Chapter 96: Chapter 096: It’s None of My Business If You Dig Your Own Grave
Zhang Fan was quite frustrated, "Fuck, is buying a phone worth all this hassle with me?"
Money? He had two cards on him, one with over three hundred thousand, the other with two million.
It’s just a dozen or so phones, how much could that cost?
Originally, he didn’t want to do this, but seeing that snotty store clerk looking down on people, he couldn’t help but show off a bit.
"Kid, stop." The man’s eyes were about to bulge out.
Dammit, if the boss found out someone smashed phones like this in the store, he’d definitely be fired.
"Fuck off, where’s the POS machine? I’ll pay right now. Xiaoyuan, go grab all the phones for me." Zhang Fan was fired up too.
Zhang Xiaoyuan was already grinding her teeth with anger, and upon hearing Zhang Fan’s words, she went straight to the other counters and moved all the phones in front of Zhang Fan.
The group of people still choosing phones had an incredibly colorful look on their faces.
Damn, this kid is looking to stir shit up.
"Including the ones just smashed, sixty-three in total. Where’s the POS machine? I’m swiping my card." Zhang Fan, holding an iPhone 7 Plus, clenched his fingers and turned the phone into a lump of scrap metal.
"Alright, I actually want to see if you have that much money." The man, also in a state of shock and awe, hurriedly brought over the POS machine and slammed it on the counter.
"That will be four hundred and fifty-two thousand eight hundred and fifty-six." The man quickly worked out the price with the calculator.
"Hisss! Over four hundred fifty thousand, my god."
The other people in the store couldn’t help but gasp. Four hundred fifty thousand! That’s enough to buy an apartment.
"What are you staring at? Swipe the card!" Zhang Fan barked coldly, crushing a few more phones in the process.
The man took the bank card Zhang Fan tossed over, swiped it, and said coldly, "Enter the PIN. If you don’t have the money, you’re going to regret it."
Zhang Fan walked over and started pressing the keys.
Everyone’s gaze was firmly fixed on Zhang Fan.
So much money, could this guy really afford it?
"Beep beep beep!"
The POS machine spit out a receipt, clearly showing a purchase of four hundred and fifty-two thousand eight hundred and fifty-six RMB.
When the man saw the receipt, his face changed instantly, then he looked at Zhang Fan with a sinister gaze, "Heh heh, you paid for the phones, but look, you’ve damaged the floor of my store too. Pay up."
Zhang Fan immediately found it amusing and looked at the man with cold eyes, slowly saying, "How much is everything in this store worth?"
The man sneered, "What, you want to smash my store too?"
Zhang Fan spread his hands, "That’s exactly what I’m thinking. How much?"
"One million! If you have the money, go ahead and smash it!" The man sneered with a challenge. Smash the store, dare you?
"Take the card." Zhang Fan turned around, raised his hand, and slammed it violently down on the counter.
"Clang!"
"Crack!"
Watching Zhang Fan break the counter with his bare hands, everyone had a stunned expression, feeling a chill down their spine as they looked at the severely deformed metal frame. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
Shit, this guy isn’t human, smashing up a store with his bare hands, that’s seriously fierce.
Under everyone’s watch, the counter, the TV, everything smashable, turned into debris in Zhang Fan’s hands.
Money? If it’s gone, you earn it back, but the fury in my heart won’t subside until it’s fully vented. How can I be content?
The people in the store panicked and fled, all staring in shock at Zhang Fan as he wantonly destroyed everything. Their eyes, they narrowed.
God damn, who was the bastard that said this guy was broke? He’s smashing up the store; does this look like he’s got no money?
The man stood rooted to the spot, looking at the store that seemed like it had been bombed, his complexion pale.
Fuck, it was just a joke, alright? A million? Fuck, does this look like a million’s worth of trouble? If the boss hears about this, I’m fucking doomed.
Call the police, call the police!
The man immediately pulled out his cellphone and started calling the police. He hadn’t taken any money, so when the boss asked, he could totally say someone had smashed the store by force.
"Police? Someone’s causing trouble in my store, the address is Feilong Street..."
Zhang Fan didn’t pay the slightest attention; wrapping his hand in his sleeve, he smashed up the whole store.
More and more onlookers gathered, and quickly, people from other stores realized something big was going down.
A few security guards pushed through the crowd and, seeing Zhang Fan smashing the store with his bare hands, their faces turned cold. They were just about to step forward to apprehend him when they saw Zhang Fan smash the metal counter, severely deforming it with a palm strike.
Immediately, the security guards swallowed hard and stood frozen in place.
"Make way, who called the cops!"
Xu Yan was furious, his face swollen, his arm aching like hell. Damn it, who the fuck is causing trouble at this hour?
The man saw Xu Yan and his group approaching and was overjoyed. He ran over and said, "Officer, hurry up and arrest that punk, he’s smashed up my shop."
Xu Yan’s eyes were icy, "Good, somebody dares to vandalize a shop in broad daylight. Don’t worry, I’ll handle this impartially."
Xu Yan looked up, and just as he saw Zhang Fan turning around, his body involuntarily shuddered.
Crap, not this little Demon King again!
God, what the hell did I do to him in my past life?
"Yo, Officer Xu, long time no see."
Xu Yan forced a smile, wishing he could turn around and leave, but seeing so many people around, he steadied himself and said, "Young man, what’s going on here? Why did you smash up somebody’s shop?"
Zhang Fan flicked his hand and said, "Someone was being a jerk, said I was broke, so here, I spent a million to buy this place and smash it for fun."
Xu Yan’s face twitched. Fuck, spent a million to buy it just to smash for fun?
"What’s going on?" Xu Yan stared coldly at the man who had called the police. He sure didn’t want to piss off the folks from the Inspection Department, and since the other guy actually paid, why call the police and make trouble?
"Officer, listen to me, I didn’t take his money, he smashed it by force," the man quickly said.
The onlookers couldn’t stand it anymore and immediately retorted, "Heh, just now who was it saying, a million, go ahead and smash if you’ve got the money, our ears aren’t broken."
Xu Yan’s eyes widened, "Fuck this bullshit, everybody out!"
With that, Xu Yan turned and left quickly, not wanting to spend another second with Zhang Fan, the little Demon King.
"Officer, officer, listen to me," the man was nearly in tears.
"Your own damn fault, none of my business. A million, you’ve got it, go fix up your shop with that," Xu Yan said, jogging away without looking back.
The man’s face went pale, and after a long while, he managed to make another phone call. "Boss, our shop’s been smashed to bits, you need to come quick."
"Well well, turns out you’re not the boss, huh? Strutting around like you own the place, for what? Hey, isn’t that phone of yours the one that’s sold for 999 with free shipping?" Zhang Fan’s mouth curved into a smirk as he shook the card in front of the man’s face, "Swipe it!"
