuan statue tore through the dust and debris, the rocks sparking as they brushed past its armour.
It raised its sword, and brought it down with force that could not be challenged—
Only for the chain to wrap around the sword.
If the giant could express any form of emotion, then its mouth would have probably hung open by now, utterly shocked by the splendiferous scene.
A man the size of an ant, swinging a chain the size of several pillars as though he owned it.
The veins on Eliron’s head were popping, twitching as blood pumped through them, his nostrils flared as his lungs demanded oxygen, begging for it!
And his muscles tensed, flowing with impossible strength, as he pulled the sword right out of the giant’s arms.
The mages up above fell to their butts, a look of utter awe on their faces as they watched the scene below them.
One of them tried to cast his spell, trying repeatedly to murmur the words, but every time, he would mess up his lines.
Sweat was pooling down his face, soaking his cloak, and his hands had become slick with moisture.
Clack!
His staff fell from his hand and he quickly squatted to pick it up, but when he raised his head, he saw a gigantic sword was racing right towards him!
"He... he is a mad man."
"Airborne! AHAHAHAHA!" Eliron screamed, laughing as the sword flew into the air.
It took all his effort not to fly along with it.
As the giant who owned the sword tripped and began falling— the sword tore right through all the mages, shattering their platforms and killing them the instant it made contact.
And then it continued its flight path, charging towards the other giant.
The giant raised its arms up in defence, but it was futile, the sword was made of a far tougher material.
Swish!
The stone blade sliced right through its forearm and chest, the two pieces crumbling to the ground.
Eliron took a deep breath and tugged on the chain, feeling as though all his muscles were about to burst.
Click!
The sword’s flight path changed, the large weapon now rotating as it flew towards him.
Crash!
The second statue finally fell right in front of Eliron’s feet, already trying to stand up when the sword arrived.
Eliron leaped, grabbing the blade mid air—
Like an executioner straight out of the abyss, he brought it down upon its neck with strength that defied Elven nature.
There was a flash of light, the wind picked up and Eliron let out a battle cry as he sliced its head right off its shoulders, cleaving the floor along with it!
BANG!!
A shockwave cut past them, the echo reverberating around the room as the sword burst apart, shrouding the entire ground with a thick cloud of dust.
’This kid...’
Up above the battlefield, the sword demon had a wide grin on his face as it watched the utter devastation Eliron had caused.
The young lord was covered in sweat and breathing heavily, his arms red from just how many muscles he had torn from that move.
He smiled, folding his arms across its chest.
’That’s my student!’
Meanwhile, Eliron let out a shallow breath and stared up at the light-filled ceiling.
"Analysis complete."
A dark, crazed grin appeared on his face.
"Found you!"
