After capturing Aofie, Wise along with the girls had fled through the skies, leaving the beautiful Ork city of Teasei behind.

Now, they had made camp somewhere in a forest very far from the city. It was already night so they had a large campfire in the center of the camp to both keep them warm and roast meat.

Using his dragon strength, Wise had pulled some trees down and cut their trunks into logs for them to sit, making the camp a bit more comfortable.

Wise knew what was coming before it arrived. He gritted his teeth just as a sudden overwhelming headache came upon him.

His ears were ringing loudly, the only thing he could hear was a loud metallic shrill. He felt blood heat up in his nose as each breath he produced was raspy and forced.

His vision blurred, almost and for a short second he went blind— that was what he thought, but he had simply closed his eyes from the pain.

’Shit.’ Wise managed to curse through gritted teeth. The headache— it was something else. It felt as though his head had been split open and smashed repeatedly with a sledgehammer, slight movements multiplied the pain ten times, so all Wise could do was stare into the distance.

And then it came upon him, knowledge meant to be acquired over years flooding into his mind in an instant.

He saw visions of storms and lightning, violent flares he could not decipher and battles he never fought.

And just when Wise was bringing to wonder if the torment would last forever—

After spitting Aofie out of his mouth, the girls had agreed to bathe later, but no one agreed to offer their legs as a pillow since she was still... wet.
