The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 635 - 651
"Still denying it?!" Mia Ginger stood up immediately, muttering, "You’re getting angry out of embarrassment again."
Koa Jackson glanced at her without saying anything, reached for his suit on the chair back, put it on, and went to the cashier to pay the bill.
After settling the bill, he took Mia around the department store outside, bought a silk scarf for Aurora Cooper, and gifts for Margot and Bob Ginger. Finally, they picked out several health products, carrying them all to get the car.
The back seat was quite full. Mia turned her head to look and laughed dryly, "Did we buy too much?"
"No," Koa replied.
He thought it wasn’t enough; for someone like Aurora, more should be prepared.
They’d even forgotten to buy cosmetics.
But it was all in a rush, so he couldn’t bother with it now.
Two days had already passed, and he definitely had to let Aurora and Aiden Jiang know sooner rather than later.
——
Seven-thirty.
The two arrived at Cloudy Capital.
Cooper Manor.
Koa Jackson carried a lot in both hands, and Mia also carried two gift bags.
Upon entering the hall, the Chancellor ran over, unable to jump into Mia’s arms, circled around her with a long face several times.
Aurora Cooper and Margot were sitting on the sofa watching the evening news.
Upon hearing the commotion, they naturally turned their heads in unison to look over.
Koa called out "Auntie," stepping forward to greet her.
Aurora was very surprised and chuckled, "Why so formal when you’re visiting?"
She was in her early forties, only about ten years older than Koa, and especially since Koa was mature and composed, she always felt a little uneasy chatting with him, and calling her "Auntie" made her even more uneasy.
Koa, however, remained calm, smiling, "It’s appropriate."
Very soon——
Aurora understood the reason behind his "it’s appropriate."
Seeing the two marriage certificates on the coffee table, she was stunned for a long time.
The two of them... got their marriage certificates?
And they even kept it a secret from her, their own mother, and Aiden, their own father!
It must have been because of Koa.
Mia always listened to him, so now after just a few words, she was coaxed into getting the certificate, the deed was done.
Unbelievable!
Aurora could hardly believe it, looking up at Koa, restraining her dissatisfaction and gently saying, "Such a big thing, how could you not discuss it with us, quietly going to get the certificate, treating us like nothing?"
Koa, being reprimanded, did not change his expression and simply explained in a calm voice, "Mia and I love each other, and our relationship has reached this point; it’s only right to get the certificate. Aunt Cooper, you know my grandfather is old, and he has been weighing this thing on his mind, which isn’t good."
"So you coaxed Mia into getting the certificate?"
"I did it of my own free will," Mia interjected.
Aurora gave her a disagreeing look.
Mia pouted, stuck her tongue out, and said nothing more, going to sit next to Koa, showing her stance.
Aurora felt a headache coming, and helplessly, she forced a smile, "You guys sit first, I’ll make a phone call."
Of course, she called Aiden Jiang.
Aiden was at the dinner table, hearing the phone ring, he stepped out, "Hello."
The voice was slightly tinged with tipsiness.
"Have you been drinking?" Aurora paused before speaking.
Aiden replied, "Just a little."
"Can you hear me clearly?" Aurora hesitantly asked.
"Go ahead," he answered.
"Mia and Dr. Jackson got their marriage certificates," Aurora said somewhat gloomily.
"What?" Aiden was taken aback, suddenly sobered up.
Aurora continued, "Mia and Koa got their marriage certificates."
"Mia is so young! Why didn’t you stop her?"
"I didn’t know," Aurora said regretfully, "Mia said she was going to stay at school for a few days, and I believed her. I never thought she went to get a marriage certificate and even spent two nights outside with Koa."
Aiden, knowing what this meant, exhaled deeply, "I got it."
"So what do we do now?" Aurora asked, "Dr. Jackson is sitting in the living room right now."
"What can we do?" Aiden said helplessly, "Now that they have the certificate, she’s already part of the Jackson family. Just..."
Aiden instructed, "Ask him properly, does the old man know, what’s his attitude? What’s he planning to do next? We can’t let Mia suffer any injustice, understand?"
"I understand," Aurora replied with a sigh, stepping back into the room.
On the sofa——
Margot was browsing through the two marriage certificates.
Her gaze fell on the photo, and she couldn’t help but smile, "Really nice."
Mia chuckled, just about to speak when she saw Aurora returning to the hall.
Quickly she perked up, preparing to respond.
Koa, seeing her defensive look, couldn’t help but smile, patting her back gently, comforting, "Relax. Your mom won’t eat you."
"Aren’t I worried you’d be nervous?" Mia glanced at him.
