The Eternal Bound-Chapter 43: The Twins
Chapter 43: The Twins
In the night, when humans are usually asleep in their rest, a girl in an oversized hoodie cries while occasionally rubbing her red eyes. Her pale skin shone in the moonlight. Behind her beautiful black hair, there were red eyes that contrasted sharply with her pale white skin.
Her legs, which were wrapped in shorts and sneakers, looked dirty and worn out by the dirty soil. If her head was not covered by the hoodie, one could see several bruises that decorated her white skin.
Her thin hands tightly held the rope of the swing, and she was shaking slowly. Her crying had not stopped, and no one heard her sadness in that place.
It was until the sound of panicked footsteps was heard and stopped right in front of her. The other's irregular breathing was heard. And slowly, the girl felt the warm hug that she always got when she was sad.
Whenever she was sad.
"Why did you run away from home again, Triqi? How panicked do you think I was when I came home and they said you hadn't come home since this afternoon?"
Triqi's twin's deep voice was heard. Triqi only hugged Valan tightly, not intending to retaliate, but still needed support.
Only after Valan held her slender body did Triqi lower her head and start complaining again.
"Today, werewolves from other schools came to school to tease me. They said that my mother and I were a disgrace to the werewolf race. I tried to fight them. But I ended up getting beaten up miserably..."
Valan's face hardened when he heard his twin's complaint. Valan quickly scanned Triqi's condition. His eyes shone when he could see the terrible bruises that were slowly healing on Triqi's body.
In his heart, Valan thought. Wasn't he enough to warn those shameless young werewolves? Should he tear their bodies apart so that they realize that Triqi is better than their lives?
"Valan..."
Triqi called her twin again. The bond between the two of them had been strong since birth. And only to Valan, Triqi was willing to open up like this.
Her round red eyes looked at Valan. Her lips pouted. No. Valan hated to hear the next sentence his twin would say.
"I hate my life," Triqi whispered then buried her head in the crook of Valan's neck. Her eyes slowly closed, and Valan could only hug the body tighter when Triqi was like that. He carried the body that was smaller than him, then brought her back to the house while playing with his cell phone to call someone.
"I've found Triqi, Uncle. And I think I need your help to teach some little pack of what will happen if they disturb what is mine."

Hakan hung up the phone with a sigh of relief. His eyes turned to his mate, who looked worriedly, and Elyna, who was still crying in Val's arms.
After Elyna and Val returned from their visit to Tritan's resting place, they could not find their youngest child anywhere. Valan, who had just returned, immediately ran to look for his twin, who until last night had not brought any news.
Elyna of course cried in panic. Triqi's power was even more unstable than hers. Triqi even got sick easily because of her blood. What would happen to her if she had to wander out there now while Zen said the child had not even drunk her bloodstock since morning?
Elyna was still crying, feeling like she had failed as a mother. After some moments, Hakan approached her to bring the news he had.
"Triqi has been found by Valan, Luna. They are on their way home now," he reported. Elyna immediately stopped crying and looked at Hakan hopefully. "Is it true?" she asked hoarsely.
Hakan nodded. "Maybe they'll arrive soon," he answered. Elyna sighed in relief, then ran to the entrance of her house to wait for her children. She had to make sure her two children were okay.
Someone suddenly hugged her from behind. Wrapped her in a warm coat, then kissed Elyna on the cheek when she turned around. Val's face looked at Elyna, showing deep affection.
"The weather is cold today. You could get sick," whispered Val in Elyna's ear. Elyna smiled slightly and then nodded. Her hand squeezed her husband's hand worriedly while waiting for her children to return.

A black car stopped not long after they were waiting. Valan came out carrying Triqi, who was awake but still happily curled up in her twin's arms.
Elyna and Val's eyes focused on Triqi's smooth legs, which were bruised in several places. Elyna cried again. She would have hugged her child if the youngest hadn't avoided her and tried to speak coldly to them.
"We'll go straight to the room, Valan. I'm tired," she whispered, avoiding eye contact with anyone. Valan quite understands Triqi's mood. He nodded. Valan looked at Elyna and Val with an apologetic look and then took his twin straight inside.
They passed Elyna, who was trying her best to cover her mouth so she wouldn't cry. Val tried to calm Elyna by hugging her and continuing to rub her head. No one knows why Triqi can hate her own family to this extent. Always comes home injured, reluctant to talk to anyone except Valan and Georgio, and always pushes herself whenever she has the chance. Elyna stared blankly at her children's back before she burst into tears again.

"Clean yourself first, Triqi," Valan ordered when he saw his twin sister sitting in a daze with her legs bent at her knees as soon as they arrived at her room. Her clothes were still shabby, and her wounds had not been treated. Triqi was too stubborn and kept quiet like that until Valan finally gently carried her twin to the bathroom and filled the bathtub with water warm enough for Triqi to bathe in.
As soon as Triqi started to take off her clothes, Valan went out to prepare her needs. Valan prepared a set of black pajamas for Triqi. He waited until Triqi finished bathing and changing clothes before he sat Triqi on the bed while he dried her hair. Valan returned with a bottle of blood with him because he knew Triqi's wounds would not close before she drank blood.
"Drink, Triqi."
Triqi was initially reluctant to drink the blood before Valan's dominant voice ordered her firmly. Triqi groaned a little before drinking the blood. Little by little, while enjoyed the warm caresses of her twin, who seriously continued to dry her hair.
Slowly, Triqi's wound closed by itself. The child handed over the remaining half bottle of blood with a sleepy face. Valan no longer protested. At least Triqi was willing to drink the blood, which was the only nutrition she could receive.
Valan stored the bottle of blood in the small refrigerator in their second room. After finishing, his body lay down with Triqi, who immediately hugged his body tightly when Valan approached.
Both of them fell asleep. It wasn't until Valan was aware that late at night, his Mama and Papa visited their room to ask about Triqi's condition. Elyna would not sleep before she felt relieved and kissed her two children's forehead when she left the room.
