The Lust System: Brother, Please Help Me-Chapter 63: Hoping for a good rest
They arrived at the hotel to find it empty. Not that they expected anyone to be there. It was still surprising that in a city of more than a million people, it was hard to come across people.
They secured the main door and chose a suite on the tenth floor. The faded luxury of the hotel made them sigh at the impermanence of life. No one had expected such a thing to happen. Yet, here they were standing in the ruins of doomsday, trying to survive.
For the next hour, no one talked about doomsday. They secured rooms for everyone to have a bath. The hotel had tubs that everyone could bathe in, and Ember supplied the water. They cleaned the grime off their bodies, not worrying about anything.
After having a bath, they gathered together in a suite. They made the decision not to stay too far away from each other. Staying in two suites reduced the likelihood of them having to go too far to rescue someone if necessary. Those who could fit on the bed slept on the bed. Others slept in sleeping bags.
The sense of safety from being so high with no one else in sight washed over them. They wanted to enjoy the moments of peace that the hotel was able to give. They finally fell asleep smiling. If only that peace had lasted for more than an hour.
It was Ivan who woke them up. "Up. Everyone. Now."
The group of seven sat up quickly, alert for whatever was coming. The six newcomers, while slower, put in the effort to move when they saw their seniors already alert. Everyone gripped their weapons.
Aiden and Ember moved to the balcony, peering down onto the street. That’s where they saw them, at least twenty of them. They weren’t zombie. They were people.
Two weeks make them feral. They were acting as if the civilized world ended years ago. They were armed with makeshift weapons, pipes, knives, and broken bottles. The women were almost naked, their bodies smeared with dirt. The men weren’t much better.
In the center of the group, while the others were hammering on the door, a man had a woman pinned against a car. He was thrusting inside her from behind. His movements were rough and brutal. The woman being rutted didn’t show any pain.
Rather, she was clearly enjoying herself. Her head was thrown back in ecstasy. Her mouth opened in a silent scream. She was overwhelmed with the brutal thrusts of the man, but she returned his passion with movements of her own.
"They aren’t here to talk," Aiden said, his voice low and dangerous.
Downstairs, the sound of the door splintering could be heard.
Walking back into the room, Aiden called out, "Newbies, stay here. Lock the door. If you don’t hear us, don’t even think about opening the door."
"I’m leaving these with youso you can take care of yourselves in case of an emergency." Ember released machetes and guns for them to keep on their person.
The seven stepped out of the room, moving as one. As they walked down the stairs silently, they could hear the shouts, laughter, and the wet sounds of the couple still locked in each other’s embrace.
"Ready?" Aiden whispered.
They nodded.
They turned the corner, entering the lobby. The scene was rowdy.
A woman with pink hair stepped out, a grin plastered on her face. "Well, lookie here, we have some friends. Come to join the fun?" She asked with a glass shard in one hand. She cupped her breast with the other, throwing a kiss at Alex.
"Not interested," Adrienne said, her face full of disgust. She held Alex’s arms and pulled him back slightly.
"We don’t mind you having fun here, but don’t involve us. You stay here and we’ll stay in our own room," Ember stated.
A man, bigger than the rest, stepped forward, a machete in his hand. He was the same man who was just having sex with the woman. As soon as he left, another man took his place. His shaft, still hard, jutted out.
"I don’t think that would work. I think you should join the fun." His eyes roamed over Ember, then Adrienne and Sarah. He pointed the machete, "You three can stay. As for the men, leave. We’ll take good care of them."
He spoke as if he expected them to follow his order to the letter. It could be seen that he had been in a position of authority for a while, and he had let the power go to his head. He saw Ember’s group unarmed and smaller in number and decided they were easy pickings.
The man stood in front of them with a confident grin on his face. He didn’t know that his sentence just sealed his fate.
Aiden chuckled low. He stepped forward. "If you think you can touch them, give it a try."
The man gestured for his people to move. They dashed forward to attack and capture.
Aiden was a force of nature; he charged forward. He sidestepped the machete swing, launching his elbow into the leader’s jaw. He followed with a blow to the throat. He then threw his knee into the man’s thigh. The crack each time he moved could be heard in the room.
A woman lunged towards Ivan with a broken bottle. He blocked the hand coming towards him and used his knife to slit her wrist, cutting the tendon.
Marcus grabbed a man by the throat, slamming him into a marble pillar. He then grabbed another, twisting his body and throwing him across the room.
Alex and Adrienne fought back-to-back. Alex used his strength to counter and black attacks while Adrienne used an iron pipe to target knees and elbows.
Sarah was the most surprising. Her hands moved with precision. She used her knowledge of anatomy to incapacitate anyone who got close. She collapsed windpipes and severed nerves.
The fight was over before it began. Their enemies were on the floor, moaning, whimpering, and writhing in agony. The seven stood in the center of the lobby, adrenaline coursing through their bodies.
"Let’s go," Aiden said.
They felt it before they saw it. The woman who tried to hit Ivan with the bottle previously crawled across the floor, trying to get to a shard of broken glass. They felt her urge to kill. At the same time, the leader, with his shattered jaw and broken leg, began to move across the room.
"They still want to fight," Ivan said incredulously.
"They won’t stop," Marcus replied.
It only took a split second to make the decision. Since they won’t stop until they are killed, their group had no choice but to do what was necessary to ensure their own safety.
"Take them out," Aiden said, his voice tight.
The order came, and they advanced. This was no longer a fight. It was an execution. Aiden didn’t blink as he sent the leader crashing to the floor before sending his boot down on his head. The leader was dead before he could make a sound.
Ivan used his knife to cut the woman’s throat. Marcus grabbed the two men from earlier, smashing their heads together. The sound of their skulls cracking was loud.
The rest of the people from the enemy team died one by one under the weapons of Ember’s group. Even the couple who were still having sex in the chaos were killed. The man’s neck was slit by Ivan, and the woman’s neck was broken by Aiden.
When it was over, the smell of blood was thick in the air. Their bodies were covered in blood to varying degrees. Ember was the first to cross the line when she killed the woman who was going to hurt Alex. Now they have all crossed the line.
Although they killed people in the simulation, it was different for them now, knowing that this was real. These were people who couldn’t materialize after the fight.
"We need to leave. Now," Aiden’s voice was devoid of emotion.
They didn’t bother to wash up. They gathered the newcomers and left the hotel. The faces of the newcomers when they saw the massacre were a mixture of fear and awe.
That morning, after they left. A set of people arrived at the hotel. A young woman walked in front. Her demeanor was arrogant, as if she held the world in the palm of her hand.
"Is this where those beggars went?" she asked as she saw the corpses on the ground. "A waste of resources."
She turned around, heading back to her convoy. As soon as she got into the car, she was swept onto a man’s lap.
"Did you find them?" he asked, voice hoarse.
The woman shifted, her dress hiked up to her waist. When she sat, she felt her pussy being stretched by the hard cock of the man under her.
She sighed as she rolled her hips. "Found it. But they’re dead."
The man grunted as he bucked upwards. "Just as tight as always, Valentina," he murmured.
Bucking into her once more her said, "Just find some more. Don’t let them escape this time."
