The Only Spatial Ability User In The Apocalypse-Chapter 87 Two-tailed Fox
When Sylas cautiously observed the mutated fox, both of them looked at each other, neither taking the initiative to attack first.
The fox's huge tails swayed in the air beautifully. It looked straight out of some fantasy world.
Sylas was captivated for a moment and suddenly realized the fox was right in front of him.
Sylas' pupils constricted, and he immediately retreated back.
'What the hell was that?' Sylas thought with a shocked expression. The fox seemed to have been far away but within a second, it was near him.
What kind of trick is that?
An illusion?
Sylas thought as he looked at the fox cautiously.
The fox missed the target, but it didn't get angry. Instead, it landed gracefully on the ground.
It raised its chin slightly at Sylas and narrowed its foxy eyes. Then, it lightly raised the corner of its mouth. The fox's facial expression looked like a person giving a haughty expression with an arrogant smirk.
Sylas almost popped his eyes out seeing the fox's expression. It was too human-like.
Unbelievable. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
The fox walked slowly and gracefully. Sylas immediately raised his space barrier. He found the mutated fox weird.
The fox didn't look like a predator hunting for prey. Instead, it looked like it was playfully teasing another creature.
'Something feels off,' Sylas thought with a frown. He could feel that the fox was very strong, but it didn't attack Sylas violently, and he couldn't sense any killing intent from it.
The fox once again lunged at Sylas. This time, Sylas was already prepared. The fox's paws landed on the space barrier gently, and sensing the barrier, it elegantly twisted its body and landed on the ground gracefully.
What the hell is this fox trying to do? Sylas thought.
This time, Sylas didn't wait for the fox to attack him. He condensed several spatial blades at one go and sent them out, aiming at the fox's vital parts.
The fox didn't panic. It twitched its pointed ears as if sensing the invisible blades. When the blades came near it, it dodged the spatial blades smoothly and precisely. Its body twisted softly as if it were boneless.
Sylas raised his brows, looking at the fox. The fox simply didn't look like a violent mutated animal looking for prey.
Is it possible that it's not a mutated animal but something else?
Another entity similar to that strange man in a black robe?
An otherworldly creature?
So many questions popped up in Sylas' mind. The fox was just too pretty and elegant to be associated with violent and bloodthirsty mutated creatures.
Sylas didn't let his guard down even though the fox looked weak and soft. He took the initiative to attack once again. He stomped his foot on the ground, and earth energy quickly surged out. The ground beneath the fox trembled, and several stone spikes shot out from the ground, attacking the fox.
At the same time, Sylas also condensed several compressed spatial blades and attacked the fox.
The fox was attacked on all sides, but it didn't even make a sound. It didn't even look like it was angry. Instead, it swiftly and precisely dodged all the attacks. Its movements were very fast, leaving only afterimages as it dodged the attacks.
Sylas was once again amazed, seeing the fox easily dodging his attacks. The fox didn't seem to panic even when facing the attacks from all sides.
When the fox landed on the ground, Sylas immediately used earth energy to loosen the soil. The fox lightly tapped its foot on the loose soil and jumped back gracefully, landing on the nearby stone boulder.
Then it lightly swayed its tails as it stood on the stone boulder, looking down at Sylas. Sylas had the illusion of being looked down on by the arrogant fox.
Sylas didn't give up; he immediately sent out compressed spatial blades at the fox. The fox swung its fluffy tail, and it immediately covered its body.
The compressed spatial blade struck the fox's fluffy tail, but it was unharmed. The compressed spatial blade disintegrated when it touched the soft fluffy tail.
Sylas was shocked once again seeing the scene.
How could it be?
His spatial blade couldn't cut through soft fur?
What on earth is that fur made of?
The fox removed its fluffy tails from its face and squinted its foxy eyes at Sylas. It didn't seem to take any of Sylas' attacks seriously.
Sylas didn't make any move on the fox again. This time, he simply stood still looking at the fox. He wanted to see what the fox would do.
