The court trial proceeded swiftly.

"You little bastard, five years and three months, you must be satisfied now, huh?" An abrasive voice suddenly sounded nearby.

Li Qing turned to look, only to see it was Hu Youqing.

A few relatives of the Hu Family also surrounded him, each staring at Li Qing with a murderous gaze.

"Not being able to put you away too, I do regret that!" Li Qing said icily.

"You annoying little bastard, get lost, don’t hang around we Hu Family," bellowed Hu Youqing arrogantly. "If you have the guts, put me behind bars too. If not, get as far away as possible. Seeing you just pisses me off!"

"Old jerk, it doesn’t look like you call the shots here!" replied Li Qing coldly.

"Get lost!" Hu Youqing punched Li Qing on the arm.

The other Hu Family relatives swarmed up, pointing and spitting as they cursed Li Qing.

Hu Wei, with his plump body, stepped in front of Li Qing and said, "What are you doing? Qingzi is my friend!"

"Friend? What a waste the Hu Family has raised, protecting him even though this little bastard put your father away?!" shouted Hu Youqing harshly.

"My father’s situation is none of your business. Qingzi did nothing wrong," Hu Wei yelled back.

"Pah!" Hu Youqing spat out, "Good-for-nothing, I am your uncle!"

"You take his side instead of mine? Have you gone mad?!"

Calmly wiping the spit off his face, Hu Wei said to Li Qing, "Qingzi, you go ahead."

Li Qing looked coldly at Hu Youqing and the group of Hu Family relatives, then suddenly lay on the ground and started shouting at the top of his lungs, "Assault! Hu Youqing is hitting me!"

"Help! Assault!"

Hu Youqing and the Hu Family relatives froze on the spot.

They all wanted to hit Li Qing, but with Hu Wei standing in front of him, they couldn’t even touch him with a finger.

Hu Youqing’s face was instantly full of smiles, "Officer, it’s this kid who’s falsely accusing us, we didn’t hit him at all!"

"They did hit me!" Li Qing shouted aloud.

"They took advantage of their numbers to throw several punches at me and even said they wanted to kill me."

Until this moment, Li Qing was still lying on the ground.

"You, get up first!" the guard said to Li Qing.

"Officer, I feel like I might not be able to get up," Li Qing said, casting a sidelong glance at Hu Youqing.

Seeing the malicious challenge in Li Qing’s eyes, Hu Youqing jumped up and said, "Officer, he’s being unreasonable!"

"I admit I hit him just now, but it was only one punch."
