The Lust Lord Librarian-Chapter 9: Jealousy
After the tea was successfully brewed, Adal and Juliette headed back down to the lounge area where John was sitting, looking at his watch.
As he spotted them arriving, he tapped it.
"Ten minutes to make me a cup of tea. Tsk... This is why I hire servants."
The man took his cup from the tray and rose to his feet. Afterwards, he used his free hand to take Juliette’s.
"We have wasted enough time. We will save the tour for another day."
With that, the man left the library, not bothering to return the cup.
As they left, Juliette looked back over her shoulder towards Adal. There was a look in her eyes telling him that she didn’t want to leave, but had to.
Don’t worry, it’s only a matter of time before you’re with me.
...
Adal’s Lust Lord class had now reached level four, granting him the option to select a new skill/upgrade.
An option unlike any of the others he had been offered so far popped up. That was because it seemed to be able to be used in battle, and was an extension of his previously earned skill, Lust Meter.
It was called Pleasure Extraction.
What it allowed him to do was draw the pleasure out of women’s bodies, and turn it into physical mana that he could control.
The only rules were that he had to have played a part in causing this woman’s pleasure.
At first, Adal was going to ignore the skill. He thought he would have no need for fighting.
However, recently he had heard whispers from the villagers about an increased number of bandit raids, and even animal attacks on the city outskirts.
He decided that it would be important to stack up some physical skills.
But in order to use this, I will need to keep a woman by my side, ready to be pleasured at all times.
This gives me even more reason to build my harem.
...
Adal spent the rest of the day organising his shelves and helping out customers.
As usual, the customers were mostly elderly people and scholars. Until a familiar face walked in.
The green-haired Penelope entered the Library, with a young man by her side.
Whilst the man was also a noble, it was clear in all ways that Penelope was of a higher status than he.
It almost seemed as though the man was following behind her, rather than walking with her. He constantly tried to talk to her, but her eyes were scanning around, looking for someone else.
Her eyes landed on Adal, and seemed to light up.
Adal expected the woman to approach him, but instead, she suddenly started paying attention to the man with her.
She led him to a row of shelves. The history section.
Since when were whores interested in history?
Adal ignored the pair and continued his work. Whatever she was playing out, he had no intentions of falling for it.
Then, he heard a moan.
"Mhmm, yes..."
It was a quiet moan, but just loud enough for him to hear from where he was.
Most importantly, it sounded awfully fake.
Adal positioned himself so that he could peek through the shelves he was currently working on, and see what was going on.
In the History isle, he spotted the nobleman with his hand up Penelope’s dress, moving backwards and forwards.
Adal could immediately tell that the man had no idea what he was doing.
This was confirmed when he checked the man’s sexual history.
[Rupert Grey’s Sexual Partners]
[N/A]
He was a virgin. Penelope didn’t seem like the type of woman to entertain a virgin.
As she continued to let out fake moans, Adal checked her Pleasure Meter.
2%
Fake, as I thought.
This was clear from the fact that Penelope constantly looked around, trying to gain attention. Her moans grew louder, as though she were trying to be heard.
When Adal checked her thoughts, this was finally confirmed.
"Come on, Librarian. I know you hear me. You should be jealous that I’m letting this insignificant man explore my body. If you just come out here and admit that you’re attracted to me, I’ll let you do me yourself."
As he read her thoughts, Adal almost chucked to himself.
I see. So that’s what’s going on.
Adal returned to his counter without a care in the world and opened the current book he was reading.
He could still hear the moans in the distance, but eventually they were cut off.
Moments later, he saw Penelope storming out of the library with her cheeks flushed red and her brows furrowed in anger.
The nobleman waddled out soon afterwards, with a look of disappointment on his face.
Adal used the opportunity to approach him.
"Is everything alright, sir?" He asked.
Rupert sighed.
"Ah, just the usual. Relationship issues. Just when I thought I was about to get some play, she walks out on me." He explained.
Adal folded his arms.
He does not even try to hide the fact that he was attempting to lose his virginity in my library?
Afterwards, Adal headed down a row of shelves and urged the man to follow him. He did with hesitation.
Adal arrived at a shelf in the fantasy section, pulled out a large book, and handed it to Rupert.
He looked at its title with confusion.
"A Tale Of Dragons and Ice. What is this?"
"That, my friend, is one of the greatest fantasy novels written of all time. If you read that book, I promise that you will find yourself forgetting about your woman problems."
The sceptical Rupert looked at the book and examined its blurb. Shortly afterwards, he shrugged his shoulders and placed the book under his arm.
"How much do I owe you?" He asked, reaching for his wallet.
"Nothing. Just return the book to me once you have finished."
Rupert shrugged again, thanked the librarian, and left the building.
Meanwhile, Adal had already returned to his counter, preparing for his next encounter.
He hoped it would be another noble, as when nobles arrived, so did opportunities to gain power in the world of Boen.
