The Lust Lord Librarian-Chapter 43: Decapitation
Adal woke up the next morning with a smile on his face.
After witnessing the success of both his novel and play the prior day, he was forced to hire a financer.
He had ended up with more money than he knew what to do with, and he only suspected that more would start coming.
This financer was a young lady named Vinny, who worked at the Bank of Fairwhite. She was a black-haired girl, eighteen years old, and always dressed in an all-black suit.
She was now in charge of handling all of Adal’s investments.
That morning, as Adal sat with her before the library’s opening, she discussed the finer details of his finances.
It was then that Adal realised, he liked words, not numbers.
He dismissed her swiftly, putting his entire faith in the young, ambitious lady.
She too had heard of Adal’s great success, so she was excited to be working with him.
...
The moment she left, the two guards in pink reappeared right beside him.
He had almost forgotten about the pair, but today, they seemed different. More tense.
"It’s time." The male orc spoke in a low voice.
As soon as the words left his lips, Adal felt a shift in the air around him.
A white oval-shaped light stretched impossibly through space, appearing on a tabletop in front of him.
Adal scrutinised it carefully.
"An Outer Realm Gate. So the trial is done then?"
He felt on edge for the first time in a while.
Had his great luck finally come to an end?
Rather than answering his questions, the guards each grabbed hold of Adal’s arms and leapt through the gate.
...
Same as before, Adal emerged from the gate only a moment later, standing on the red carpet of King Elios’ throne room.
The place looked the same as before.
The king sat on the throne with his dishevelled hair, and his pink bear pelt draped over his shoulder.
Standing beside him was the glorious Opal Overheart, whom he had not seen in a while. Her pink eyes seemed to glow with joy as she saw him.
Standing at the bottom of the platform were the two brothers, Bravo, and Virtue.
Virtue wore a smile on his face, and a longsword in his hand, whilst Bravo... was in chains.
His hands were chained together, as though he had been arrested by a policeman back on earth.
"The trial has concluded, Young Alexandrus," the King spoke. "We dove into the situation and found that my son has not only been sleeping with dwarves, but also feeding them information. Just this morning, one of our borders was attacked by a dwarven party, acting on the information that only a Prince would know."
Bravo hung his head in shame as he was pushed to his knees by his younger brother.
The other guards in the rooms seemed to be pleased with the outcome.
So, I have won...
There was no room for traitors in the Iglantis Kingdom.
"So, what is to be done, your highness?" Adal asked, trying not to show the pleasure in his voice.
Before the words could even fade from the air, Virtue lifted his sword, swung it down, and took his brother’s head from his shoulders.
It landed on the ground with a thump and rolled over to where Adal stood. The lifeless eyes stared up at him, as blood squirted from the neck.
Virtue was out of breath, riled up from the killing. He wiped sweat from his forehead and ran his hand through his neat pink hair.
"To hell with you, brother." He spat on his corpse.
Adal had seen death before. He had even experienced it on earth himself.
Yet to see a man kill his brother so easily, shook him. Only slightly.
Virtue made his way over to Adal and sheathed his sword. Then, he reached out and shook Adal’s hand in a strong grip.
"Welcome to the family, brother." He smiled.
Adal found that he immediately liked the man. He hoped that Virtue would not have secrets that he would eventually have to expose too.
Before Adal could respond, the king’s voice bellowed through the room.
"Whilst Adal’s words have been proven true, and the cancer has been removed from our family, Adal still has to prove himself."
Everyone turned towards the king.
"Not only has he sworn to get rid of the Royal Family of the Torn Kingdom for us, but he has also promised that he will introduce literature to our world, providing the Iglantis people with a new source of knowledge and entertainment... A Library has been constructed, and I would have Opal show you there... As for the Royal Family, I trust that you are making progress?"
No, none at all. I have been too busy seducing milfs and writing plays.
"Of course, your highness."
The wrinkled king smiled for the first time.
"Good. Opal, show him the library."
---
It was the first time that Adal had seen outside of the Iglantis Palace.
They had emerged into the capital city of the kingdom, Antarctica City.
Antarctica was a city covered in snow and ice. Located in the northern area of the human lands. It’s people were dressed in animal pelts and thick furs.
Despite being a modern city with buildings and streets as well developed as those in Fairwhite City, Iglantis felt more tribal.
The Iglantis people seemed rougher around the edges, and more primal.
What stood out most to Adal, was the fact that he often saw white-haired children on the streets, playing around with magic for fun. Blasting fireballs at snowmen and casting thunder from small clouds.
"Are you overwhelmed?" Opal asked as they walked through the city side by side.
She had a smile on her face. She had, ever since Adal won the trial. Her brothers death clearly didn’t bother her.
"No, not overwhelmed. Just the city is so different from what I am used to." Adal responded.
Opal chuckled, cute and innocent.
"I know. That’s how I felt when I arrived in Fairwhite City... I’m happy that you are here, Adal. I am happy that it was my brother losing his head, and not you."
Adal hardly got nervous, but he had to admit that her words were cold.
When in her own realm and identity, Opal felt like a true princess.
As they passed, children and adults bowed, recognising her as their princess. As for Adal, they shot the unfamiliar human strange glances.
Yet, nobody knew that Adal was the only man who had seen the real side of Princess Opal.
The side that required a certain amount of lust to survive.
The side who used vibrators to pleasure themselves, and received his cock from behind on all fours.
"We are here."
Drawn from his lustful thoughts, Adal looked up to find a library in front of him. It was double the size of his library back at home.
