Klaus and the ladies left the Insect Domain and appeared inside the room they were in. Since the death night was moved into the cube, the heavens lost track of him, and so the sky cleared, and everything went back to normal.

Klaus planned on getting a good night's sleep for the next few hours.

However, the moment they appeared in the room, the voice of despair entered his head. This made Klaus smirk and choose to check what he wanted.

"Ladies, I will be going somewhere now. Don't miss me too much." The demon face bead appeared in his hand, and after he kissed all of them, he vanished inside.

"Just how many of these items does he have?" Miriam asked, looking at the bead now hovering inside the room.

"Our man is really full of secrets... It makes me wonder if he is secretly an immortal in disguise," Nia muttered, causing her sisters to also start wondering.

"Whatever. Even if he is the Demon King himself, I love him and will always love him," Asha said with a smile.

The ladies shook their heads and started to wait for him to come out so they could put him to a good sleep.

Meanwhile, Klaus appeared inside the demon face bead. However, instead of meeting only one person, this time, he was greeted by five people or more like Dragons, each exuding an aura of danger.

They were the five Monarchs whom his first incarnation had imprisoned years ago. They were in their dragon forms, and each was looking down at him with a pressure that could shatter the will of anyone.

"Welcome, Paragon," the Monarch of Despair said, making Klaus sigh as he focused his attention on him. He was now taking on the right color meant for him: green.

That was the true color of despair. It was just the eye of malevolence that altered it.

"You asked for me, Monarch, so why the intimidation tactics?" Klaus said, looking at the other four he was meeting for the first time.

Though he has two dragons, the ones looking at him are anything but simple. They are terrifying, and the feeling of danger can be sensed in them.

"They wanted to test your will to see if you are the same Paragon they knew," Despair answered, causing Klaus to smile.

"How did I do?" he asked.

"You are barely average... but we can work with that," the Monarch of Discord said, causing Klaus to frown.

However, his expression returned to calm as if he had gained clarity.

'His confused nature is really something to envy,' Klaus sighed again.

This time, he knew he must hold his emotions in check, or else the Monarch of Discord would make him do or say things he wouldn't naturally do.

The power of discord is something he planned on getting from the moment he realised he could get three skills from each of the five monarchs.

Stopping for a few minutes to talk with his opponents will be useful. He can plant the seed of discord in them and watch as it bloom.

Oh, what a sight that would be.

"We indeed called you here to ask a few questions, and if the answers are satisfactory, we will know how to proceed."

"I am listening," Klaus nodded.

"First, what can you tell us about the forbidden creature that just underwent its first evolution?" Despair asked.

Though they can't always see everything on the outside, if Klaus allows it, they will be able to see.

However, this time, Klaus didn't allow them that access. But something strange played a part, allowing them to see everything.

This means they saw and knew exactly what happened.

"It was a Puppet Ant a few weeks ago; however, after its evolution, it has become a Death Knight," Klaus answered, not making things too lengthy for either of them.

"Then how did it undergo the evolution? We all know forbidden creatures don't have the blessing of the heavens, so they wouldn't evolve no matter what.

However, that creature had just evolved and wasn't a small one. If I am not mistaken, that creature has become something akin to a divine beast of this known universe.

How did that happen."

The Monarch of Starvation asked, showing Klaus he knew what he was talking about.

"It's very simple, actually. I just gave him my blood," Klaus casually answered, causing the five dragons to turn and look at each other.

"Are you being serious?" Despair asked.

"I wouldn't lie about something like this. My blood evolved him, making him a creature under the dominion of the Paragon Star I used to trap you five.

This means the heavens will send down the Annihilation Tribulation when he appears in the known universe. But the moment he passes that tribulation, the heavens won't be able to do anything to him again."

They looked stunned. The answer they just heard from Klaus was like what they have been waiting for all these years.

"This is a game-changer. With this, we can go back out there without the heavens' intervention," Anarchy said, and the rest nodded.

They knew it was his blood that transformed the ant into the Death Knight. But hearing him say it without lying showed he held no animosity toward them.

This means they can continue with the next phase of their meeting.

"We would like to renegotiate our deal with you," Harrows said, making Klaus raise an eyebrow.

"Renegotiate, you say? So, I suppose you want me to give you my blood and, in the end, release you from here?" Klaus asked, and the five nodded.

"We will change the terms of the deal, and if you agree, we will listen to your proposal, which, if it's not below our bottom line, we will accept," the Monarch of Despair said.

"I suppose that can be arranged. But before any negotiations, you all must know that the moment you take my blood, you will be bound to me forever. This means I will be like your master."

"We don't care, provided you promise not to abuse your authority," Anarchy said, causing Klaus to nod.

"Then I will listen to your proposal, and afterward, I will make my demands."

"Very well. First, we would like to have your blood, which we plan to use to evolve. This is a must, for it's the only thing we can count on now.

Second, we ask to be released from here right when our tribulation arrives, and whether we pass or not, you won't be affected.

Third, I know this is a hard ask, but you will take us far from this world so that our evolution won't affect your world. This means you will have to brave the dangers of space travel. But don't worry, we will protect you.

The return will be something you will have to handle on your own.

Lastly, you must promise you won't use the authority you will be gaining to destroy us. Though we were powerful before, it's been billions of years, so we have regressed to a pitiful stage now.

But we can still be regarded as powerhouses, so we ask for your cooperation in not abusing your power by letting us go.

In return, we promise to help you in the future if you need it. We are Monarchs, so it's only a matter of time before we rise back to the level we once were."

Klaus listened to their proposal thoughtfully. Their demands were within an acceptable range. However, he had one question.
