The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 94: The Confused Necromancer

Before the Necromancer could even react, suddenly, a chilling air spread into the air. And then the next moment, several skeletons that were in the surrounding area froze into ice popsicles.

It was not only that but, a wave of light suddenly flashed into the area, suddenly eliminating several skeleton warriors that had been melted.

With great surprise and confusion in his eyes, the Necromancer turned around and realized that there were two figures that had approached. They were not only stunningly beautiful, but at the same time, as they attacked the skeleton warriors in front of them, they showcased their incredible skills.

The Necromancer was currently confused. At the same time, he couldn’t understand what was happening anymore. When he was leading the group of skeleton warriors over, he had already been expecting that they were going to conquer the city since the monsters had already fled the city.

But now, instead of conquering the humans that were filled with fear, currently, it was the skeleton warriors that he had come along with that were being besieged from both sides.

Even though the humans that were attacking this time were not having a numerical advantage, currently, they possessed incredible skills in that, they were one man army.

When Jasmine realized that there was yet another group of strong people that had arrived, her eyes finally shined with excitement. With all these strong people present, she was sure that she was finally going to get her brother.

Even if she was not going to do anything to him, at least, she had to make sure that he was taught how to behave. After all, even if he wanted strength, why would he join the enemy’s side?

Previously, when Olivia end Sarah were heading back to the territory, they suddenly realized that there was a commotion on this side.

When they approached closely, they realized that there was a group of humans that were facing off against another group of skeleton warriors.

And looking at the group, in between the skeleton warriors, the two of them could see that there were several necromancers present.

This had astonished them. After all, it was not long ago that they had dealt with another necromancer. But currently, there were yet another four necromancers in the area.

Just a single one of them was strong enough to give Olivia a lot of trouble to defeat. But now, there were several of them. Additionally, they possessed an army of thousands of skeleton warriors.

Even though the skeleton warriors were not that strong, and there was not even a single one of them that had reached the Bronze rank, but the problem was the fact that, it was completely difficult to eliminate all the skeleton warriors present.

Even if they were strong, they were going to take a lot of time to eliminate them, consuming a lot of energy. And since that was the case, if they had consumed a lot of energy and faced offer with the necromancers, then, defeat was inevitable.

Previously, Olivia had decided that she was not going to participate in this fight. She wanted to go back to the territory, and inform Henry about the matter so that they could make earlier preparations.

But in the end, she suddenly realized that there were two incredible figures that had appeared. And, one of the necromancers was killed in a single shot.

This had immediately attracted Olivia’s attention. Without hesitation, she looked at the stats of the necromancers, and finally realized something, not all of them were at the same level as the one that she had faced before.

Currently, one of them was at level four of the Bronze rank, while the remaining ones were at level 2 of the Bronze rank.

Even though it was true that they were weaker than the one that she had faced before, Olivia realized that they were at least a level ahead of her.

Additionally, listening to the words that were being said by the necromancers, she finally realized that there had to be something that was wrong.

She didn’t understand the origin of the apocalypse, and neither did she understand the reason as to why it descended.

But now, it seemed that the necromancers were the ones that possessed information about the apocalypse. However, it was going to be a difficult task to extract the information from them.

When Olivia suddenly noticed that amongst the two figures that had appeared, one of them was Storm, she was of course surprised.

Previously, she had realized that Storm had mysteriously disappeared. But still, she had linked it to Henry summoning it. But, she could not understand the reason as to why storm was currently here. Additionally, what was that elf? And why was she helping?

Since she could not get the answers to the questions by staying in the dark, she could only attack. Since the skeleton army had already begun to be dealt with, then, she might as well take this chance where there were several experts to deal with the skeleton army.

And in case they were not capable of defeating them all, they might as well retreat. At least, by that time, they would have already reduced the might of the skeleton army.

She looked at Sarah who was looking at the battlefield silently and said, "Let’s attack. I don’t know why storm is here, but, let’s help out and find about the matter later."

"Ok." Sarah replied. Previously, she had already been planning to help, because she felt completely uncomfortable with the dark aura that was being leaked from the bodies of the skeletons.

So, the two of them immediately launched attacks. This time, they did not simply attack, but instead, they launched their skills. Since they were dealing with a large group of skeleton warriors, they had to attack with skills that dealt with crowds.

The two of them moved in different directions, as Olivia released ice age, while Sarah launched purify skill. The destructive power of the two skills immediately showed effect as several skeleton warriors were immediately frozen into ice popsicles, while some of them were melted into the ground.

This time, Olivia did not want to deal with the group of skeleton warriors. She knew that the weak link of the skeleton warriors was the necromancers that were controlling them. So, as she attacked, she headed in that direction.

Diana had also noticed the new people that had come in. But, since she didn’t know about them, and they were not enemies coming she did not say anything. Instead, just like Olivia, the two of them began massacring the skeleton warriors as they headed towards the Necromancer in the lead.

The necromancer on the other hand was completely dumbfounded. Previously, he had thought that he was going to dominate the entire city. But now, he was facing a group of incredible humans.

"Could the information that I was given be wrong? But that cannot be true! There has to be an anomaly that has occurred. That anomaly has to be destroyed!" The necromancer thought to himself.

Even though he was surprised by the appearance of Diana, Storm, Sarah and Olivia, still, he was not afraid. After all, he could detect that all of them were at the first level of the Bronze rank, while he on the other hand was already at the fourth level.

With coldness within his eyes, he immediately began mobilizing the dark energy in his body. At the same time, as he looked at the four figures as they attacked, he was already pleased in his heart.

He couldn’t help but think to himself that, as long as he managed to subdue all of them, he was going to have incredible undead soldiers. Just thinking of the strength that they were going to possess, his eyes lit up with excitement as he immediately moved forward to attack.

Since he didn’t want to continue delaying the matter, he decided to allow those that were heading towards him to come freely. As for the skeleton worries, they all headed towards Jasmine and her group.

The remaining two necromancers on the other hand decided to attack Storm and Sarah. They believed that with this, they would be able to deal with this group of humans and an elf, and a monster.

When Olivia and Diana realized that the Necromancer had decided to allow them to attack, the two of them smiled. And in the next moment, each and every one of them launched an attack.

The Necromancer had never expected that he was going to be attacked like that. But still, he was able to react fast. Just like before, a dark dome was formed around him.

Boom! Boom!

An ice projectile and an arrow landed on the black barrier with incredible force. Just like always, there was a shock wave that was created.

The Necromancer on the other hand was completely stunned the moment he realized that, the two ladies actually possessed incredible prowess.

Even though he had already experienced Diana’s incredible capabilities, he had not expected that Olivia also possessed the same abilities. And in fact, she seemed to be slightly more capable than Diana.

Since he was sandwiched between the two of them, the two attacks did not push him in any direction, instead, he felt that the barrier was about to be broken.

But in the end, although several cracks had appeared on the barrier, it managed to hold on. But still, the Necromancer was able to tell that it would not be able to prevent the next wave of attacks.

So, knowing that it could not continue being passive, the Necromancer decided to take action.

As the dark dome disappeared, another wave of attacks headed towards it. One was extremely cold, while another one possessed incredible tearing power.

The pupils of the Necromancer dilated, and in the next moment, as he took a few steps backwards in a fast speed, he waved the scythe towards the ice beam.
