[> High Tier Spell – Quake Blade <]

Terran summoned another spell, effortlessly calling upon the magic without the need for any casting.

As Razor-sharp earth blades erupted from the ground, causing the Tier 7 Orcs stationed there to sense the imminent threat of their own demise.

However, Terran’s attention was focused elsewhere, He had his sights set on the last two Tier 6 Orcs, the shamans responsible for restricting the surrounding space.

The moment these shamans felt Alec’s gaze upon them, they desperately wished for the ground to swallow them whole.

But they knew they couldn’t budge from their positions, as it would undo the spell they were maintaining.

With a smirk, Terran sent two of the razor-sharp Quake Blades hurtling toward them, reaching them with such velocity that an explosion echoed through the air.

Before the shamans could react, they were impaled by the blades, and slumped to there death.

"Bulls eye!" Terran exclaimed.

However, from the corner of his eyes, he detected movement from the other orcs, indicating a sneaky attack.

He chuckled at their feeble attempt, having only slowed their movements by increasing gravity.

Yet, they remained motionless, attempting to deceive him and waiting for someone to make the first move.

Terran found their ploy pathetic, considering he had faced numerous Orcs before and understood their physical abilities, and was aware they could still move if they employed there force power.

But they only moved once he had dispatched the shamans, However, it was already too late, as the spell cast by the shamans began to unravel, releasing the restrictions on the space.

Within an hour , the War God Mage Academy would be able to deploy their powerhouses to the city to stabilize it.

Just as Alec anticipated three Tier 7 Orcs engaging him, having immobilized one in quicksand which was drawing him down slowly but surely, he was surprised to see only two Orcs appearing before him.

The Tier 7 orc that was commanding , had chosen to flee at the expense of his comrades, and this elicited a laugh from Terran.

"We must escape now while we have the chance, We cannot win now that the space is no longer locked," the commanding Tier 7 orc said to the rest of the army as they started running, as the Tier 7 was sure he was making a calculated decision to retreat.

"Cowards!"

Terran exclaimed, thrusting both hands forward in a noticeable gesture. Almost instantly, two of the Quake Blades above responded to his command, swiftly moving and striking down the two Tier 7 Orcs that tried to sneak attack him, as he pushed the other Orc deep into the quicksand.

He glanced at the Orcs that were now attempting to flee.

Normally, they always warn him not to kill Orcs of lower ranks, but he didn’t care at the moment, That disregard for their rules was exactly why he was despised.

In his opinion, if they had chosen to go to war with the humans, they should have been prepared to face the consequences if they ever lost.

[> High Tier Spell – Sand of Imprisonment <]

Terran stretched his hands towards the Orc army in their retreat, as the ground beneath their feet liquefied, transforming into a vast pool of quicksand.

And various vines made of sand emerged, swiftly wrapping around their hands and dragging them into the ground.

The Orcs cried out in pain, some even pleading for help from the commanding Tier 7 who had managed to pass through the gravity zone.

But he was too frightened to turn back to help, opting instead to flee, the Orc turned his gaze back to witness his fellow Orcs being buried alive in the suffocating quicksand, imagining the torment they must be enduring.

"Believe this, I will find you, and I will make you pay for all this," the commanding Orc shouted as he flew away, not bothering to stay.

Despite hearing the threat, Terran simply brushed it off with nonchalance.

The space lock was finally releasing, making their return to the Academy possible. Explore more adventures at novelbuddy

The sight of thousands of Orcs buried alive caused a wave of unease among the city guards watching, as they quietly expressed their gratitude that Terran was not their enemy.

Taking his time to restore the ground to its original appearance, Terran began leisurely walking back to the city.

It was then that a break in space caught his attention, revealing Alderic.

However, the short elder had blood staining the corners of his mouth.

"So, with all the boasting you’ve done, you still ended up getting injured by him?" Terran teased, observing the glare that Alderic shot back at him.

"Hmm, he caught me off guard, But I left him in an even worse state, Since my help is no longer needed here, I’ll leave the city’s troubles to you,"

Alderic said as he dashed towards the War God armoury, his hands outstretched towards the still unconscious captain.

"You can’t do this to me! I have to get back to the Academy quickly.

If the Orcs find out I’m here, I’m sure they’ll turn from waging a war next into attempting to assassinate me," Terran complained, but Alderic ignored him again.

And after Alderic levitated the captain’s body towards himself, he slammed the doors of the War God armoury shut.

Terran snorted when he saw this.

"Petty old man, always trying to act like he’s the good guy but really he’s just a bully, He couldn’t even let go of his grudge against the captain, Well, I do pity that captain now,"

Terran remarked as he walked over to his disciples. It was then that he realized Alec was still missing.

"Why does Alec always put me through so much trouble?, I never troubled my master this much. Why isn’t he back yet? The Abyss is on the verge of getting bloody after what I did, and my disciple thinks it’s best to stay outside the academy city," Terran complained once again.

But as usual, Agnes looked at him with a funny expression, Everyone knew that Terran was a troublemaker even before he became an instructor.

He had a bounty on his head to still prove this and his master had to clean up after his major blunders.

If not for that, Terran would have been killed long ago, . But it seemed like Terran had forgotten all of that now It was his turn to look after Alec and the rest of the gang.

Terran had never experienced this much stress in his life, All his previous disciples who were killed were either too weak or too afraid to face death.

But Alec was always on the verge of giving him a heart attack, treating the Abyss like an amusement park, causing large battles, and earning the reputation of the Abyss Troublemakers in no time.

Terran could only imagine how much more stressful his days would become.

At least his late students stayed within the walls of the academy, But Alec saw the Abyss as his true home, spending less and less time at the academy itself.
