The Seven Sisters and Their Hidden King-Chapter 168: Beat Yourself Up
Chapter 168 - 168: Beat Yourself Up
The Black Dragon Gang, founded by Alan, was the most powerful underground force in the entire state of New York.
After leaving Providence College, Jason hurried straight to the Black Dragon Gang's headquarters to report to Andy.
Damn it! How dare that guy get close to Emily! Let's see how Andy tears him apart! Jason sneered inwardly.
After hearing the news, Andy stayed silent for a moment before replying, "You did a good job. If you run into any trouble in the future, we'll take care of you."
"Thank you," Jason replied gratefully, though doubt churned in his heart.
That reaction wasn't right...
The last time Jason reported a guy getting close to Emily, that poor bastard had his legs broken the same day.
By all logic, Andy should've flown into a rage, stormed out with his men, and gone straight to Providence College to hunt John down.

But he didn't.
There was even a moment of hesitation.
Jason was confused.
What he didn't know was that Andy had already given up on Emily. After all, it was because of her that he'd provoked someone terrifying—causing his own father to lose an arm.
He wouldn't dare cross that line again.
In fact, Andy's "Well done" wasn't about Emily at all. He had something else in mind.
Although he no longer had any designs on Emily, his father Alan had warned him: if they ever crossed paths with that cultivator again, they had to treat him with the utmost respect. Becoming that man's lackey would be an honor.
And Emily was close to that cultivator.
Now, another man had shown interest in her.
That was as good as stepping into his territory.
If Andy could report this to the cultivator, it might earn him some serious favor.
That cultivator, of course, was John.
Andy rushed to inform his father.
Alan agreed instantly—this was the perfect chance.
He had been wanting to show loyalty to John for a long time.
Wasting no time, Alan tracked down John's number and made the call.
"Sir, it's me—Alan," he said humbly.
He didn't even dare call himself Alan Brown in front of John. Just Alan.
"Alan?" John sounded confused. "How did you get my number?"
"I got it from Lester. Please forgive me for contacting you so suddenly," Alan said respectfully.
"Cut the crap."
"Yes, sir. Here's the situation. I came across something today. A man dared to get close to your woman."
"My woman?"
Is there someone hanging around my sisters again? John thought.
Impossible. I drove off all the other guys already.
Sensing John's confusion, Alan quickly clarified, "Emily—the daughter of the Wood family."
"Emily?"
John glanced at the blushing girl sitting beside him and immediately understood what was happening. He smirked and pretended to be furious.
"Who?! Who dares to covet my woman?!"
"It's said he's a new teacher at Providence College."
"The audacity! If only I were there... You'd better go beat the crap out of him for me. Make sure he knows who he's messing with."
"Understood, sir. I'll make sure you're satisfied."
Alan hung up, grinning ear to ear.
This was the perfect opportunity to show his loyalty. He had to do this personally—and do it well.
He immediately got ready to leave, with Jason leading the way.
At first, Jason had been disappointed by Andy's lack of reaction. But now? Even Alan himself was going?
Alan—the Underground Monarch and a powerful martial artist?
Well, don't blame me for being sneaky, Jason thought smugly. You're the one who messed with someone untouchable. After today, Andy will see me as a top-tier informant. My future is set!
Both Jason and Alan were excited—for different reasons.
Jason wanted to earn Andy's favor.
Alan wanted to impress John.
The irony was almost poetic.
Meanwhile, Emily sat beside John, her face flushed with a strange, amused smile.
Her future boyfriend was something else.
He actually told someone to beat himself up.
How could life be boring with a man like this?
She had been standing right next to John when he took Alan's call. Of course, she'd heard everything clearly.
Especially that one line:
"Who dares to covet my woman?!"
Her heart skipped a beat.
She wanted it to be true—desperately.
The more she thought about it, the warmer she felt. Her cheeks turned bright red, her legs went soft, and her heart fluttered uncontrollably.
Unable to contain her feelings, she leaned in and clutched his arm. "Since we're acting, let's make it look more real," she whispered, her face glowing.
John gave her a meaningful glance and chuckled. "Are you sure this is about acting? Sounds more like you're using it as an excuse to do something naughty."
Emily's blush deepened. Embarrassed, she was about to pull her arm away.
But before she could, she felt a warm hand slide onto her backside.
"As you said," John whispered, "we should make it look more realistic."
Emily's entire face turned crimson as she practically melted from the contact.
