THE GOD EATER-Chapter 212: Looking Down On Loki.

He was thinking about how much he wanted to kill Skarg one moment, but in the next moment, he found himself in his body in the physical world.

As he regained physical sensation, his eyes glinted sharply, and he said to himself, "Time for another round."

Then he caught sight of Slav hiding behind Muni, which caused him to grin and say, "Starting from you."

He licked his lips and said, "I can’t handle Skarg yet, but I should be able to deal with you, right?"

His elongated canines, caused by the transformation of Fenrir, made his grin and the act of licking his lips look very ferocious. But he didn’t waste time thinking about what to do. As soon as he made his decision to act, his body moved to act.

Whenever he reverses time, it takes time for Fenrir from the future to fuse with the Fenrir of the present, and it also takes time for him to digest his memories of the future with his current body.

The time it takes Fenrir to fuse is relatively short. The two versions of Fenrir always complete the fusion before his future consciousness can fuse with his present mind and before he can finish the digestion of his future memories.

This makes it so that he regains his cultivation in Fenrir before he becomes aware of the world around him and can move. So Slav had sensed his aura of rank 3 and had panicked before Loki spotted him.

The room they were in was large in order to accommodate all 101 of them. The 100 initiates were arranged in a formation of 20 in a row for a total of 5 rows. As for Muni, he was standing in front of everyone in the room.

Slav was in the front row, while Loki was in the second-to-last row. So there were two rows between them. Since each row was separated by one meter, the distance between them is normally 3 meters.

Now that Slav had jumped behind Muni with the Space Blink, the space between them has increased to 4 meters. Even so, this amount of distance still isn’t anything significant for him.

His body is weak, but he can supplement it with his Life Ability. This is something that he didn’t think about doing. He just did it.

As he took a step towards Slav, the Shifting Armor Ability was activated. It was an instinctive activation. Black thick ooze began to pour out of his belly and spread outwards, covering his skin.

The next thing that he did was to use the Tracking Ability to mark Slav. So by the time that he had taken his second step, Slav had been marked, and the black armor had covered his whole body.

This was just in time for him to create a sword, which he used to take away the obstacle in his way. This obstacle was the person standing in the next row in front of him. Loki cut him from side to side. Even his arms, which were by his sides, were also cut.

The person fell to the ground immediately as if they were a puppet and their strings had been cut. This allowed Loki to walk over their corpse towards his main hunting goal. But the death of someone also caused panic.

Someone screamed, saying, "Murder!!!"

Everyone else began to scream, too. They also ran away from him in a bid to create some distance between them.

He minded their screaming a little bit as it was noise, but he didn’t mind that they were trying to get away from him, as this meant that they were unlikely to be in his way from now on.

The only problem that he had with them was that they were not fast enough. So even though they were running away from him, he still encountered someone on his way to Muni, whom he had to cut down to make way.

At this point, Muni’s attention had returned to Loki. He had been looking behind him at Slav after Slav suddenly appeared behind him. But when he heard the scream of murder, he turned around and saw Loki swinging a large black sword and cutting everything in his way.

Muni saw the imposing figure of Loki bearing down on him and shouted inwardly, saying, "Oh no."

"The reincarnator wants to take the Divine Metac, and I’m in between them. This is bad."

Without thinking, he dove to the side to escape his precarious situation. He didn’t want to have anything to do with the fight between Loki and Slav at all.

As for avenging the two people that Loki had killed, he didn’t even think about it at all. He wasn’t willing to risk his life by fighting either Slav or Loki for any benefit, so there was no way that he would risk his life to protect some initiates.

Besides, he is their instructor, not their protector. They will be lucky if he doesn’t sell them to the highest bidder, so it didn’t even cross his mind to try to stop Loki.

With Muni gone, there was no one standing between Slav and Loki. So, Slav and Loki had nothing blocking their sight of each other.

They didn’t need to crane their necks to the side to look at each other this time around, so Loki was able to see all of Slav’s expression without any obstruction.

There were a lot of reactions that he expected from Slav in this moment, but panicking wasn’t one of them. As it happened, he was right to expect this because Slav was not panicked at all.

The expression that Slav had on his face was a faint sneer. The look he had in his eyes was one of amusement. These two things made it clear to Loki that Slav thought that he was way over his head.

As demeaning as this was, Loki wasn’t razzled because he had expected it. In fact, he, too, had considered that he would be acting above his level to attack Slav. This was why he hadn’t attacked Slav these past lifetimes.
