The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 576 - 587 Impulse (10)
"Your place?" Olivia Williams paused, quite surprised.
"Yes." Denver Petal nodded straightforwardly, "You’re without keys or money and still in this state. It’s not reassuring for you to go to a hotel."
"Isn’t it inappropriate?" Olivia hesitated.
"There’s nothing inappropriate, I live alone." Denver casually turned the steering wheel and said lightly, "Moreover, we’ve already defined our relationship, so there are some things we need to know about each other. It’s just mutual understanding to avoid messing up when we pretend later."
Olivia: "..."
What else is there to know?
She’s already quite clear about Denver’s basic information.
As for her, she’s mentioned some personal information during the drive.
Seeing her remain silent, Denver said, "Then it’s settled."
He took her straight to his place.
Slightly past midnight, they finally arrived.
Denver parked the car, took her inside, turned on the light, grabbed a pair of slippers and placed them at her feet, saying lightly, "They’re new, never worn before. Put them on and I’ll take you to your room."
"Okay." Olivia complied, wisely responding softly.
Denver led her upstairs, Olivia took note of the surroundings and noticed, yes, the place showed no signs of a woman’s presence.
The home decor followed a modern minimalist style, mainly black, white, and gray, not as exquisitely luxurious as she imagined.
It didn’t match the impression Denver gave but suited his profession and sharp demeanor.
"You’ll stay in this room." Denver took her to the guest bedroom, opened the door, turned on the light, scanned the room, and continued, "You go take a shower first, I’ll get clean sheets and covers for you, uh... do you need anything else?"
Olivia pondered for a moment, "No."
"Alright," Denver nodded, "You can shower first."
Olivia smiled and went into the room.
Denver pressed his lips together, glanced at her, turned, and left to shower.
He was quite particular and usually spent more time showering, after which he checked the time and went to take the sheets and covers to Olivia’s room.
Olivia had been lost in various thoughts in the bathroom and had just wrapped herself in a towel and come out.
At the sound of knocking, she hesitated for a moment.
"Olivia?" Denver’s voice reached her ears again.
Olivia tightened the towel around her, opened the door halfway, reached out for the sheets and covers, and said casually, "Thanks."
Denver handed over the items but didn’t leave, his eyes lingering on her.
He might be an adult, naturally noticing that Olivia’s figure was quite good.
Just—
He didn’t expect her to have a different charm after the shower.
Her aura was extremely gentle.
Like a traditional little woman.
"Anything else?" Olivia felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at, asked softly.
"Yeah." Denver nodded thoughtfully, "I think there’s a problem with the contract we agreed on."
"What?"
"..."
"Bang!"
Before he could finish, Olivia closed the door directly.
Denver stepped back, looked at the firmly shut door, paused, and couldn’t help but curl his lips into a smile.
He turned around and went back to his room.
Surprisingly, he felt a bit cheerful, realizing this titular marriage was more interesting than he’d imagined.
