The Extra Seeks Chaos-Chapter 155: Battle [4]
Alex had finally gotten closer to Arin, ready to activate a spell, but suddenly, Arin’s eyes glowed red, and he stretched out his right hand with a grin on his face.
Before Alex could even say anything, Arin had already initiated the attack.
"Blood Dragon....."

A blood-red dragon instantly formed in front of Arin. It had red scales and two sharp horns.
This spell was the normal Water Dragon spell that Arin acquired through a plant in the forest, but since he was able to mix his Blood Energy with his Mana-based attacks, this powerful Water Dragon spell became even more powerful.
The Blood Dragon.
He had also used it to get away from Alex back in that forest where the expedition took place.
The Blood Dragon’s large, serpentine body coiled as it opened its mouth, revealing sharp fangs, and then.....
ROAR!
It let out a bone-chilling roar that shook the wind as it instantly rushed toward Alex.
In a building outside the barrier, some students were gathered at the side of the building, fear evident on their faces.
Hector and Lina’s hands were intertwined as Hector stood in front of her.
Suddenly, the chilling roar was heard, making them shiver slightly.
’That roar,’ Hector thought as he squinted his eyes. ’It sounds familiar....’
The moment he had that thought, a huge figure was suddenly seen, its head looming above the buildings inside the barrier.
All the students hiding beside different buildings instantly raised their heads, staring at the Blood Dragon’s head.
"What the hell...?"

With immense force and speed, the Blood Dragon rushed toward Alex, ready to crush him.
Alex gritted his teeth. "Shit....."
He quickly slammed his staff on the ground, and an Earth Wall was formed. But he wasn’t done.
A flame barrier surrounded him, followed by a golden barrier made from the Light Element, and lastly, a water barrier surrounded him.
He used these defensive spells at once, not wanting to take any chances.
From his last battle with Chaos, he had noticed that the Blood Dragon followed him if he didn’t destroy it, so now, he knew that there was no use trying to dodge or run away from it.
The Blood Dragon had already gained large momentum as it reached Alex.
BOOM!
Its head crashed into the Earth Wall, instantly destroying it and making the ground tremble.
The Blood Dragon’s force was still present as it crashed into the flame barrier, passing through it easily.
BOOM!
Cracks formed on the golden barrier as the dragon crashed into it, but it couldn’t go through.
Alex laughed. "The Light Element is stronger! What did you expe~"
Before he could finish talking, Arin suddenly interrupted him with a grin on his face.
"And who said I could create only one dragon?"
In that same instant.....
BOOM!
Three more Blood Dragons instantly formed in front of Arin, followed by a normal Water Dragon.
The three Blood Dragons roared and rushed toward Alex with similar speed. The Water Dragon followed behind its superiors.
Alex’s eyes widened slightly. "My defense won’t hold up...."
Without wasting time, he began adding Mana to his barriers, but the dragons were fast and had already reached him.
BOOM!
The four dragons crashed into his barriers, destroying all of them instantly.
Though, Alex was able to leap back into the air before they could crash into him.
But then.....
WHOOSH!
Arin had already leaped even before him and was already beside Alex mid-air.
His eyes glinted as he swung his dark sword toward Alex.
"Tch....."
Alex quickly raised his staff, and it glowed green.
Instantly, the wind in front of Arin increased in pace, changing the trajectory of his sword upwards.
Alex thought he had successfully deflected Arin’s sword, but Arin suddenly grinned.
"I wasn’t planning on hitting you....."
"Huh?"
Before Alex could process what Arin just said, Arin’s sword, now facing upwards, instantly became shrouded in dark, eerie energy, quickly extending and forming long tentacles.
It was so sudden and unexpected that Alex barely had any time to react.
The tentacles grabbed his legs and instantly threw him downward with great force, sending him to the ground.
BOOM!
Alex was able to soften his landing with a Wind Element spell, but even with that, the force still made him unbalanced.
While landing, Arin gathered Blood Energy in his left hand and moved it backward.
In an instant, he flicked his hand forward, and then.....
BOOM!
His normal sword with a brown hilt blasted toward Alex with great force.
It was as if the wind was sliced into two from the force at which the sword moved.
Alex focused on the incoming sword, but then, he also felt three more things moving toward him.
"Shit.... I forgot about these guys."
The three Blood Dragons were heading toward Alex with great force too.
Now, he was stuck between Arin’s incoming sword and three ferocious Blood Dragons.

