The Hero of Hypnosis-Chapter 396: The Army of Flexom
Horisia swung her sword three times, sending three slashes of energy that arced through the air. Each attack had the power of Rauna that would purge demons who were slain by it, and she planned on killing Setton with that power.
"Don’t think this is enough to hurt me!" Setton dodged the first attack, blocked the second one, and punched through the third attack. While it did burn his hand, it was only a slight burn.
His demonic powers grew even more, creating wings and a tail of pure demonic energy.
"Hahahaha! Die!"
The hero and the newly formed demon clashed, fighting with their lives on the line to kill the person who stood in their way. Now that Setton was amplified by demonic energy, he was a lot stronger and deadlier than before.
However, Horisia’s attacks would do a lot more damage this time, and she took advantage of that extremely well.
Her focus was so sharp that it could cut through anything. She saw every attack Setton launched at her, dodged every form of whichcraft he tried to use against her, and attacked perfectly each time.
"Dammit!" Setton was pushed back, but Horisia didn’t give him time to breathe.
She lunged forward, slicing at his chest, forming a deep cut. Setton lept backward, but Horisia stepped on his tail, preventing him from moving any further. Then, she clobbered the man in the face with the meanest punch she had ever thrown in her life.
"Garghhhhh!!!!" Setton crashed into many objects, bounced on the ground like a ball, and was tossing and turning all over the place.
In the corner of his eye, he saw Horisia in the air, about to swing her sword down on him, which would have ended his life. So, thinking fast, he pulled out the chalice, and right before Horisia came down on him, he threw it at her, alighting with the direction of her attack.
"Nooooooo!" Seeing as she was about to destroy a sacred relic, Horisia quickly unsomoned her sword so as not to destroy the sacred item, but that left her open to an attack, something Setton was hoping for.
"Checkmate!" A disgustingly powerful wave of demonic energy blasted into Horisia, injuring her greatly and knocking her out.
Setton, who was barely hanging on, stood up and walked toward the fallen hero and created a blade of darkness.
"Time to die." Settons said with a sinister smirk
"Yeah, you can stop there now," Kai said, finally making his presence known.
When Setton saw that he was there, he froze. He didn’t expect Kai to arrive so soon. No, he didn’t expect him to arrive at all. He hoped he had died in the explosion at the resistance base.
"H-How?! How are you alive?" He stumbled backward, tripping over Horisia’s body, falling on his ass.
"You mean after blowing up the resistance base in an attempt to kill most of the resistance? Well, I am immortal after all."
Osiren’s eyes widened as he realized his sister was there. "K-Kai! My sister!"
"She’s fine, don’t worry." He turned back to Setton. "And so is Sekmala."
Setton gritted his teeth and stood back up. He got into a fighting position. He knew he wouldn’t win, but he wouldn’t go down without a fight.
"Really? You’re going to fight me?" Kai nearly busted out laughing.
Setton summoned every last ounce of power he could. "If I have to, then I will!"
"Pwahaha! Okay. Fine. I’ll humor you." Kai placed Horisia with Osiren, healing her injuries, then turned to face Setton.
The man was already in his face, attacking while his guard was down, but a devilish smirk from Kai made Setton realize that he fucked up.
His chest caved in from a punch so powerful that the ground cracked under Kai’s feet. He was launched so far in the air that he saw where space met the atmosphere, but what truly frightened him was Kai being above him already, slamming him back down to the ground the the same amount of force.
The crater created by Setton’s impact was so large that filling it up with water would create a lake.
He had never felt so much pain in his life before. It was so intense that he couldn’t even cry out in pain. He was wailing silently, his back tensing from the impact. His mouth opened, trying to at least whine, but nothing came out.
"Had enough?" Kai landed in front of the demon and walked over to him with an unbothered atmosphere.
Setton held out his hand, trying to tell Kai to back away, but it fell from the pain he was in.
"This would be the time when I ask you if you have any last words, but I think I’ll just kill you instead."
Right before Kai landed the finishing blow, he paused.
"Hey, Osiren, wanna kill the guy?" He asked
"What?"
"Want. To. Kill. This. Guy? Do I really have to spell it out for you, man?"
"N-No, sorry. And yeah! I really want to kill him!" Osiren’s tattoos glowed as he strolled over to Setton, who was defenseless on the ground.
"This is for betraying us!" He aimed his hand for Setton’s heart, but Kai pulled him back before he could, shielding him from an explosion that could have killed him.
"What is it now?" Once the dust cleared, a large army marched past the border.
"Kill everyone, and rescue Sir Setton!" Soldiers of Flexom and demons swarmed the city in the hundreds of thousands, killing everyone in sight.
The remaining resistance fought back as hard as they could, but they were pushed back with ease.
"Kai, we need to retreat! Take me to the resistance!"
"We’ll hold them off! Get the prince to safety!" A man shouted.
"Hmmm." To make things a little easier for the resistance, Kai grabbed the chalice, tossing it to them, then he swiped his finger, killing a good one-third of the army in an instant.
"Whoa. You’re powerful."
"Let’s go." Kai teleported Osiren and himself back to the resistance base, or at least what was left of it.