Seeing that Sylas was not moving, the fox stepped forward with its two big and fluffy tails swaying tall behind it. It then jumped down from the boulder, attacking straight at Sylas. It swung its tails at Sylas mid-air.
Sylas immediately raised a strong space barrier. He raised his hands, and space energy surged out, constantly reinforcing the space barrier because he knew that the tails of the fox were extremely strong.
Bang!
The tails slammed into the space barrier, and it shuddered violently under the impact. Sylas felt his arms go numb, and he was forced to retreat several steps back.
Sylas' arms quivered, and the space barrier suddenly dispersed. Sylas immediately retreated further back.
The fox neatly landed on the ground without even making a noise and looked at Sylas without attacking anymore.
Sylas held onto the nearby tree and looked at the fox.
What is it playing at?
The fox didn't attack Sylas. If it were another mutated animal, it would have already attacked Sylas immediately. But the fox didn't seem to want to kill him.
It was more like it was playing with Sylas.
What does it want? Sylas thought. If it doesn't want to kill him, then what does it want from him?
The fox raised its chin slightly at Sylas as if inviting him to make a move on it.
'Interesting,' Sylas uttered with a smirk. He found that this fox was no ordinary creature. It looked like the fox was probing his strength.
Sylas had no intention of going all out unless his life was in danger. Seeing the fox not taking the initiative to make a move on him again, Sylas also simply stood still without making a move.
"If you are not going to make a move, I won't either," Sylas looked at the fox and said.
Although he didn't know whether the fox understood or not, he simply leaned against the tree and watched the fox.
The fox squinted at Sylas, and after a few seconds, it gracefully sat down on the ground, raised its paw, and started to lick it. Every move of it looked elegant.
"What the...," Sylas widened his eyes in surprise. Looking at the fox's actions, it looked like it was responding to him.
"What an eccentric fellow..." Sylas uttered.
The fox simply paused its actions and gave Sylas a side eye.
"You... you dare give me a side eye?" Sylas stood straight and said, looking at the eccentric fox.
The fox didn't pay attention to Sylas and continued to lick its fur.
Sylas didn't know what to do.
"Fine, if you are ignoring me, then I am leaving," Sylas said and turned his back to leave.
The fox immediately paused its actions and stood up. Then it rushed toward Sylas at a great speed.
Sylas was already vigilant. He immediately turned back and raised a space barrier. But seeing Sylas turning around, the fox immediately stopped in its tracks.
The fox was clearly stopping Sylas from leaving, but it was not attacking either, and it had no intention of killing him.
"So now you are trying to stop me from leaving?" Sylas said, looking at the fox.
The fox slowly walked toward Sylas and started to circle him. Then it occasionally sniffed at Sylas.
"What are you doing?" Sylas said as he looked at the fox circling him and sniffing at him.
"If you don't want to fight, I am leaving," Sylas said.
The fox paused and looked at Sylas.
Sylas had no intention of harming any creatures if they didn't have ill intentions toward him and humans. Seeing that the fox had no killing intent, he didn't want to kill it. Instead, he was worried about Major Kyle and the others on the road.
The fox raised its fluffy tail and swayed it left and right, standing in front of Sylas.
Sylas was getting frustrated. The fox was clearly playing with him. And he was now more or less convinced that this was not an ordinary mutated animal. Although its eyes were red like the mutated animals, they were not bloodshot glowing red. Instead, the fox's eyes were very pretty; its red pupils were like gemstones. Also, it didn't give off the violent aura that the mutated animals gave.
"What in the world are you..." Sylas uttered as he looked at the pretty fox with shiny red fur circling him.
"Are you also attracted to me like those mutated creatures?" Sylas asked.
"Alright, since we have no enmity between us, there is no point in fighting. So I am leaving," Sylas said and once again turned to leave.
The fox raised its head and looked at Sylas' back. Then it also followed after Sylas.
