Su Yunjin kicked out, and Gu Ya reacted quickly, swiftly grabbing the little wife’s foot that was kicking over.

"Who’s telling you not to get up?" Su Yunjin mumbled. It wasn’t entirely her fault; if Gu Ya hadn’t been holding her down, she wouldn’t have raised her foot to kick him.

Gu Ya released the little wife’s foot he was holding, his tone indifferent, "So you’re saying, even after kicking me, you still think you’re in the right?"

"...." Su Yunjin remained silent. Speaking now would be tantamount to adding fuel to the fire. It wasn’t that she feared Gu Ya, but every time she angered him, his ways of punishing her were always... indescribably unique.

Su Muze agreed with Guo Qiulan, holding the freshly bathed wife in his arms, feeling a mix of tenderness and satisfaction.

It seemed like whenever the woman in his arms asked for something, he couldn’t help but agree without hesitation. The feeling was one he had only ever experienced with Xiao Yu before, and now, his feelings for Guo Qiulan were just the same as they were for Xiao Yu back then.

With Su Muze’s agreement, Guo Qiulan joyfully embraced her husband.

A smug smile curled on Guo Qiulan’s lips; she had expected that Su Muze wouldn’t resist her request, so long as she put in some effort in front of him.
