The Master Programmer-Chapter 125: You Lost a Good Man 2.5
Celine’s smile grew wider as her curiosity deepened. This man Jason... was he not supposed to be broke right now? Samantha had told her about him, and how much of a mystery he was. She was starting to understand why Samantha was so enamoured with him. She began gesturing to her people to get it done. And it didn’t take long.
Minutes later, the paperwork was signed, and Jason held the keys to the car. Meanwhile, the man beside Amanda stood at the side, his information being taken in as he promised to never enter the store ever again. After all, it turned out his credit had been limited by his father. He could not pay double the price Jason had paid meaning that he had been kicked out forever.
In those last moments, before he left, Amanda’s gaze lingered on Jason who was surrounded by two beautiful blue-eyed women who smiled at him and gazed at him with respect and interest.
She gritted her teeth in anger and frustration, vowing to show him something one day. She also reminded herself to check on Jason’s situation with those four idiots who had been lying to her all this time. Jason was no convenience store worker. He was a literal director at a company for the Ellis Family!
The man gawked, his earlier bravado evaporating like smoke. "This… this can’t be real," he muttered. "Amanda said—"
"Amanda was wrong," Samantha interrupted sharply, her icy blue eyes locking onto Amanda’s. "Maybe next time, you’ll think twice before underestimating someone... or taking someone’s word for reality."
Amanda swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper. "Jason…"
Jason didn’t look back. He stepped into the driver’s seat, and Samantha slipped into the passenger side with an easy smile. Jason looked at this woman with an odd look. What was she doing there?
"Come on, Jason. Let’s go." Samantha said with a smile, leaning back like she owned the car and Jason was the driver. Seeing her smirk like that, Jason also smirked, shaking his head. The engine roared to life, the sound powerful and undeniable, just like Jason himself.
As the car pulled away, Celine stood near the glass doors, her arms crossed, watching them disappear down the road. Her lips curled into a slow, thoughtful smile.
"So… Jason Cross is the reason my sister’s been so distracted lately," she murmured to herself, her tone filled with intrigue. "How very interesting. Sister… he’s too young for you. And he’s too charming. Take care of yourself..."
Celine turned to the salesman who had tried to bother Jason before, her expression hardening in an instant.
"Fire this idiot," she said, and then gesturing toward the man who had caused the scene, she continued, "Kick them out forever."
"Yes Maam!" the guards said and in the next moment, they took the salesman away and the man was also about to be driven away, looking utterly disgusted. Amanda followed him out, her gaze a bit down from the uppity behaviour she had before.
Then Celine’s gaze slid over to Amanda, who still stood frozen in place, humiliated and defeated. Celine’s smile was saccharine sweet as she delivered the final blow. "You’re his ex, aren’t you? How unfortunate." She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly. "You lost a good man."
Amanda’s shoulders slumped as the words hit her like a punch to the gut. She was wrong… Jason was nothing… she knew he was nothing, and yet…
Meanwhile, Jason and Samantha sped down the highway, the city lights blurring into streaks of gold. Samantha leaned back, her gaze fixed on Jason, admiration sparkling in her eyes.

"Where to now?" Jason asked, his voice smooth and low.
Samantha smirked, her hand trailing lazily along the edge of her seat. "Anywhere you want to go. I’m feeling adventurous."
Jason turned to her. Yeah, he was not going to take that bait. "Hmm… I feel like going to the company. I have some work to do… some people to see…"
"Like Mia?" Samantha said flashing Jason a smile that was not a smile. Jason smirked hearing those words. She was so jealous.
"That’s right. Like Mia." He laughed after saying that, eliciting an eye-roll from Samantha. Little did she know Jason was about to drop a bombshell.
"How did it feel watching me fuck her like that that day?" He asked her, keeping his eyes on the road. Samantha turned, gazing at his side profile and sighing. Damn it. Such a handsome face having such dirty words come out of it... She needed to punish him for his actions. Teach him some manners.
Samantha feigned disinterest, sighing even as she bit her lip. "It was disgusting…I dont know what kind of woman would like sex like that." She turned to Jason, spotting the hickey again and felt that pang again. "Does Veronica like rough sex too?"
Jason flinched only just a bit, before smirking. Samantha had said before that she and Veronica were going to meet up. Veronica must have revealed her relationship with Jason. And the surprise from yesterday and the one from this morning must mean, that she was feeling threatened and she wanted to secure her position in his heart.
Jason smirked, turning to Samantha. Veronica’s position was already secured. This one still had some work to do. "A good man never kisses and tells."
"You’re a good man?" Samantha asked in interest, one eyebrow raised as if she was assessing Jason’s words with some wonder in her eyes. "If you’re a good man what does that say about every other good man? I think you need to relax."
Jason laughed when he heard this. And that was also the moment they came to as top at the red light. He turned to her. "That’s right. I’m a good man who won’t kiss and tell…"
Samantha was about to retort, but Jason didn’t let her, grabbing her and kissing her deeply, taking her breath away immediately. Samantha’s arms stood in the air, having a tough time deciding whether to push Jason away or to pull him in and Jason took full advantage of this, exploring her mouth with his tongue, making her moan.
After retracting from the kiss he stared at her, who sat there flushed and panting, and smirked. "How does it feel being the first woman in my car?" he asked her, rubbing his thumb on the side of his mouth and removing some of the makeup on his face thereafter licking it sensually.
Seeing that smirk on his face after taking advantage of her like that, Samantha couldn’t help but frown. This bastard thought he was winning huh...
She smiled. "The first… I might as well be the first who does a lot of things, right?" After hearing those words, Jason leaned into her, not even paying attention to the people in the other car who were watching them with wide eyes.
"Like what?" he said with a smirk, his hot breath hitting her face. Samantha’s eyes looked into his eyes and then fell to his lips before going back to his eyes. The light turned green.
"Like… chritstening this car…" Samantha said, running her hands over Jason’s pants. Jason began chuckling. This woman was crazy. Jason did not think she was serious and he merely turned away and pushed the acceleration. But when she started rubbing his pants more intently, he turned to her, his eyes narrowed.
"Hey Sam, you can’t be serious..." Jason tried saying, his body reacting because of the massive libido he seemed to have these days.
"Keep your eyes on the road," she ordered him her voice a siren’s call that did not allow him to say no to her. Yes Ma’am, was what he thought in his head, as she ran her hand over the now engorged length of his pants. She smirked, leaning into him and putting her lips on his neck.
"It’s a good thing this car has a five per cent tint… Imagine all the great things I could do to you…"
