The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order-Chapter 2454: Sacred King of Chaos and Order
"Lucky for me, he is dead." Cain could not help but console himself with that thought.
He had no idea how he could ever hope to overcome a being capable of committing genocide on a universal scale.
Although countless thoughts passed through his mind, his expression remained calm and unreadable. Seeing no reaction from him, the Dark Blood King continued.
"The importance of the Ancestor Tomb to the Royal Blutlinie Race lies not only in the fact that it is our origin," he said slowly, his voice heavy with meaning, "but also in what it grants us."
His eyes glowed faintly.
"Through it, one can obtain the power of true immortality... the power to create a real and majestic universe... the power for one’s entire existence to surpass the limits of the Third Realm."
The moment those words were spoken, the eyes of every Royal Blutlinie present lit up with burning desire. Their blood stirred violently, reacting instinctively to the promise of such transcendence.
Even Cain could not hide the flicker of awe in his gaze. It was clear that the Ancestor Tomb was something extraordinary.
Fortunately, the Dark Blood King was not finished.
"The Ancestor Tomb opens at irregular intervals," he continued. "According to ancient records, the first appearance occurred five hundred million years after the rise of the Royal Blutline Race. The most recent one took place approximately four hundred million years ago."
Cain nodded immediately. That interval explained why he had never encountered any information about it. The oldest soul he had examined belonged to the Kalous King, whose kingdom had existed for only three hundred million years.
Setting aside those thoughts, he refocused on the Dark Blood King.
"Whenever the Ancestor Tomb appears," the king went on, "it releases fragments of the Nine Sacred Treasures across Paradise. These treasures are the key to opening the tomb."
His voice deepened.
"And more importantly, only those who possess a complete Sacred Treasure will have the right to compete for the Ritual of Ascendant Origin."
As he spoke, the Dark Blood King could barely suppress the desire burning within him. He took a deep breath before continuing.
"It is through that ritual that a Royal Blutlinie can awaken the legacy of the Ancestor... and become a Sacred King of Chaos and Order."
Cain’s eyes sharpened.
The words Chaos and Order carried a very particular weight for him. They were the very forces he and his brother had mastered.
Even the Ancient One could be considered a practitioner of similar powers, though Cain had never truly regarded the man as a genuine master. His abilities had always felt distorted—more like an imitation than something original.
Still, Cain did not jump to conclusions. Chaos and Order could hold many different meanings.
Instead, he returned his attention to the discussion.
"I see," Cain said calmly. "So the fragments of one of the Sacred Treasures are scattered across the Dark Blood Realm."
A regretful smile appeared on the Dark Blood King’s face as he shook his head.
"No."
"The First Realm receives two Sacred Treasures, as does the Second Realm. From the Third to the Sixth Realm, each realm receives the fragments of one Sacred Treasure. As for the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Realms, they do not receive complete treasures—the fragments of a single Sacred Treasure are distributed among the three realms."
Understanding flashed in Cain’s eyes.
He finally grasped the true reason behind the impending war.
"Your Majesty intends to gather the fragments and keep the Sacred Treasure for yourself," he said.
The Dark Blood King’s gaze turned cold and brutal as he nodded.
"Yes."
"The last time the Ancestor Tomb opened, both the entire Dark Blood Realm and I were too weak. I was forced to hand over the fragments we possessed."
A trace of shame crossed his expression. But it lasted only a moment before transforming into something far darker—hatred, fury, and a cold, murderous resolve.
"But now," he continued, his voice low and steady, "I have awakened my Ancestor Domain. I can wield the power of the Fourth Realm."
His eyes burned.
"This time, I will obtain the Sacred Treasure. I will enter the tomb."
"And I will become the Fifth Sacred King of Chaos and Order."
As those words fell, the aura of the Dark Blood King erupted throughout the chamber.
The pressure was overwhelming. It pressed down on everyone present like a collapsing sky, making it difficult to breathe. Even the air seemed to grow heavy and sluggish under the weight of his power.
Fortunately, the display lasted only a few seconds. The aura soon withdrew back into his body, and his expression returned to a solemn calm.
"The rulers of the Seventh and Eighth Realms will also seek the fragments," he continued. "A war between our three realms is inevitable."
His gaze swept across the table.
"They are undoubtedly preparing their armies with everything they possess. We must do the same."
He paused briefly before staring at the Scarlet King.
"Unfortunately, we have recently lost two kingdoms."
At those words, the eyes of the Royal Blutlinie sharpened as they turned toward Cain. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
"Your actions have caused the Dark Blood Realm to lose a significant portion of its strength," the Heartcram King said coldly. His tone carried a clear intent to isolate and provoke the Scarlet King.
Cain simply sneered.
"Hmph. They were weak," he replied without hesitation. "So I consumed their souls and bodies."
He leaned back slightly, his scarlet eyes glowing.
"You say the Dark Blood Realm has grown weaker because two kingdoms have fallen."
A dangerous smile appeared on his face.
"I say the realm is stronger now."
"Because I am here."
The next instant, a terrifying power spread across the hall.
The force of Null Eternum radiated outward from Cain, silent yet absolute.
Everyone present—except for the Dark Blood King—felt their bodies stiffen. Their movements slowed, their thoughts grew heavy, and their senses dulled.
It was as if an invisible force had penetrated their very atoms, interfering with the fundamental motion of their existence.
