The S+ Class Omega Takes Over Again [BL]-Chapter 32: The new S+ Class awakener?
After standing there for nearly ten minutes, Rian grew fidgety, wishing he could at least sit beside Cheon Areum on the couch instead of remaining wedged between Inho and Yoon Seoyul. At last, Yoon Seoyul loosened his hold and let him move.
"You can’t locate him on the map either?"
"No. It shouldn’t be possible. He’s like those rare beings inside dungeons—existences that don’t register on my map at all. But Cheon Areum... he can still reach them."
Catching Rian as he ran straight into his arms, Cheon Areum finally addressed Inho’s presumption.
"I can’t sense him with my energy either."
Inho dragged a finger across his cheek, pausing as he turned the idea over in his mind before voicing another possibility.
"Then isn’t that his specialty? What if he’s in the middle of an awakening?"
"You can return to your work now."
Yoon Seoyul moved to the couch across from Cheon Areum and Rian as he dismissed Inho, his tone leaving no room for more words. Inho bowed quickly and fled the office probably relieved he wasn’t getting fired. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
"Hyung, I’m hungry... when are we going back?"
Cheon Areum didn’t have an answer either. He simply glanced toward Yoon Seoyul, who responded by handing Rian his phone before rising from his seat and heading toward his desk.
"Order whatever you feel like eating."
They had an early dinner inside Yoon Seoyul’s office, Rian occasionally holding out pieces of his dumplings for Yoon Seoyul to take in his mouth running between the them both. Cheon Areum, meanwhile, stuck to seaweed soup—the one dish gentle enough that it wouldn’t come back up on him later. Yoon Seoyul ended up taking longer than he’d anticipated and suggested they head home without him. Rian refused outright, insisting they return together, and in the end, Cheon Areum and Rian prepared for the night in the bedroom on the same floor as Yoon Seoyul’s office, choosing to wait it out nearby instead.
Just as sleep was beginning to claim him, Cheon Areum heard the door ease open. A familiar presence slipped in, and moments later, a comforting weight settled behind him. He shifted slightly, glancing back to confirm who it was.
"Are you still awake?"
"Mm... I was just about to fall asleep when you came in."
Answering in a low, drowsy murmur, Cheon Areum let his eyes slip shut as Yoon Seoyul’s arm curved around him from behind. A light kiss brushed his earlobe, followed by a whisper against his skin.
"I’m sorry."
"For what?"
Cheon Areum murmured back, fingers lifting to stroke through Yoon Seoyul’s hair where his head rested in the hollow of his neck, the touch slow and affectionate.
"I’m sorry you have to go through being sick on your own."
"Who’s alone? I have you right here and Rian right here..."
Cheon Areum spoke with a slight smile on his lips while holding Rian’s hand who had insisted he would only sleep with his hyung. Yoon Seoyul didn’t answer. He leaned in instead, pressing a tender kiss to the side of Cheon Areum’s face, his palm drifting lower to rest beneath his navel in a slow, grounding motion.
"This is a hundred times better than being unable to leave a bed... spending every day alone, attached to machines...."

Today, he felt far stronger than he had on any previous day. After calling Han Kakta to Yoon Seoyul’s office, he settled on the floor facing the glass wall, eyes drifting over the sprawling city below. Behind him, Han Kakta took his place, prepared to recharge him since his energy had stabilized but was still liable to drain with use, Yoon Seoyul focused on assigning the new S-Class gates, pouring out a steady stream of calming pheromones for Cheon Areum at the same time. Being a beta, Han Kakta felt no discomfort from the lingering pheromones in the room, making him the perfect partner for this task.
"Do you know how ridiculous this sounds? How can you search a city on your own? This new awakener could have left the city or even the country for all we know."
"If I had heard that I would have had a good laugh and gone home, thinking someone was joking."
Han Kakta slouched back, amusement flickering across his face as he spoke to Cheon Areum, who remained completely absorbed in scanning every corner of the city today.
