The Forsaken's Revenge-Chapter 519 The Number One Master
"Experts from the Blood Bat Clan!"
"It's rumored that this race is naturally bloodthirsty, feasting on the fresh blood of their own kind. Every member of the Blood Bat Clan is a master!"
Seeing the three figures in black, the surrounding cultivators instantly gasped.
"You're seeking death, too?" Chen Zheng's gaze swept over the trio.
"Heh heh! The three of us together can even kill an ordinary Martial Artist at the early Golden Core Realm. Chen Zheng, today is destined to be the day you die!"
"That's right! You won't escape this time, even if you grew wings!"
The three members of the Blood Bat Clan sneered viciously.
SWISH! SWISH! SWISH!
The words had barely faded when three blood-red shadows swept across the void. In the blink of an eye, they were before Chen Zheng, bringing with them a nauseating stench of blood that filled the air.
"Chen Zheng, you're a fool. Our Blood Bat Clan has an innate talent for speed. Unless a Nascent Soul Stage cultivator intervenes personally, no one can handle us!"
"Haha! This guy is so arrogant! Daring to come to Qingyang County all by himself… he must have a death wish!"
"As expected of the Blood Bat Clan, their speed is terrifying!" the onlookers exclaimed.
A blood-red shadow flickered, appearing right before Chen Zheng. "Die, kid!"
"Get lost!" Chen Zheng roared.
BOOM!
He thrust out his palm, unleashing a powerful shockwave that swept outwards.
PUFFT! PUFFT! PUFFT!
Three muffled grunts echoed as the blood-red shadows vanished. In their place, three clouds of blood mist hovered in mid-air. The three Blood Bats had been killed instantly.
He instantly killed members of the Blood Bat Clan!
HISS!
The surrounding cultivators all drew a sharp breath.
"The Origin Qi Realm! He broke through! He has reached the peak of the Origin Qi Realm, maybe even half a step into the Origin Pill stage!"
"That's not right! He doesn't feel like a peak Origin Qi Realm martial artist, more like someone in the middle-stage Golden Core Realm! But he's clearly just an Innate Ninth-Level Martial Disciple!"
"Could he have been concealing his strength?"
The crowd murmured in confusion. How could this be? Chen Zheng was just an Innate Ninth-Level Martial Disciple, yet he had just defeated and instantly killed three early-stage Golden Core Realm Martial Artists!
"Brother Ye, are you hiding your strength to deal with the Shenzhao Sect? We support you!"
"Yes! We support Young Master Ye in standing up to the Shenzhao Sect!"
"We are willing to advance and retreat alongside you, Young Master!" a group of Innate Martial Artists declared one after another.
At this moment, confusion flickered in Su Mo's beautiful eyes. She couldn't understand where Chen Zheng found the courage to confront a first-rate sect. However, for some unknown reason, the confident smile playing on his lips made her feel a sense of reassurance.
"Good, young man! Not only is your talent outstanding, but you've also got guts, daring to come here alone to die!" a sinister voice echoed from the sky.
The next moment, three figures appeared in everyone's line of sight. It was two men and one woman.
One of them was a short, stout man in green robes. His build was surprisingly frail, and his skin was dark. He exuded a cold, evil aura, and his small, beady eyes were fixed on Chen Zheng as if he wanted to devour him whole.
"Xue Wuheng of the Blood Bat Clan!"
"And people from the Blood Demon Valley!"
"Chen Zheng, run! Xue Wuheng is the son of Xue Li, the Master of the Blood Demon Valley!" a cultivator who recognized him shouted in alarm.
Blood Demon Valley was one of the most powerful forces in Nanling County, and Xue Wuheng was considered a peerless genius of the younger generation.
The Blood Demon Valley? I mind my own business, and they mind theirs. Why are they coming after me? Chen Zheng frowned. For years, he had never provoked anyone, yet people constantly sought him out for trouble, sending experts from all corners to hunt him down. He was getting tired of it.
"Xue Wuheng? You're Xue Wuheng?" Su Mo was startled, her expression changing drastically. She had heard his name before: the son of the Blood Demon Valley's Master, Xue Li, and the most dazzling, peerless genius Nanling County had seen in centuries. It was said that not only was his talent astonishing, but his martial cultivation had also reached the Golden Core Realm. On top of that, he was a monstrous talent at the Innate Tenth-Level.
