The Lust System: Brother, Please Help Me-Chapter 75: Harvesting Haven

Valentina left The Spire, her base, with a convoy of black SUVs. Inside the lead car, Valentina’s gaze was fixed on the road. She was thinking about her past life. While she hadn’t struggled, having the system now made her feel that her previous life was superfluous.

A gentle smile appeared on her face. Viktor, who was in the driver’s seat, caught it. His eyes stayed on her a little too long, and she noticed.

"Something you need, Viktor?" she asked.

He didn’t respond, only concentrated on the road again. She smirked. She knew exactly what he wanted. She could see the tent in his trousers. But she would never give him what he wanted. Unless he begged. She wanted to see him beg.

The man who always seemed so far away. In her previous life, he died saving her. Now, he was alive. She had already given him back the life she owed.

She peeked at the tent in his trousers and thought to herself. Maybe he doesn’t need to beg. I might be the one begging if we actually fuck.

When they pulled up to Haven, they were immediately stopped. A procession of SUVs would cause anyone to be wary.

"Are you looking to stay or just passing through?" the person at the gate asked. He nervously looked at their convoy, and his hand twitched slightly.

Valentina noticed. She didn’t say anything. She smiled, wide and friendly. "We’re here to help. I guess you could say we are neighbours. We want to make sure more people survive. In times like this, water isn’t clean, so we decided to offer a few water purifiers."

The man observed Valentina. Her smile appeared innocent, but he knew by now that many things aren’t as they seem. He picked up a walkie-talkie and reported to his superiors. Soon, sound crackled through the walkie-talkie.

"Let them in," a voice sounded.

Although skeptical, he still let them in. He watched the convoy leave and wondered if there was anything else they might be doing.

Valentina and her team drove until they found a large building at the center of the camp. Someone was standing outside. A tall, wiry man wearing glasses. His eyes were gentle. But Valentina did not think of him as gentle. Anyone able to survive now has some tricks up their sleeve.

Approaching the man, Valentina reached out to shake his hand. He looked down at her hand but did not take it. Valentina raised an eyebrow. She did not take it to heart. Before long, he would be part of her experiment. She decided she would not be angry with someone lower than herself.

"Why did you choose us?" His question was blunt. He did not introduce himself; he only wanted their purpose.

"Humanitarianism?" Valentina questioned.

He didn’t laugh. Not that she expected him to.

"We have more than enough. I was lucky enough to leave City D. The place is a wasteland. There aren’t many people left. I thought that since I had something I could use to help, I would help a few people. You aren’t the only ones." She put a strand of hair behind her ear and twisted her fingers slightly, trying to look nervous.

When she said he wasn’t the only one, it technically wasn’t a lie. If this worked, she planned to do it to others.

"You only need to accept them. I won’t ask for anything else." She gestured to Viktor and the others. "We have people on our team who can help you install them if you want. We’ll leave when we’re sure it works."

The skepticism in his eyes only grew the more he listened to Valentina. She could see it. She wondered what made a man who looked so gentle, so paranoid. Still, she wasn’t afraid. There was no way for them to detect the aphrodisiac. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

It was dried on the purifier. All they need to do is drink water to become her little pets. She almost giggled when she thought about it.

"The water supply needs to be purified. You can’t have your people drinking dirty water. What if something happens to them?"

This caused his eyes to soften momentarily. Valentina smiled, knowing she hooked him.

"Come in. Don’t cause trouble for me."

"Don’t worry, we only need toset it up and leave. We still have other places to visit." Valentina responded.

It took some convincing, but she finally got them to install it. She watched it being installed and even had a glass of water before she left, for good measure. It would not affect her. It was unlikely to affect the others too much.

They lived close enough for her to observe their changes after one drink.

Leaving, she couldn’t help smiling. She even decided to give Viktor a little treat on their way back. Her jaw ached when she arrived at her base. She realized the man had great control, and it piqued her interest.

She wondered briefly if it was a side effect of them drinking the water once. If it were, she might need to have Mark drink some.

Two days later, she got a report from her scouts. The people in Haven were acting...strange. They were irritable, their bodies flushed. They were hot in a way that no amount of cold water could fix.

A few days later, the reports were more concerning. People were almost climbing walls, clamouring for sex. They couldn’t sleep. They wouldn’t eat. The only thing that concerned them was getting their fix. And even then, they had a hard time actually finishing.

Valentina laughed when she heard this. The scouts she sent out really took their job seriously. They even knew whether or not the people of Haven were able to have orgasms.

She appreciated the thorough job, however. She would think of a way to reward them when they came back.

She thought to herself that she would wait a little longer before going back. She wanted to know how extreme everything would get.
