Julian looked at Lucas's moist eyes and seeing his pained expression, her heart ached for an unknown reason.

Looking at Lucas's lonely expression, she perceived as though he had been quite close to her yet he was too far away for her.

A melancholy feeling welled inside her as if she knew Lucas very well for many years and it had many years after which she was able to see her.

Lucas descended to the ground and landed beside Ami handed Julian to her.

Ami panicked and hurriedly pulled Julian out of Lucas's arms. She didn't know what had happened to Lucas in just a few moments that he had gone through a drastic change in just a short period.

His figure seemed to be more mature and his presence seemed to be terrifying. Just standing beside him made Ami shudder, she felt as if she was in the presence of an absolute and terrifying entity.

Moreover, those eyes were horrifying. Just a single look at those reddish-golden eyes made her feel as if her soul would be ripped off from her body.

Lucas after handing Julian to Ami safely, turned towards the dragon and his moist eyes turned sharp and his eyes mere gaze seemed to pierce anyone who stood before him.

As he took a step toward the dragon, the ground rumbled as each step barged with huge momentum.

The dragon felt extraordinary pressure and felt that the person people him walking in a sea of corpses.

The existence of this person gave it a sense of crisis.

"For a mere dead lizard who is barely clinging to his life, you are surely daring," Lucas spoke coldly in a deep heavy tone.

The killing intent which locked the dragon disappeared for a moment and the dragon took the chance to use the dragon's roar.

"Useless," Lucas smirked as he raised his hand and gripped his fist.

The shrill high pitch roar that was transmitted through the air suddenly stopped as a huge barrier of pressure descend on the dragon.

Since sound needed a medium to be able to transmit, Lucas ceased the transmission of sound and condensed the air around the dragon.

The air rippled as a shock wave of air collided with the roar and a burst of air pressure flashed, neutralizing the whole sound.

The dragon looked at the boy in shock and flapped its wings violently to gain some distance.

Lucas noticed that the dragon was trying to flee and waved his hand downwards.

The mana around the atmosphere condensed around Lucas and gushed into its body and his body started to absorb all the mana around him, like a black hole, after having its fill, Lucas made a hand sign.

BOOOOOM!

An explosion whose sound surpassed even the thunder boomed and everything near the spot where the dragon stood and the dragon figure was blown apart. If the unconscious people watched the scene both from the ground and the fortress, their minds would have become blank and they would have questioned their existence.

A crater of around a hundred meters in radius with the dragon at its centre and whose depth easily exceeded more than fifteen meters was formed.

The ground broke into million pieces of fine dust turning into powder, dust and mud flew everywhere from the crater.

The dragon felt as if a huge mountain descended on its back trying to flatten him.

Lucas smiled like a maniac as he saw the dragon groaning in pain but it was still far from over.

Lucas's image disappeared and his silhouette appeared directly above the crater.

He knew these attacks weren't enough to take down the dragon. In truth, he was just playing around with the dragon-like he had found a perfect test dummy to carry out his experiment.

Lucas looked down at the dragon and his figure flashed near it.

Within a blink of an eye, Lucas appeared beside the dragon and pulled its tail.

The dragon shrieked in fear as Lucas pulled its tail and started to swing around.

Lucas rotated his body like blades of turbines, the air around him concentrated around him forming a mini-tornado.

After feeling that he had swung the dragon too much, he threw him up towards the sky like a cannonball.

The silhouette of the dragon flashed in the air like a streak of lightning as he was thrown like an object.

The dragon struggled in the mid-air to control his body but the force with which it was thrown was too much for it to gain control of its body.

"Lucas your body may be injured but still it's okay, as long your body remains in one piece, I am sure Luna will be able to fix it." Lucas chuckled as he muttered.

Lucas bent his head down taking the stance of the Olympic racers.

Mana fluctuated around his body and he stomped on the ground making a deep crater inside the crater.

BOOM! BOOM!

Many bursts of sonic explosion happened in the chain as Lucas's figure shot up into the sky like a rocket flying towards the dragon.

His figure blurred as a streak of lightning flashed in the sky and he appeared above the dragon's head.

