The Soft-Hearted Wife of Mr. Big Shot-Chapter 210: No One Can Stop Her
"I don’t want to repeat myself."
Holly Sawyer looked at everyone coldly, her gaze extremely indifferent, as she glanced around.
She didn’t want to say it again, the thing she wanted to do she wanted to do right now.
Everyone silently stepped aside, not daring to continue blocking Holly Sawyer.
Because they knew clearly that if Holly wanted to leave, they couldn’t stop her; all efforts would be in vain.
"What should we do, what should we do?"
"Should we follow her?"
"What should we do now?"
Those who knew Holly’s past began to panic, anxiously pacing like ants on a hot pan.
It was really out of worry, worry mixed with fear.
"Shouldn’t there be any issues?"
"Why are we stopping the boss?"
"I find it a bit strange."
Those who hadn’t witnessed it were puzzled, the group’s behavior was really hard to explain.
For instance, why stop Holly?
They could all see that the group was deliberately stopping Holly, not wanting her to go out, which was very perplexing.
"Let’s follow her."
Walter Bennett took a deep breath, signaling for everyone to follow her.
Really worried Holly might do something, fortunately Holly wasn’t harmed in the end, fortunately she returned.
"Alright."
Everyone nodded and then followed Holly out, genuinely afraid she might get into trouble.
Perhaps sometimes Holly doesn’t even know the extent of her own explosiveness.
Holly went alone, without any heavy weaponry, just carrying her usual things, heading straight for the docks.
Right now, all she could think about was seeking justice for Diana Curtis, determined to destroy the others, keeping a surge of anger inside.
Her car sped quickly, practically racing on the road, running countless red lights, not even stopping despite the police orders.
"The boss is driving so fast."
Someone exclaimed, unable to keep up with Holly’s speed, her car almost vanishing.
"Just go to the docks."
Walter lowered his eyes, taking a deep breath, feeling quite worried.
Holly was definitely heading to the docks; they couldn’t catch up to her speed.
Holly was excellent at racing, though she rarely does it now, even lazy to drive.
"Does anyone have Leo Grant’s contact?"
Walter suddenly thought of Leo Grant, his eyes lighting up, maybe Leo could calm Holly down.
Many knew of Leo, had heard of him, but contact information was truly absent.
"No."
"How could we possibly have Leo’s contact?"
"Nope."
"I have their company’s front desk number, though unsure if it’s useful."
Most people didn’t have Leo’s contact; where would they get such a thing?
However, some did have Grant Group’s front desk contact, just unsure if they could reach Leo.
Leo was very busy.
"Try giving it a call."
Walter took a deep breath, slowly speaking.
If it didn’t work, they’d have to find another way, though it might take a long time, uncertain if it would delay anything.
The Pantheon had skilled computer experts, just not as good as Holly’s, quite inferior.
Walter himself made the call; it rang several times before being answered, Walter claimed he needed to speak to Leo urgently, asking the receptionist to assist.
The receptionist hesitated, saying Leo was busy, asking him to pass the information for her to relay.
After some persuasion, Walter emphasized it was regarding Leo’s girlfriend, making the receptionist hesitant, but eventually connecting to Leo’s office.
Many had seen Leo’s girlfriend, hearing the urgency in Walter’s voice, the receptionist felt she couldn’t delay, fearing it was true.
Leo just walked out of a meeting room, having been in meetings all morning, feeling a bit exhausted, rubbing his temples to relieve fatigue.
The secretary mentioned a call for him, the other party seemed urgent, and he answered.
"What’s wrong with her?"
Listening to Walter’s description over the phone, Leo’s heart immediately tightened, filled with concern.
Something had happened to his girl.
"She went to the docks, you better go check it out."
Walter said before hanging up, feeling slightly relieved.
They failed to persuade her, Leo’s words would surely work.
Leo hung up and hurried to the docks, his girl couldn’t be in trouble; he had to get there fast.
Upon hearing Holly was in trouble, his first thought was to rush over, not considering anything else.
Just like falling for a phone scam, normally clever people would lose their wits when the one they love is involved, not thinking straight.
Then they get scammed.
The situation resembled Leo’s current state; he didn’t even verify if Holly was truly in trouble, just rushing to the docks.
——
When Holly arrived at the docks, she parked the car across them, feeling as if flaunting her strength.
Filled with murderous intent, she got off the car, empty-handed, but her face emitted coldness.
"Who are you?"
Someone, noticing her anger, approached and asked displeased.
They had occupied the docks for many years, rarely encountering troublemakers; seeing Holly’s anger, they knew she came looking for trouble.
"Heard you changed plans with The Pantheon people ahead of schedule?"
Holly appeared calm, speaking coldly.
"Yes, what about it?"
The person was arrogant, directly admitting it.
The person seemed especially immature, very young, although very angry, but they felt it posed no threat.
Loners never became threats, so Holly, alone, wasn’t taken seriously.
"What, looking down on The Pantheon?"
Holly sneered, slowly asking.
This year, The Pantheon had few major activities, almost hidden, rarely appearing.
"Who knows if The Pantheon has fallen, few activities, and its owner nowhere to be seen."
"It’s been so long, The Pantheon remains silent, not even sending anyone for explanations."
Dock workers scoffed, speaking slowly with scorn.
Initially, they were quite alarmed, fearing The Pantheon’s revenge, but waiting so long without any movements made them relax.
They had heard The Pantheon’s tales, but with time and no actions, they assumed silence.
