As Ayumi Murakami spoke, Kimura Kazuki noticed that the little ghost on her shoulders was squeaking and stood with arms akimbo as if it was very proud of itself.

Especially when Kimura Kazuki and Chiba Shiori looked over, the dark red-skinned little ghost was baring its fangs and made a ferocious look.

Chiba Shiori was a little afraid at first, but she was not scared of it anymore after a while. It was mostly because Kimura Kazuki was beside her that she felt safe. She also noticed that the little ghost seemed like it could not leave Ayumi Murakami's shoulders and was grabbing her tightly no matter what.

Ayumi Murakami almost tripped on flat ground again as they entered the manga editorial room. Luckily Chiba Shiori was there to catch her before she fell.

An expression of gratefulness appeared on Ayumi Murakami's pale face. This sort of random trip was mentally taxing for her. She had been tripping more recently, even more than in her entire life before this. She had to pay attention to her legs continually, which made it hard for her to focus on anything. More importantly, it was taking a toll on her mentally...

Because she would never know when she would trip. Compared to that, the weird noises at night were not terrifying for her.

The editors noticed them as they were entering.

They ignored Ayumi Murakami almost tripping since it was just an accident.

As soon as Ayumi Murakami entered, she spoke, "Just continue with your work, I'm just showing Miss Gentera around."

"Miss Gentera?

"The one who wrote 'Loading File of Tokyo'?"

"So

young?"

"My God, isn't that the club president? Is it Miss Gentera?"

The manga editorial room's silence was broken moments later as Ayumi Murakami's words shocked them.

Miss Gentera is here in Seikisha?

Is Kimura Kazuki Miss Gentera? Wait... If Miss Gentera is here, does that mean...?

Countless questions filled their minds right at that moment as they stared at Chiba Shiori and Kimura Kazuki with expressions of shock.

No matter which one of them was Miss Gentera, seeing them wearing high school uniforms was enough to shock the editors due to how young they were.

However, no one said anything, and they only stared at them in wonder. Of course, they later discussed it in the editors' chat group.

"Loading File of Tokyo" was a light novel, and if it was getting an adaptation into an anime, it would also be getting a manga adaptation at the same time. Especially when a light novel was this phenomenal, there were usually no exceptions.

While the manga editors were whispering among themselves, a young woman mustered up the courage and came holding some drinks. Her face was flushed; she was obviously uneasy.

After Kimura Kazuki and other the two took their drinks, Takeshi Rena left without saying anything.

Right, she was Takeshi Rena, the editor who was asked by Ryo Otake to rush him while he was disguised as Kimura Kazuko by wearing female clothing.

He did not expect to meet her here. Also, he noticed that the ghost face warrior was still protecting her by her side.

However, he witnessed a small conflict the next moment... The little ghost on Ayumi Murakami's shoulders made a funny face at the ghost face warrior who turned its expressionless face at the little ghost, causing it to recoil in fear.

Chiba Shiori saw the interaction as well. She did not expect to see something so bizarre in the manga editorial room.

There were too many eyes present, so she did not say much.

Ayumi Murakami looked at Takeshi Rena's back after taking her drink and let out a small laugh, "Editor Takeshi brought her younger brother here two weeks ago, and I found out. She said that she brought him here to visit the place, so I gave her a scolding. It seems like she still remembers it." Handing out drinks was usually a new employee's task, but Takeshi Rena was already an official editor. It was clear that she did it as an apology for before. After all, Takeshi Rena was an editor for the manga editorial room, while Ayumi Murakami was the chief editor of the light novel department. They would not really cross paths.

Kimura Kazuki was deep in his thoughts. He had a good chat with Takeshi Rena in the Weier Apartment after winning her over with his looks and position. From their conversation, he knew that she had a younger brother who was formerly an otaku but had changed a lot recently. He used to have a theory that the ghost face warrior had something to do with her brother. However, from what just happened, this little ghost on Ayumi Murakami's shoulders seemed to have a connection with the ghost face warrior as well.

This meant that it was probably also related to Takeshi Rena's brother, Takeshi Yuta.

After that, Ayumi Murakami showed them the entire Seikisha. They went to the voice recording room, the animation studio, the light novel editing room... Their tour in Seikisha finally ended after an hour or so. She then showed them its scenic canteen, which Chiba Shiori kept on praising.

When they were leaving, Chiba Shiori told Ayumi Murakami to take a day off from work as she thought that her lack of spirit was due to her long work hours.

Of course... it was mainly due to the little ghost which was being held by Kimura Kazuki.

Ayumi Murakami would not be bothered by it anymore after that.

Ayumi Murakami did not reject Chiba Shiori's kindness and said that she would do it.

After leaving, Chiba Shiori looked at the little ghost on Kimura Kazuki's hand with curiosity and asked, "Can I touch it?"

"Sure." Looking at her cautious expression, Kimura Kazuki laughed, "This thing isn't a spirit or wraith. You don't have to be nervous, it can't hurt you."

Kimura Kazuki examined it as soon as he caught the little ghost and found out that it was similar to an apparition, but it was not really one. There was no reiki in it, and its consciousness was very simple.

It was like... someone just simply created it.

Chiba Shiori would not know all that, but she remembered about the ghost face warrior after listening to Kimura Kazuki's words. She could not help herself but ask, "Is this little ghost related to the ghost face warrior that we saw?..." Considering that the two of them could interact, plus she recalled the information that Ayumi Murakami divulged, she continued, "Apparently, Murakami-neesan started having accidents ten days ago... She mentioned that she scolded Editor Takeshi half a month ago... Perhaps Editor Takeshi is seeking revenge against her.""Not a bad guess." Kimura Kazuki paused, "But we'll need to investigate to know the truth." Looking at the little ghost in his hands, he stuck a tracking talisman on it.

The little ghost began shaking and disappeared into thin air. The tracking talisman vibrated and turned into a white pigeon around the size of a thumb.

Cluck, cluck, cluck...

It spread its wings and flew ahead quickly.