Dragon's pupil constricted as he saw the boy before him and as his gaze met with him, it felt an unknown fear.

Lucas clenched his fists hard and interlocked both his fist and he punched and said with a smile, "Have fun.''

Immediately after the punch, the world seemed to tremble.

BOOOOOOOM!

The dragon was shot like a bullet towards the ground.

As the dragon's body collided with the ground, a huge explosion occurred like hundreds of bombs have been dropped from the bomber aircraft, the ground beneath shuddered horribly and a shockwave large enough to send everyone preset on the ground fly away as a small insect spread everywhere creating a ripple of wave on the earth.

There were no flashes of light, no emergence of flame still the ground rumbled and started ro shake violently.

A huge shockwave spreads across the plains before the Fortress of Aler that blew the people up in the vicinity.

The dried black trees which had been previously infected by the seed of darkness were crushed into dust by the shockwave.

The shock wave spread so far and with so much power that huge cracks appeared on the fortress wall and many small houses inside the city fell and were flattened by the artificially created earthquake by Lucas's punch.

The huge trees in the forest and leftover remains of the demonic trees present on the battlefield were shattered into thousands of tiny fragments of wood and spread in the air in the form of sawdust.

A few kilometres away in the city, the citizen screamed in fear as they thought their knight squad lost due to the appearance of an unknown monster.

Fredrick, Parth, Rose and Charles and all other Lucas's classmates looked at the figure standing in the air with their jaws wide open.

Due to huge tremors, they just were able to gain consciousness when another shockwave struck them.

They couldn't believe what was happening and thought they were dreaming when Lucas saved the Princess and now the huge shockwave blasted them off the wall and had knocked them unconscious.

On the ground except for a few 6-Star knights and the Paladins, everyone was already knocked out by the huge blast.

Luna looked at Lucas's figure with a curious gaze and muttered something in an inaudible voice No wonder, The Goddes think so highly of you."

Luna's lips curled upwards as he thought about a distant memory.

"Tsk." Lucas clicked his tongue as he saw that half of the bones in his right arm were crushed.

His body wasn't able to contain the huge force of the punch and suffered a backlash.

"As expected." He muttered as he saw looked down on the down.

The dragon ribs that were protruding out of its body were crushed and there was a dent on its upper scale on its' back.

"Dragon scales are a tough nut to crack," Lucas murmured as he looked at its condition.

"My old body is still far off from its strength. Though your progress is fast compared to my time still it is far from enough as the enemies you will face will be far stronger than I have faced."He muttered as his figure hovered in the air.

Lucas flew close to the dragon.

The dragon mustered the last of its strength and stammered to stand up on its feet with his trembling feet.

His front claw had been broken by the previous attack.

The dragon gave a ferocious roar and the flames burning nearing its chest starts to run fiercely and started envelope its whole body and a dark sticky substance started to surround his body.

Ami and Julian's expression faltered as they felt the dragon was on the last leg and it was burning the flame to increase the intensity of its final attack.

The dragon shot its fiery beam of light that materialised in the shape of a dragon and gushed towards Lucas.

Lucas just opened his palm and a crimson glowing dagger manifested in his left hand which trembled when Lucas lifted it.

Suddenly an immeasurable and terrifying surge of murderous aura burst forth froth from Lucas's body.

Everyone saw a huge majestic figure outlined in red manifesting behind Lucas whose blood-red cloak fluttered.

The sun rising from the east over its head basked him in glory and when seen over his head, the sun looked like his crown which emitted dazzling rays proclaiming the birth of the Sovereign.

Anyone who saw the figure had an urge to bow down on their knees.

The widespread ferocious energy emanated from Lucas's blade becomes more chaotic and powerful.

Lucas's gaze narrowed as he unleashed a surge of aura that belonged to a Sovereign, but frightening everyone presents out there.

His body started to glow in crimson coloured, as red lightning converged on his blade and his robe fluttered.

"Dimensional Slash," Lucas spoke as he slashed his blade towards the incoming beam of light.

In an instant, a mesmerising crimson ray of light burst forth as it lit up, clearing the remaining darkness with a flash of extraordinary brilliance.
