The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 443- Reunion After A Year
Chapter 443: Chapter 443- Reunion After A Year
A Grand Escape...
What else could this scene be called?
All over Jianghu, flying treasures of all kinds were rising from the many Sects and Clans before shooting towards the Land of Shadows in the Northeast direction.
These flying treasures were carrying the younger generation of the Continent to participate in the Two Continents Tournament.
For those Sects and Clans that couldn’t afford to carry their disciples using flying treasures, they paid a fee to ride with the larger forces.
Similarly, the Marital Alliance Academy had a few flying treasures of their own that were preparing to carry their disciples to the Land of shadows. All the disciples that had left the Academy were now rushing back to board them.
The boarding had started early in the morning, but even as the sun rose to its zenith signally it was noon, only one of the three flying treasures had been filled with disciples before heading out. There were no signs that showed this process would end soon.
At this moment, Mar-Yue was lying alone on the bed she shared with Sol for the past two weeks. The sun from the window nearby was shining its rays on her, making her delicate face glow with a soft golden hue.
This peaceful scenery was suddenly disrupted by Mar-Yue’s eyes fluttering open. Struck by the sun first thing when waking up, she released a grunt of annoyance.
"Are you finally awake?"
Sol’s voice could be heard saying.
Mar-Yue rolled to the other side of the bed to get away from the sunlight before cracking her eyes open to look at Sol.
He was dressed in the white robes they had bought as a matching set. His curly hair was uncharacteristically tied behind his head while a few strands dangled on each sides of his face.
On his left hand, an ordinary-looking brown wine gourd was hanging from his bracelet. If Mar-Yue hadn’t looked closely she would have thought it was floating there, but rather it seemed it was tied to the bracelet using a strand of hair.
"How do I look?"
Sol asked as he patted down his robes.
Mar-Yue smiled and responded while sitting up.
"It suits you. If you were holding a fan, I might have mistaken you for a Young Master from an affluent family."
"I’ll take that as a compliment."
Sol said as he walked over to Mar-Yue.
Before Sol even reached the bed, she had her arms outstretched. freeweɓnovel.cøm
Sol chuckled when he saw this. He had come to realize after living with Mar-Yue for two weeks that she was a heavy sleeper. She was recovering from her exhausted bloodline so this quirk of hers was extremely exacerbated.
Sol reached Mar-Yue and lifted her out of bed. Mar-Yue yawned before burying her face inside Sol’s chest while hugging him.
Sol returned her hug and rested his chin on her messy hair.
The two silently stayed like that for a moment before Mar-Yue asked softly.
"Is it the day you leave for the Tournament?"
"En... But are you really not going to participate?"
Mar-Yue went silent for a beat before she shook her head.
"I’m not going to participate but it’s not like I won’t be there. I already talked with Eldest Sister and I’m planning to stay with her in the Miura Clan to watch the Tournament."
"Haha, then I’ll have to do my best if you’re going to watch me."
The two separated but Mar-Yue suddenly paused and looked up at Sol with a confused expression.
"Have you grown taller?"
Sol was only half a head taller than her two weeks ago but now he was a full head taller.
Sol was busy patting down Mar-Yue’s messy hair as he responded.
"Hm, perhaps I have."
After somewhat fixing Mar-Yue’s hair, Sol held her cheeks and kissed her forehead.
"I’ll get ready so we can leave."
Mar-Yue said, and Sol nodded.
After some time, Sol and Mar-Yue stepped out of the room in matching white robes.
Fixed in Mar-Yue’s hair was a white hairpin in the shape of a lotus, while a similar color bracelet could be seen around her wrist when her sleeves shifted.
On their way to the front gate, they met Woo-seong who was dressed in the black combat robes Sol had bought him.
When he saw Sol and Mar-Yue approaching hand-in-hand he smiled and gave them a thumbs up.
He was then about to compliment the couple, but a knock suddenly happened on the gate behind him.
"Who is it?"
Woo-seong asked, but there was no response from the gate which made him frown. However, Sol’s eyes suddenly widened slightly, and he stepped forward.
After opening the gate, Sol came face to face with the two half-brothers Cheong-su and Cheong-san.
"Brother Sol."
Sol heard the somewhat taller Cheong-san’s soul messsage echo in his mind.
"It’s good to see the two of you, ha-ha!"
Sol laughed happily as he stepped forward to hug the brothers.
Even though he hadn’t known these two for long, Sol had already considered them, as well as Ji-hoon and the others, as close friends. He was really happy to see them after a year.
Cheong-su and Cheong-san were equally happy as they returned Sol’s hug.
Woo-seong and Mar-Yue stepped through the gate and watched as Sol greeted these two people.
Suddenly, Woo-seong looked to his right to see Byeong-ho leaning against the manor wall. Mar-Yue also glanced over at him with a questioning look on her face.
After greeting the two brothers, Sol quickly introduced them.
"Seong, Mar-Yue, these are my good friends Cheong-su and Cheong-san. They are also sworn brothers of Brother Byeong-ho."
Sol pointed at Cheong-su and Cheong-san before pointing at Byeong-ho.
"Brother Beyond-ho, you all already know Woo-seong."
Byeong-ho glanced at Woo-seong and nodded causally. Woo-seong returned the nod.
"And this beautiful girl here is my Mar-Yue."
Byeong-ho, Cheong-su, and Cheong-san realize the closeness between Sol and Mar-Yue, which cause then yo make some guesses as to what their relationship is.
"Greetings junior sister Mar-Yue."
"Greetings junior sister Mar-Yue."
Cheong-san and Cheong-su greeted.
However, Mar-Yue huffed and said.
"It’s Big Sister Mar-Yue, and what’s with those lackluster greetings, do it again but louder."
Cheong-su and Cheong-san paused momentarily upon hearing that, but Mar-Yue urged.
"What are you waiting for, do you not want to greet me?"
Cheong-su and Cheong-san didn’t know why, but for some reason they found themselves becoming nervous in front of this girl. She really didn’t look older than them, but the aura she radiated was unmistakably that of an older sister. Both brothers found themselves scrambling to greet her once again, this time a bit louder.
"Greetings Big Sister Mar-Yue!"
"Greetings Big Sister Mar-Yue!"
