Chapter 635 -57 Elizabeth’s Doubts_2
The Mechanical King Guild likewise faced a dire situation, with Blue Star Energy Technology Group essentially climbing over them on their way up. Many had even started to leave the Guild, and the Mechanical King Guild was on the verge of disbanding.
Without a doubt, Blue Star Energy Technology Group was the biggest winner in this turmoil. The incident had greatly enhanced their fame, and with a strong background, more people were coming to them, seeking orders.
Yes, seeking orders.
Blue Star Energy Technology Group was now selective about taking orders; there was a waiting list.
Blue Star Energy Technology Group gave priority to customers who could pay the full amount upfront, and even so, orders kept coming in.
Some companies that had thought to contend with Blue Star Energy Technology Group were preparing to shift gears and collaborate instead, selling their products through them. There were no eternal enemies, only eternal interests.
Besides that, an agreement had been struck with Sorey for resource exchange, allowing direct swaps of weapons for energy, and introducing Blue Star Technology Group’s weapons into the Odin Mountain Star Market.
Less than a year since its inception, Blue Star Energy Technology Group had stepped onto the fast track of development.
In the Mechanical God Arena, many wanted to see Hunter fight again, but Hunter from Blue Star Energy Technology Group did not reappear. Xu Mo had achieved his goal, and the impact of the Super God Mechanical Battle was enough.
Time passed unnoticed, and Lucas University started its new term.
The opening day was bustling at Lucas University, with various advanced flying devices shuttling in and out, as students returned to campus.
Of course, there were also new students coming to enroll.
In the campus, there were welcoming teams to guide the newcomers.
Xu Mo and Zero walked through Lucas University. Xu Mo had visited Zero’s home, and afterward, they had come to the university together.
Xu Mo’s eyes kept roving, observing the other students and thinking that the student quality at Lucas University was really high—he was referring to their looks!
Naturally, many people’s gazes also fell on the two of them.
Xu Mo was handsome, and Zero’s beauty was even more stunning. It was hard for such a pair not to attract attention.
“Are they new students or returning ones?” someone nearby inquired.
“Neither, that girl is Zero, a second-year history student from the Anos Clan, and the guy is her Servant, a librarian here.” A second-year student who recognized Xu Mo and Zero replied.
The two of them had some fame on campus, especially in the Library, recognized by anyone who had visited.
“Servant?” Someone surveyed the two, pondering the idea.
Xu Mo and Zero could hear the voices around them. Zero, seeing Xu Mo glancing around, asked, “What are you looking at?”
“The new students are full of energy,” Xu Mo said.
Zero looked at him. This guy didn’t even have a hint of a guilty expression when lying.
“You are mine now, and from now on, you’re not allowed to look around randomly,” Zero said. “And you’re not allowed to speak casually to girls—it’s not safe.”
“Not safe??” Xu Mo looked at Zero and laughed, “Since when did I become yours?”
“My mom is your mom, so doesn’t that make you mine?” Zero replied.
Xu Mo’s brain struggled to keep up. Was that even logical?
Just then, a handsome blond young man approached Xu Mo and Zero, the same one who had asked about their identity earlier. He looked at Zero with a smile he considered charming and extended his hand, “Senior, my name is Dean. May I have the pleasure of making your acquaintance?”
“Uh…” Xu Mo looked at him. Had he just become invisible?
He glanced at Zero. It was normal, though; with Zero’s looks, it’d be strange if she hadn’t encountered this sort of thing before. He wondered how she had dealt with it before.
“Inconvenient,” Zero glanced at him briefly, then walked past. Dean’s eyebrows lifted slightly, but he still blocked Zero’s path with a smile, “Senior, may we exchange contact information?”
“Step aside,” Zero’s tone grew colder. Whispers arose around them, and Dean’s smile faded, sensing a loss of face, though he still didn’t move.
Suddenly, she swung her right leg out.
“Bang…”
The next moment, Dean’s body flew off, harshly crashing to the ground.
Xu Mo couldn’t bear to watch.
No wonder no one harassed Zero; he felt like he understood now!
He had almost forgotten she was a fierce woman—Stek Hao had been beaten up pretty badly by her.
But Xu Mo felt he was more impressive, having tamed the fierce woman himself.
Thinking this, Xu Mo took Zero’s hand. Her arm trembled slightly, but she did not resist, and they walked past Dean.
Dean, lying on the ground, caught Xu Mo giving him a look of sympathy. That look almost made Dean spit out blood; he felt like he had been betrayed.
Voices rose from behind, “The scumbag living off a woman in the Library is actually moving up in the world!!”
Heartache.
After they parted ways, Zero headed to the history department, and Xu Mo went back to the Library to check in and start his workday.
Old man Lucas put aside some work and handed it to Xu Mo as soon as he arrived.
After organizing the books, Xu Mo found a spot to read. The Library wasn’t crowded, but there were still plenty of acquaintances who greeted him.
As more students returned to campus, the Library gradually filled up.
“Scumbag, where’s your girlfriend?” a female student asked with a laugh.
“…” Xu Mo said, “Miss Kalan, you must have some misunderstanding about me.”
“I have no misunderstandings about you.” Kalan walked away with a smile, acknowledging that although Xu Mo was hardworking and studious, he was indeed a scumbag.
