Chapter 138: Untitled

All the way till they alighted the plane, Ji Zhiyao did not take another glance of the cartoon, neither did he give Mo Huaifeng a good attitude.

Los Angeles’ weather was a little dry, not as humid as S City. The both of them hailed a taxi and headed to the hotel that they had booked beforehand.

The journey took around half an hour and the taxi came to a stop at the entrance of the hotel. Mo Huaifeng pulled out his wallet and paid the fare and tip. When they alighted, the driver even smiled and said to them, “Have a nice trip!”

Mo Huaifeng nodded. “Thanks.”

He alighted, walked towards Ji Zhiyao who had gotten off beforehand, and took one of the suitcases. “Let’s go in.”

Ji Zhiyao nodded and walked side by side with Mo Huaifeng to enter the hotel.

The receptionist was a beautiful Caucasian lady, she wore a uniform that was slightly smaller, appearing especially shapely and extremely alluring.

Yet Mo Huaifeng indifferently gave his name then collected their room keys with his identification. Turning back, he saw Ji Zhiyao with his drifting gaze, unsure of where exactly he should look and almost laughed out loud.

He coughed once, then said, “Our rooms are on the third floor, let’s head up.”

Upon hearing that, Ji Zhiyao instantly looked as if he had gotten an order of special pardon, dragging the suitcases, he bowed and took the room keys in Mo Huaifeng’s hand. “Captain, I’ll open a path for you.”

They took the elevator upstairs.

The rooms that they’d booked were next to each other, single rooms. Ji Zhiyao’s English was only enough for day to day simple conversations, as such Mo Huaifeng even specially instructed that he must stay with him when they were to head out.

Of course Ji Zhiyao agreed.

His Captain was a multi-talented translator, bringing Captain out with him, would very much put him at ease.

Arriving at the front of their rooms, Ji Zhiyao dragged his suitcase into his room, temporarily separating from Mo Huaifeng.

The room wasn’t considered especially big, but it had all that it should, it’s decor was more of a Western style. Ji Zhiyao wasn’t really mindful of the decor items, he only sat himself onto the bed, feeling that it was very soft, he then didn’t have any complaints about the room.

He was to stay here for three days, everything else didn’t matter, he just needed to be able to sleep comfortably.

Ji Zhiyao did some simple unpacking of his luggage, sensing that he was almost done, he grabbed his room key, carried his backpack and went to knock on Mo Huaifeng’s door.

However, no one opened the door even though he had been knocking for quite some time, Ji Zhiyao naturally felt a little odd. But it was impossible that Mo Huaifeng would leave him behind and go out alone, hence he continued waiting for some time, he leaned into the room’s peeping hole and secretly peeked inside.

Though he couldn’t see anything, he still persisted in looking into it for very long.

A few minutes passed, Ji Zhiyao had just shifted his eye away from the peeping hole when he heard a click, the door opened.

“Cap…”

Ji Zhiyao’s elated voice broke off abruptly.

He took a step back, looking slightly panic-stricken at the good physique with the six packs that was still dripping with water before him.

Both of them stared at each other speechlessly for a while, Mo Huaifeng was the first to turn around, his voice soft and hoarse. “Come in first, I just finished showering, it’s a little cold with the door open.”

Ji Zhiyao swallowed his saliva, entered the room with extreme difficulty and closed the door.

He instinctively tugged tightly on the strap of his backpack as he laughed dryly. “Captain, what habit of yours is this? Why do you shower when you reach the hotel?”

Mo Huaifeng was still drying his hair, he glanced at him upon hearing that. “We just got off the plane, don’t you feel uncomfortable not showering?”

Ji Zhiyao had originally felt fine, now that Mo Huaifeng had said it, he suddenly felt itchy all over. He awkwardly twisted his back, then dashed out, with no mind for his hunger. “Captain, I’ll go back for a shower first, I’ll come find you in a while.”

Mo Huaifeng was speechless.

Hearing the sound of the door closing, he looked down and glanced at his abs and the towel that covered below, then smiled without a sound.

Ji Zhiyao finished his shower and stepped out of the bathroom while drying his hair. Walking to the front of the ceiling-to-floor mirror, he stopped in his steps and looked toward his flat stomach in the mirror.

The skin was very white, but there was none of the beauty of a male physique.

… Captain was undoubtedly an internet-addicted youth like him, where did his abs come from?

How infuriating.

Ji Zhiyao walked away from the mirror with grief and lamentation, standing by the bed to put on his clothes.

After changing into a fresh set of clothes, he picked up his backpack again, headed out and went to knock on Mo Huaifeng’s door.

This time Mo Huaifeng opened the door very quickly.

Ji Zhiyao examined Mo Huaifeng’s physique from top to bottom, thinking he was being very secretive, especially at the stomach, his gaze could not help but remain for an extra few seconds. After examining, he voluntarily sighed deep down, while saying at the same time, “Captain, I’m dying of hunger. The airplane meal sucked, I wasn’t even full from it.”

Mo Huaifeng calmly concealed the smile in his eyes, he picked up the wallet and phone from the table, pulled out the room key and put it in his wallet, then said lazily, “Let’s go, we’re going to get dinner.”

As they expected to be too exhausted from the flight on the first day, both of them did not plan on going out and hence did not go walk too far out, directly eating at a western restaurant nearby.

After dinner, they returned to their own rooms.

Ji Zhiyao sprawled out on his bed and played with his phone.

[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: Today, like the skies of Los Angeles, I’m missing you.]

[KisExtremelyHandsome: What the f*ck, Nuo you bastard shut up. You’re sitting with such a decent expression beside me, how think you come up with such coquettish words?]

[ManagerYuanWei: I’m about to puke from being disgusted.]

[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: You guys are obviously jealous of my good looks and intelligence. Captain and NoHomo did you two see my previous message? Help me bring a perfume back will you, xoxo.]

[XiaoFeiCannotFly: Perfume…]

[Xiao: Perfume?]

[MelonRind: Perfume? Brother, what do you want it for? We haven’t gotten the championship for the national qualifiers, even if you want to pick up girls, no one will pay attention to you, quickly sober up.]

[Heng: HAHAHAHAHAHA NoHomo are you a demon!]

[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: Faints, when did I say that the perfume was for my own use! Mother’s Day is coming, do you guys have some bit of conscience or not?]

[DB.MHF: That’s a very nice thought. But I suggest you think carefully about what gift you should give me before Father’s Day.]

[LittlePrinceDominatingTheNorth-East: Captain is the number of sons you have still considered little? Why must you take advantage of me.]

[KisExtremelyHandsome: @MelonRind [mocking] NoHomo, someone’s calling you here.]

[Xiao: What do you guys want to do to my son? Quickly go away.]

[MelonRind: Is this considered being innocently hit by a stray bullet?]

[XiaoFeiCannotFly: Nuo reminded me, brother, when you guys help Nuo to get his perfume, do get a bottle for me too. I haven’t gotten a gift for my mum till now.]

Hence the entire WeChat group that almost strayed from its original topic was forcefully brought back to it again by Xiaofei.

Everyone in the group started discussing about the gifts to get for their officers for Mother’s Day. Ji Zhiyao watched as they argued to death and was about to start a fight and twitched the corner of his lips speechlessly, deciding to go scroll Weibo and Tieba for a while before returning in a while to take note of what he had to buy for them.