"I don’t want to give up without trying first."
Cheon Areum’s reply was simple, firm. Even in his best condition and with Han Kakta providing an unlimited energy supply, if he couldn’t locate him today, he would have to accept that there was no chance of finding him at any other time. At that moment, Yoon Seoyul hesitated, then finally rose from his seat behind the desk.
"Keep an eye on him for me, Kakta."
"Got it."
As Yoon Seoyul left the office, Han Kakta straightened, eyes locking on Cheon Areum’s back.
"Stay still. If you’re planning anything, wait until Yoon Seoyul gets back."
After the last time Yoon Seoyul had trusted him with Cheon Areum, he didn’t want another incident. This time, he made sure to remain fully alert, every sense on guard.
"What would I be planning—"
Cheon Areum muttered to himself, but his words caught in his throat as a sudden, powerful pull of energy reached out to him, almost calling out to him he froze in place.
"What? Did you sense something?"
Han Kakta asked instantly, noticing the pause. Cheon Areum’s eyes followed the shifting current, tracing it as it moved, shadowed by his own energy. Slowly, the outline of a figure became clear—a person radiating the same overwhelming power as an S+ Class. Without a second thought, Cheon Areum sprang to his feet. The glass wall shattered under his sudden movement, a rush of wind slamming against his face. Shards tinkled to the floor, held safely within his energy so no one was harmed. In the very next instant, he leapt into the open sky, soaring toward the source of the overwhelming energy.
Black bones streaked with red blood erupted from his back, arching from his shoulder blades as Cheon Areum plummeted through the air, Han Kakta suddenly lunged, gripping his arm with one hand and clutching the edge of the building’s third floor with the other. Using himself as a brace between Cheon Areum and the open sky, he halted the fall, his shout cutting through the wind.
"Are you seriously doing this on purpose, Cheon Areum?! I told you to wait for Yoon Seoyul to come back!"
"I found someone! It’s definitely the new S+ Class! Let go—he’ll escape if we wait!"
Cheon Areum shouted back, glancing up at him with fierce determination.
"Then take me with you at least! What do you plan to do if you run out of energy and fall from the sky?"
Clicking his tongue, he unfurled the black feathers of his wings, a cloud of black energy making its way to Han Kakta and wrapping him in a cocoon of his energy, he anchored him firmly in the air. Together, they shot forward, cutting through the wind at terrifying speed, streaking toward the source of the new energy.
"Doesn’t flying this fast make you nauseous?!"
"It’s mostly only certain sounds that do that."
Cheon Areum replied calmly, his wings slicing through the wind as he kept a slightly bent arm around Han Kakta to steady him. Fortunately, the location wasn’t too far—close enough that he could reach it in just a few minutes. They were high enough in the sky that no one under them could make out what had went by in the sky despite it being daytime. Han Kakta squeezed his eyes shut against the wind, gripping Cheon Areum tightly, while Cheon Areum’s energy formed a protective shield over his own eyes. He kept them open, scanning the sky and terrain below, guiding their path with unerring precision.
Reaching the location, Cheon Areum hovered above, eyes scanning the ground below. In the midst of an empty construction site stood a massive black gate, stark and foreboding, with a handful of parked cars scattered in the neighboring streets. There was no one guarding it seemingly a new gate that had just opened and possibly the S+ Class energy that was attracting him to the place but there was also a person he had found.
"Let’s land and check it out! I’ll help!"
Han Kakta called out, his voice carrying a mix of eagerness and relief at the thought of touching solid ground again. But Cheon Areum remained aloft, eyes scanning from above. Finally, he spotted a figure casually approaching the gate, moving offhandedly towards the gate as if he was going to enter it. Cheon Areum abruptly descended in front of the figure, gasping for breath after flying at such breakneck speed. Gradually, his eyes lifted, taking in the person before him—hair falling in a thick curtain, hiding their eyes completely, the strands reaching down to their nose and shadowing their face mysteriously.