The strength of the Blood Demon Valley was terrifying. Over the years, many martial institutions in Nanling County, including the Canglan Academy, had attempted to win them over, even offering resources to aid their growth. But the Blood Demon Valley looked down on the Canglan Academy. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
"Hmph. You dogs from the Blood Demon Valley can forget about leaving today. All of you are staying," Chen Zheng said, his face like ice, his gaze filled with a chilling killing intent.
"Don't get cocky, boy!" his voice boomed through the air like a great bell.
Just then, the woman who had been unconscious suddenly opened her eyes. She looked at the man beside her. "Honey..."
Chen Zheng turned his head, his gaze softening as he looked at his wife. "You're awake? How do you feel? Are you uncomfortable anywhere?" As he spoke, he gently placed his large hand on her head, stroking her lustrous black hair. His touch was incredibly gentle, as if he were handling the most precious piece of porcelain.
"I'm so cold... my whole body is cold..." The woman frowned, panic in her eyes. "Honey, save me... save me..." She threw her pale, slender arms around the man beside her. At that moment, she looked incredibly fragile, as if she might faint again at any second.
"Silly girl, I'm here. Don't be afraid. Just lie down for a bit. I'll get you out of here right away. I promise, from this day forward, no one will ever dare to harm a single hair on your head," the man consoled her.
"Mm..." The woman nodded. She closed her beautiful eyes while resting in her husband's embrace, but her lightly trembling eyelashes betrayed the deep fear in her heart.
"Let's go..." The man stood up and motioned to his four companions.
"Heh heh, Old Four, it's about time we brothers got to work! Tonight, we're gonna hand over this 'Blood Dragon' fellow to you as a congratulatory gift!"
Hearing this, his other two companions began to snicker.
"Old Three, Old Five, get the girl in the car!" Old Four ordered with a wave of his hand. Two of the men dragged the woman to her feet, hoisted her over their shoulders, and carried her toward the sedan parked by the road.
"Ah—!" a scream escaped her as she was thrown into the car and the door was slammed shut.
SCREECH—
Just as Old Four was about to get into the driver's seat, he slammed on the brakes. The entire car shook violently, and he himself nearly tumbled to the ground, a complete mess.
"Wh-what's going on?" Old Four sputtered, twisting his head to look in the rearview mirror.
"Old Four, is the car broken?" his two brothers asked, confused by his strange expression as they followed his gaze.
"Son of a bitch, are we haunted?!" Old Four suddenly roared. He clearly remembered there hadn't been a car in front of them! Now a container truck had appeared out of nowhere, blocking his path.
"Haha, Old Four, did you piss your pants? Hurry up and tell the driver to turn around! I want to see who's got the balls to block us!" Old Five mocked.
"You're asking for it!" Old Four roared, glaring at Old Five.
However, before he could make a move, Old Three had already thrown the car door open and rushed out. "Fuck! What shitty luck! The car's damaged! No way, I need to get another one, or tonight's fun is ruined!"
BOOM!
The moment he finished speaking, another massive explosion roared. Old Three's body went rigid, and Old Four, next to him, froze on the spot.
A Cayenne was now parked in front of them—the very same one that had been properly parked on the side of the road just a moment ago.
"Old Four, what do we do? Did we see a ghost? Is that a ghost car?!" Old Three stammered, his lips trembling and his eyes wide with panic. He had been in the underworld for years, but he had never encountered something so bizarre.
A ghost car? As if! That's the kind of thing you only find in horror stories!
"Shit, run!" Old Four reacted in a flash, diving into the passenger seat and slamming the door shut with a THUD.
"Fuck! Old Four, you trying to drag me down with you?!" Old Three snapped back to reality, cursing as he jumped into the driver's seat.
VROOOOM!
In the next second, the Cayenne's engine roared as it sped off.
WHOOSH!
In the blink of an eye, the Cayenne vanished into the night.
"Damn it, that was fucking terrifying!" As soon as the Cayenne was gone, Old Five couldn't stop himself from cursing, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.
He was genuinely petrified. Just a moment ago, that Cayenne had been sitting right in the middle of the road. If they hadn't dodged, they would have crashed right into it. Even with their martial skills, a car crash like that wouldn't kill them, but it would have left them severely injured, if not fighting for their lives.
