Lucas stared at Will with a calm expression while wondering if this person thought of him as an insect who should do as it was told.

Reynolds had taught him that when you were in a meeting or negotiations, one should always think of the card one had in the hand.

If your card cannot tackle the other, one should recede and compromise while trying to back out as politely as possible or make the deal.

But knowing this guy, he would surely force him to sign a contract or to take an oath.

Still, Lucas decided to refuse the offer and tried to dig out some more information from them and if possible to know their goals.

"Are there any side effects after taking this?" Lucas asked.

"Or is this a commercial potion available in the market?"

Keller who stood beside Lucas started to frown on hearing his question and seemed to have an uneasy expression.

"No, there aren't any side effects. In the worse case, you just feel a little lethargic."

"And it's not on sale. It's a new product and is in the testing phase."

'Lethargic my ass. Seeing your expression, I can guarantee that this is some kind of illegal drug.'

For a potion to be used commercially one needs to get permission from the Alchemist association.

A portion shouldn't have a side effect no matter what and if it shows a side effect it cannot be considered a potion and would be considered an illegal drug.

And Lucas didn't even want to think about the origin of the potion.

Either it was from the villain society or this bastard Keller had invented this.

The rampage of the Villain Society will be suppressed by the invasion of Demons over human land, two years from now and they will face an internal crisis due to demons trying to take over them.

So, if this person was the one who invented this and joined the Villain Society, There was a possibility of him being killed somewhere and that's why there was no mention of the potion.

Lucas looked at Will and spoke with a resolute gaze" Sorry, Vice President Will. I don't think I can take up your offer."

Will's expression distorted on hearing Lucas's words and his eyes burned in anger.

"What did you say?"

"A mere commoner like you dare to turn down my offer. If not for Keller's suggestion to use you, do you think I would look for you?"

"Low-class commoners like you should do what you are told."

"You are already getting enough benefits or are you thinking this much is not enough."

Lucas got up from his seat and bowed his head.

"Vice President Will, I apologize if I offended you somehow."

"It's just that I don't want to rely on external things to raise my strength otherwise I fear it may form an addiction."

"If once I decided to take the easy route, I fear I would always be tempted to take a shortcut."

"So once again I apologize for my rude behavior and beg your pardon," Lucas spoke and turned back to leave as quickly as possible, staying here would only worsen the situation.

But Lucas hadn't even turned his head back when he felt a strong grasp on his head and even before he could react, his head was slammed on the table.

BANG!

The glass on the table shattered and all the things on the table were sent flying.

Small pieces of glass pierced Lucas's forehead and blood started to gush out from Lucas's head and seeped down the cracks of the glass and started to trickle down from the table.

Lucas's vision started to become blurry with the sudden onslaught of headaches and pain.

Gritting his teeth, Lucas spoke, "What are you doing?"

He tried to use his strength to get up but Keller pinned his head down with all his force and looked at Lucas with a fiery gaze.

"Bastard how dare you refuse His Highness!"

"Highness please forgive this servant for thinking that this useless piece of shit can be any help to you."

"Not only did this trash refuse you, but it also spoiled your mood."

Lucas looked at Keller who changed his color so quickly that even surprised him.

At first, Lucas felt his heart burning with anger, it was the same feeling when he dealt with Oskolov but that was the future Lucas's obsession with revenge but not his.

But this time, he could feel the anger wanting to tear down this Keller.

He was angrier about this bootlicker than Will himself who allowed him to walk away.

"Highness, should I get rid of this piece of trash?" Keller asked.

"No need. If we kill him Julian will not back down easily."

"Just throw him outside."

"I don't think he can pose much threat. Even if I tell Julian about this there is nothing she can do."

That's one of the reasons why he didn't disclose important things.

Keller bowed and pulled Lucas grabbing his collar and throwing him outside the door.

BANG!

Lucas collided with the opposite wall and fell to the ground.

He shook his head to get over his dizziness and looked at the room with an inexplicable expression.

He finally had guessed what Will wanted to do.

Will wanted him to use the potion in public and move the disciplinary body with his power to search him.

If it was some kind of drug, Lucas may get into trouble.

Now, the question arises what benefit would it do to him?

Will had certainly consumed that potion in the final which had caused a negative impact. He might be looking for a scapegoat to shake away his hand and put all the blame on that person.

Will selected Lucas's cause Lucas's growth met the expectations and it can be explained if he uses a potion to increase his strength.

His aim may not be Julian but this Kellar or someone near him might suggest using this chance to curb Julian's influence.

Although Lucas was injured it was a good thing for him to get to know about the possible danger.

But about that Kellar.

'Bootlicking asshole teachers like you should be cut into pieces.'

Lucas touched his forehead where small pieces of glass were struck and vowed in his heart.

'I will swear on my name that I will take that hand of yours which you used to throw me out.'
