The Golem Mage-Chapter 412 : A Bloody Night (3).
Alec moved swiftly through the crowd of mages, leaving the clearing of the mages chasing them to Sword Saint and Magnito by his side, as his only focus was solely on eliminating the top brass of the Evil sect.
As he approached the door, five mages stood in his way, but Alec wasted no time in tightening his grip on his weapon and unleashing swift slashes.
By leveraging the length of the Changdao, Alec executed agile maneuvers as he expertly took down the first four mages with precision.

And with a swift motion, he positioned himself to thrust the Changdao deep into the fifth mage's armor, targeting a vulnerable spot in the heart region.
As the fifth mage lay on the brink of death, he managed to utter,
"For the Sect, To eternal life," before his final breath.
Reflecting on the extent of brainwashing within the Evil sect, Alec muttered,
"What have they done to you?, This is another level of manipulation," his thoughts drifting to the villagers who were beginning to exhibit blind faith in the Evil sect group too.
It was clear that they were not deeply involved, but this enforcers mages had definitely been deeply corrupted.
Alec wasted no time in withdrawing his Changdao and kicking the enforcer, using his weight to force open the door to the temple.
The body of the Mage Alec had just killed flew across the room and landed on the table where the deacons and the priest were gathered.
As Alec entered with his two Tier 2 golems they stood at the door blocking the way, as the group of deacons erupted into laughter, except for Deacon Cruz, who had been warning them about Alec's master.
"Don't tell me you were so worked up because of a Tier 3 Mage, Deacon Cruz. So what if he has an army of golems?, Not all of them are Tier 3, we have over forty Tier 3 Mages here against just him, This will be an easy kill,"
One of the deacons scoffed at Cruz's warning, just as a loud bang echoed through the room.
"I'm glad you're all here, so I don't have to go searching for you when you try to hide, It's time to rid the Evil sect trash,"
Alec declared, his right fingers still outstretched with brown earth runes swirling around them.
The remaining members present were still struggling to process what had just occurred.
"In one move, he took down a Tier 3 Mage while being a Tier 3 Mage himself, as I predicted, we are no match for him,"
Deacon Cruz whispered, looking at the body of the now deceased deacon who had doubted his warnings.
"Argh! You are going to pay for what you did!, What are you waiting for?, Let's overwhelm this bastard and finish him!"
A companion of the fallen deacon roared in anger, igniting the remaining deacons' resolve as they charged towards Alec.
"It's about time," Alec muttered, assuming a new stance and moving his Changdao behind him as he advanced to face the oncoming mages head-on.
A massive fireball was hurled towards him by one of the deacons, causing him to twirl and confront a stone fist hurtling his way.
Reacting swiftly, he raised his Changdao in a defensive position to block the attack, as he was already anticipating a strike to his ribs using his mental powers.
Lifting his legs to defend against the assault, Alec deflected the fist with his knee, swiftly countering with a kick to the neck that sent his attacker reeling, before pushing them Mage with the stone fist away.
[Low Tier Attack – Changdao – crescent moon strike]
Almost instantaneously, Alec swung his Changdao in an arcing motion, releasing a crescent moon-shaped Sword Qi that struck several mages away from him.
Despite the challenge of facing multiple opponents, Alec displayed no signs of imminent defeat as he cracked his neck that had gone stiff.
Suddenly, a rock struck him, sending Alec hurtling into the darkness of the room.
"Now is the time to unleash your power on this enemy!, Send your strongest spells now that he's been hit, We have an opportunity to take him down," the Priest urged, prompting the mages who had witnessed Alec being struck to unleash a variety of attack spells towards the spot where he had disappeared.
The cacophony was deafening, making it difficult for them to even hear themselves speak.
All they could focus on was bombarding Alec, who now resembled a monstrous entity to them now.
However, as they busied themselves illuminating a dark area that they couldn't even see clearly, Cruz observed the two golems that had entered with Alec.
They were still standing, and a sly smirk seemingly appeared at the corners of their lips.
"There's no way they can defeat Alec like this, unless the Tier 4 bishop doesn't appear, their numbers will be useless against him, this guy is a monster. I need to escape quickly,"
Cruz thought to himself, silently plotting his exit strategy as he waited for Alec to emerge first before taking the opposite location.
After narrowly escaping death before, Cruz now valued his own life above all else.
Unlike the others who were willing to sacrifice themselves for the Sect, Cruz remained focused on self-preservation.
As they anxiously watched the darkened area, hoping for any sign of Alec's survival, a sudden groan caught their attention.
Turning around, they were met with a fellow member impaled by a blade, as the blade was slowly removed, it revealed Alec standing before them as he had attacked them from behind instead using the dark areas.
He ripped off his upper clothing, exposing the red, brown, and black tattoos etched on his skin, which then transformed into the Red Salamander armor encasing him.
"Don't tell me that's all you have to offer, because I'm just getting started," Alec declared.
Upon hearing Alec's voice, Cruz decided he couldn't wait any longer and attempted to slip away.
However, Alec had saw this and had the two golems intercept Cruz, setting the stage for a fierce second round confrontation with the deacons of the Evil sect.
The deacons began to notice a decrease in the commotion outside, indicating that the battle was nearing its conclusion.
And they knew that if Alec's golem had killed all their enforcers, then it wouldn't be long before they, too, would meet the same fate as their enforcers.
With this realization, they made the unanimous decision to give it their all, even those who had been holding back now brandished their weapons.
"We must prevail, once we defeat him, the golems will cease to function, just imagine the knowledge and power we could gain from his body, we will be unstoppable with his spells and skills, we shall be known as the all-powerful!"
The Priest's words swayed the mages, urging them to stand firm in their resolve, he knew the risks of most of them attempting to flee, like Cruz had done, as it would lead to their remaining mages demise.
Therefore, he could only motivate them with the promise of attaining Alec's level of power upon his defeat.
However, in truth, his intentions were entirely self-serving, his greed knew no bounds, and he coveted everything Alec had for himself.
