564 I feel like a whore, really...

"Because I want to sleep here! I'm sleeping with you, duh?"

When those words reached Morris Liu's ears, and his mind processed them, pure silence dawned on the whole private ward. Staring at her determined little face, Morris Liu blinked his eyes many times.

He heard her, right? His ears didn't deceive him or he wasn't hearing nonsense things, right?

"Sleep with me?" Repeating her exact words and ending it with a questioning tone, Morris Liu's brows slightly creased.

"Yes!" Without batting an eye, Churu nodded her head, causing the corner of his brows to twitch. "Though I am only doing this favor because I'm the reason you're lying there now so…" in a matter-of-fact tone, Churu shrugged her shoulder as if she truly believed her offer.

Well, not that she was lying about it. It was just that Churu also needed his life energy tonight; so that the two of them could heal each other.

Apparently, Morris Liu's life force was barely hanging. What it meant was that the reason his health had been unstable was not because he wasn't taking care of his health or anything of the sort. It was because of the Otome Love System; the system where he was granted to have a second chance at life.

However, since the system had an unprecedented change — thanks to Yael's meddling, to the new 'technology' — Morris Liu's life force was slowly fading away. The only way to heal his life force until it would stabilize was Churu.

Therefore, it was a win-win situation for the two of them because Churu's wounds were also healing slightly, and her original strength as well. The only problem was, would he even believe her?

"No," after staring at the pair of argent eyes, Morris Liu declined her ridiculous offer. "Go home." he blankly added.

However, Churu was adamant about her stand as she responded with a resounding, "no!"

Without delay, Morris Liu pressed something which made her brows furrow, "What did you do?" Churu's question was soon answered when a group of nurses rushed in.

"Ha?" Darting her gaze from Morris Liu's stoic front to the cluster of medical professionals intruding, Churu glared at the heartless man. How could he call 'security' on her? Doesn't he have a heart? Didn't he care about her frail heart?

On the second thought, why would he care? They don't know each other and what she was doing was plain harassment… at least, in this world. Heck! Churu wouldn't even bat an eye on him if she wouldn't benefit from this greatly.

If only she didn't need to do this, Churu was certain she would have been ogling on Seraphina's men right now. Sadly, no matter how strong the temptation was, Churu needed to recover her strength to protect Ethan Lu and Lexi in the future.

Wow… her eyes looked amazing.

"How can this be the proclaimed Jin Medical if you allow just anyone in?" Morris Liu's voice was akin to a thunder, shaking the entire establishment.

For a second, the nurses and doctor that came in were at a lost momentarily. Unconsciously, all gazes were on Churu as she was the only person inside before they came in.

However, how could Morris Liu say she's just anyone? Wasn't she with Ethan Lu earlier this morning? One nurse had a glimpse of her and remembered her because the color of Churu's eyes were truly remarkable.

"Uh, Mr. Liu…"

"Get her out of here." Interrupting the nurse's obvious explanation, Morris Liu set his piercingly icy gaze at her. "Now!" He added, which made the nurse flinch.

"Y—yes!" The nurse stuttered as she nodded her head and turned her apologetic gaze to Churu.

"Morris Liu, don't blame me if you have a heart attack later!" Fuming mad, Churu's nose produced steam as she glared at him.

"Miss…?" Since the nurse assumed that they knew each other, she was still polite despite the frightening gaze from Morris Liu.

"Hmph!" Rolling her eyes at Morris Liu once more, Churu turned before she stomped her feet out of the private ward.

Watching the young lady retreat, Morris Liu narrowed his eyes. Did she just curse his health? The nerve she has. Surely, these youngsters were troublesome, was the thought that struck Morris Liu's mind.

Unbeknownst to him, Churu was older than his ancestors. Actually, it was safe to say she was nearly the same age as this world's creation.

Later that night…

"*sigh* I really shouldn't come back." Churu murmured. Staring down at Morris Liu's sleeping face, she could not help but click her tongue.

"How could he look so peaceful and harmless when asleep?" Churu added, and another sigh slipped from her thin lips. "He should just sleep until he's fully healed so I recover my original strength in peace." Shaking her head, Churu turned and strode towards the open window.

Who said she needed to use the main door to enter this place? Morris Liu was naive to think that anyone could stop her.

After all, Churu had the capability to cause havoc in this world. Even if all the countries joined forces and would stand before her, she could wipe them out in a single second.

That was if she so desired to do it. However, it never interests her to meddle more in this world.

After Churu closed the open window, she returned beside the table. Slowly, she began undressing herself. "I feel like a whore, really…" she muttered yet, she didn't stop from taking off her clothes.

As soon as her dress slid down to the floor, only the underwear Lexi bought for her remained. "This will do, I guess?" Churu shrugged her shoulders as she gravitated if she should take off the undergarments too.

With that, Churu slid to his side, sharing her body warmth with him under the same blanket. "Feels good…" again, these words escaped her mouth as her body relaxed and a faint glow wrapped around their bodies.