WHOOSH!
Seraphine leaped back, avoiding the clone’s sword. She slid backward immediately after she landed, a smirk on her face.
"This thing can really cast spells nonstop," she muttered as her eyes scanned the rest of the team.
Leon was nowhere to be found. He was waiting for the right opportunity to open his portal and strike, though he was also helping with Dark Spikes.
Tessa and Roxanne were present, though Tessa was standing not too far from the right side of the clone while Roxanne was on the left, spinning her chain, preparing to strike.
The red thick chain she was holding was a special ability of one of the Progenitors—Darius, specifically.
If the chain was wrapped around a vampire’s arm or leg, that vampire wouldn’t be able to channel Blood Energy to that part of their body.
For some reason, it also worked on humans. It could stop the flow of Mana in whatever part of the body the chain was wrapped around.
This was the ability Liora used on Arin back in his room. That was why he was unable to use his Water Element spell back then.
Seraphine glanced at the others, and as if in sync, they all nodded their heads.
WHOOSH!
Seraphine instantly dashed toward the clone, adding Blood Energy to her legs, increasing her speed.
But suddenly, she, Tessa, and Roxanne suddenly spotted a dragon made of water heading toward the clone.
The dragon was coming from behind the clone, so it had yet to notice it.
The others knew that Arin was the one controlling the dragon, so they weren’t shocked.
’But still, he’s helping us even though he’s fighting his own battle,’ Roxanne thought with a small smile on her face.
The clone suddenly heard a sound coming from behind, making it turn instantly.
The Water Dragon wasn’t as fast as the Blood Dragons, so the clone was able to react in time.
A golden barrier surrounded it as the dragon approached.
BOOM!
The dragon crashed into the barrier, causing only cracks to appear on it.
Suddenly, the sky above darkened, and golden lightning crackled. In the blink of an eye.....
CRACKLE! BANG!
Golden lightning descended with immense speed, striking the dragon and instantly destroying it.
Though, the dragon had already done its job.
WHOOSH!
Seraphine instantly appeared behind the clone, swinging her sharp claws.
The clone tried to turn back to defend itself, but Seraphine was just too close.
SLASH!
Her claws penetrated the clone’s right arm, slicing out a good chunk of flesh.
Instantly, a blue mist began leaking out from the wound instead of blood.
The clone had flesh, but it didn’t have blood. It was made of Mana, so immediately after it got injured, Mana began leaking from its body.
A fireball quickly appeared in its hand, but Seraphine had already leaped backward.
A portal instantly appeared behind the clone, and Leon emerged from it with his axe ready.
WHOOSH!
He swung his axe with force towards the clone, but the clone was still observant and was able to react on time.
BOOM!
Two Earth Walls rose behind it at once.
It had already known that only one Earth Wall would not be enough to stop Leon’s strike.
BOOM!
Leon’s axe destroyed the first Earth Wall and almost destroyed the second one.
Meanwhile, Roxanne had also attacked.
She wrapped her chain around the long pole that was behind the clone and instantly raised herself with it, swinging towards the clone.
She spun mid-air and descended with her spear clutched in her right hand. Her calm red eyes gleamed as she gathered Blood Energy.
But before she could reach the clone, a wave of Wind Element Energy instantly erupted from it, sending a wild gust of wind that made Roxanne and the others lose balance.
By now, they had already noticed that the spot where Seraphine injured it was still open, and Mana was rapidly leaking from it.
This was the weakness of the clone. Its Mana was reducing quite quickly now, and it was also getting weaker.
Tessa was the first to realize this, and she had been absorbing the sounds made from the attacks of the others and also from Arin and Alex’s battle.
And now....
WHOOSH!
For the first time, the clone’s eyes widened as it looked upwards, staring as if it had just seen an abomination.
