The Silent Auction: The Alpha's Obsession-Chapter 94: I got them

Olivia’s POv...

"Jesus," Luca yelled and a gasp fell out of my lips. "No don’t leave the bed," Luca said, if I were one second late, I would have left the bed.

"I didn’t know it was you, when I heard a noise." I breathed out. "Are you hurt, Luca?" I asked and he shook his head.

I stared at him unable to speak, when I heard a noise, I didn’t leave the bed, instead, I held my gun and pointed it toward the door, I didn’t know that it would be him waking into my room.

I didn’t wait to see who it was when I shot, I guess I learnt that from Luca, you can see who it is later after you make sure you are safe.

"Are you sure or are you saying it because you don’t want me to feel bad?" I asked.

"It’s a graze, I am fine." He said when he looked away; he was covered in dried blood and I could see the place I may have injured him a little bit. "At least I know that you will be able to take care of yourself, it just makes me feel a bit better." He said and I smiled.

"Come tell me what happened?" I asked.

"How about a shower?" He said and I nodded.

He has clothes here, his clothes and I would prefer wearing them than having to wear my clothes and he doesn’t have to worry about getting me new clothes, I am not going to be here for a long time, just until the stem is off and everything will go back to normal, because I know that’s what he wants too.

I watched as he headed into the bathroom, after thirty minutes he got out in a pair of sweats and he had his hand covered in a bandage, I felt horrible for being the one to cause that, I had hoped I didn’t do that.

I stared at him again, and I smiled, I have even worried since he left, I tried to take my mind off with a movie, it didn’t help because the character died toward the beginning of the movie and it only made me feel scared so I started with a comedy and I didn’t laugh either, no matter what I did, all I could do was think about him, if he would be fine and I felt scared that someone will know that I am here.

I thought about how it would go a thousand times and until I figured out the best way to run away, it would be through the balcony. I would not jump but there a stairs there to make sure that will would be able to leave and I thought of different ways.

I shook off the thoughts and I looked back at him.

"I am guessing it went too well." I smiled as he sat beside me, he rested his head on my lap and my hand found its place touching his hair, this felt better.

"Were you scared when I left?" Luca asked and I nodded

"I was but I nene you would not leave me in a place that is filled with danger, I knew that it would be safe and I could not stop thinking about you or the party but the neighbors next door, made me laugh a few times." I breathed out as he stared at me. "They have four kids and well, these kids are a lot of work." I smiled.

When we heard a noise, it was the mom yelling again at her oldest son, I had assumed he was the oldest because of the way she yelled, or rather a second child, it made me laugh so many times.

"How did it go Luca, were you able to get him? And Jamie and the rest." I asked and he nodded, I felt a wave of relief wash over me but I have a feeling he is hiding something.

His eyes said it all.

"Tell me." I breathed out.

"I saw Sebastian, I think he had been in the city since Patrick she did, I just didn’t know, he probably came with him so my men didn’t even see his face." Luca expressed and I nodded.

"He is harmless he is all talk and nothing, he can’t hurt us or even think about doing it. I am sure Natalie told him all about me, all about the house." I explained and Luca nodded.

They didn’t scare me, I didn’t worry about them because I knew that he couldn’t even do anything, his father controlled him, and even when I met him. It was one of the first things that I noticed about him.

"Did you get the guards to take them in?"

"No," Luca said.

"What do you have planned?"

"Nothing for now, I can’t take Sebastine away his father could start a war and I don’t need that at the moment even if they are not strong like us or even take half of what we have, he could have friends that will do anything for him or even the ones that have to give back to favors, I need proof that Sebastine is all in one this, If not I can’t kill him, if his father finds out that his son is a danger to me and my mafia. He knows that what I did is the best option."

"He would let you kill Sebastien, I don’t think he will Luca." I breathed out. "He is the only kid, no matter what evidence we have," I explained.

"That would be his problem, I have not pondered about it yet but fuck." Luca said when he stood up and I watched as he sent a quick message to one of his men. "We need both of them, both Sebastian and Natalie in captivity and I don’t care if his father would hate it, what is another little war?" He said and I smiled

"That’s better Luca, we can bother about what it can lead to later for now, we need both of them."

"I have a feeling we might not find any of them tonight, they see the attack and they know that Patrick is nowhere to be found, they would be in hiding, especially Natalie it seems like she worked with him directly and it seemed like she would be worried about him," Luca explained and I nodded.

"It doesn’t matter, as long as she can be found, it won’t matter if she is scared or worried, what matters is that, at the end of the day, we would know where she is, she would be where she is meant to be, what are you going to do with Patrick?" I asked as I stared at him.

I am starting to get a bit worried about that, I didn’t want them to try and save him tonight. I am sure they would do all they can to try and find him and when they do, they would not care if anyone is going to get hurt, if anyone would end up dying and they would even be happier if any of us would end up getting hurt.

"You don’t have to think about it, nothing bad is going to happen again, they are never going to find him and tomorrow o will be sure that he is dead, I will make him pay for all of the things that he has done to me, I will make him bleed, I will be sure that his eyes would be filled with nothing but tears and when I am done with him, he will hate himself for what he has done; he will wish that he didn’t come back, he will wish that he stayed where he is, I am going to make sure the rest of the family will suffer with him too."

"I want them to, I saw the way they looked at me during that dinner mad I assure you that, even without Patrick, one day they will backstab you, I never understood the rule of never hurting your family especially when they are bad for you, especially when they are harmful and when they hate you, I never understand that and I never will."

"It’s a stupid rule, I guess it’s to declare unity, an Alpha that cares about his family will care for everyone else too, it didn’t even make sense, and I mostly didn’t even understand even half of it, but it’s over now, it’s done and we never have to worry about it." He said and I smiled.

He placed his hand on my stomach, caressing it softly as my eyes met his, all I wanted was to make up and realize this nightmare was over and I had hoped that, it would always be, I had hoped that, we would never have to look back at something like this ever again.
