Chapter 704 Fu Juan’s intention It’s been a few days since Fu Juan has been getting divorce papers from her husband and his lawyer. It’s almost like she was being assaulted with it.

During breakfast, she would get her morning papers along with a big brown envelope containing the divorce papers. This happened for three days straight, so she stopped her subscription to the morning papers.

Whenever she came home from work in the evening, she would see the same size of the brown envelope on her bed, or in the closet, and she didn’t need to think twice or ask questions to know that her husband was the one behind it.

If she doesn’t see the envelope containing the divorce papers anywhere in her bedroom, she wouldn’t get too happy because surely, it will be somewhere else in the house which she has daily access to.

The previous day, she saw the divorce papers on the dining table. This time around, there was no envelope, and it was just bare like that. She had thought it was an important document, only to pick it up and discover that it was the divorce papers.

She quickly lost her appetite that night, and she didn’t forget to shred it like the way she has been doing to the previous ones.

She doesn’t want to sign the divorce papers she continued to shred them each time she set her eyes on them.

Today, was a different case, and probably the height of it. Fu Juan had just closed from work and went to the underground parking lot. As she sighted her car and walked towards it, she saw a brown envelope, glued to her using a seal tape.

She looked shocked to see it there. Immediately, she ripped the envelope off her car and opened it to glance at its contents. The divorce papers, were back again, in a grandeur style.

Fu Juan laughed in anger before getting into her car with the envelope. Throwing her bag and the envelope into the back seat of her car, she punched her steering wheel.

It has become obvious to her, that her husband was not afraid of the consequences of his adultery while being married to her. He didn’t care what the law would do and how they will make him pay. He wanted a divorce from Fu Juan to fully embrace his new family, but it looks like he had to think out of the box in other for her to sign the divorce papers, hence, the harassment with the divorce papers.

Fu Juan still was not willing to give him any divorce, but she was tired of his harassment. She couldn’t report him to the police, or the case would get big, and signing the divorce papers wouldn’t be far-fetched.

Not wanting to grant him a divorce and tired of his harassment, Fu Juan thought of a plan and smiled to herself. The smile quickly cleared up her head and anger.

When she got back home, She didn’t wait to change her clothes before making a call to a familiar contact with whom she hasn’t spoken in a while.

Grandfather Fu was in his study when he got a call from his daughter, and the first thought that came to his head was what kind of complaints she had to give him because she can never call to check up on him, unless she wanted something or to complain, which has been a long time since she last did that.

After greeting her aged father, Fu Juan went straight to the point. “Father, I thought to let you know that I will be coming home this weekend to stay for a while.”

Grandfather Fu didn’t ask her any questions and just agreed to it, because he already knew that she must have had a fight with her husband and wanted to escape for a while.

After the call ended, the old man turned to his butler to ask, “How is the relationship between Juan and her husband?”

”Sir, you asked me not to bother about her anymore, so I haven’t been keeping an eye on them. But I can get you the information in an hour.” Butler Li said to him.

”Leave it. She will be coming this weekend, and then I will find out the matter.” Grandfather Fu said and went back to his work.

He had forgotten that he asked Butler Li not to bother about Fu Juan anymore since she doesn’t listen and had also rejected his assistance back then.

As for Fu Juan, she immediately dialed another contact after the call with her father, which happened to be the same person she spoke with after her last fight with her husband. And this time around, she called out her name…

”Lanying, it’s time to officially introduce you to my family. We are going to the Fu house this weekend to live temporarily so, if you need help with packing your things, I will send over two servants that will assist you.”

The person on the other side must have rejected her help because the next moment, Fu Juan reminded her to call her if she needed help.

”Let’s see where you send the divorce papers to…” Fu Juan said to herself.

That night, she called all the servants and cautioned them. She told them that she was going to someplace to stay for some days, and they shouldn’t say anything to her husband unless he asked about her location.

There was no way Fu Juan was going to give the servants more information other than the fact that she was going to stay away for some days so that if her husband asked, they wouldn’t have much information to give to him.

During dinner at the Fu house, Grandfather Fu announced that Fu Juan would be coming over that weekend. He also asked Fu Hee to get the servants to clean her bedroom.

This kind of announcement was a big surprise to the family because Fu Juan has ever acted this way before, and she only comes over when there is an occasion or celebration in the family. Apart from that, she doesn’t come home to stay without anything important going on in the family.
