Chapter 613: Chapter 627: Koa’s Proposal (3)

"Got it." Aunt Lee smiled and turned around to start preparing.

Koa Jackson glanced down at Mia Ginger, "I’m going to the bedroom to change clothes. Why don’t you watch some TV first?"

"No." Mia blinked her eyes, "Watching TV is not as interesting as watching you, I’ll watch you change clothes."

Koa Jackson: "..."

He turned his head and walked towards the bedroom with a blank expression.

Mia quickly followed, and Chancellor, who had just been sitting on the floor, hurriedly followed her.

Soon, they arrived outside Koa Jackson’s bedroom.

Koa Jackson stopped, turned back and glanced at Chancellor with patience, saying in a calm voice, "Don’t let the dog come in."

"..." Mia was stunned, "Are you discriminating by species?"

"Hmm?" Koa raised his eyebrows, "If dog hair falls, will you help me clean it up?"

Mia: "..."

Koa stopped looking at her and stepped into the walk-in closet.

Mia poked her head in for a look and said to Chancellor, who was sitting on the ground, "Come in. His fussiness is nobody’s business."

Chancellor looked at her with a solemn face, unmoved.

It clearly felt Koa Jackson’s strong disdain.

"Oh, it’s fine." Mia patted its head with her hand, "Come in, I’ll take responsibility if anything happens."

Chancellor shook his body twice and swaggered into Koa Jackson’s bedroom.

Koa Jackson said he was changing clothes, but all he did was take off his coat and remove his tie, quickly coming out in a shirt vest and perfectly creased dress pants. He raised his eyes and was stunned by the scene on the sofa not far away. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

Mia had picked up a book from the coffee table, leaning against the sofa and focused on reading it, while Chancellor was squatting on the carpet, staring at him with a long face.

The girl was engrossed, and the dog looked innocent.

The person and the dog seemed unexpectedly... harmonious.

"Mia!" Koa Jackson gritted his teeth and called out in a low, irritated voice.

Mia, holding the book, sat up to look at him, and said with a distressed face, "You scared me to death, what’s wrong?"

"What did I just say?"

"Don’t let the dog come in?" Mia asked in confusion.

"What’s going on here then?"

"I just want to stay in your room a little longer," Mia said naturally, "Didn’t you say it? If any dog hair falls, I’ll clean it. Don’t worry, it’s all on me, I guarantee you won’t find a single hair."

"..." Koa Jackson had nothing to say.

He rubbed his eyebrows heavily with his hand.

Mia put down the book and walked up to him, tilting her head with a smile, "Didn’t you say you were going to change clothes?"

"Not changing now." Koa Jackson kept it short.

Changing clothes usually involves showering, and the timing seemed off, especially with Mia present.

"You’re not changing?" Mia murmured softly, "I didn’t even go in to watch."

Koa Jackson ignored her and said straightforwardly, "Let’s go, take Chancellor to the living room."

"No." Mia turned around, bounced a few steps in his room with a smile, "I think your room is quite comfy, let’s go out after we eat."

Koa Jackson pursed his lips and glanced at her, unexpectedly not objecting.

He stepped into the bedroom.

Mia hurriedly followed, looking at the soft big bed with a sense of affection, kicked off her slippers, and jumped onto it.

Sprawled out without worrying about her image.

Koa Jackson stood by the bed, watching her saying nothing. Mia revelled in rolling around twice on the bed, sitting up, looking at the lush green bamboo outside the floor-to-ceiling window.
