The True Heiress is the Reserved Fiancé's Exclusive Memory-Chapter 643 -s 659-661
Mia Ginger moved like a little fish trapped in a net, twisting and jumping under the showerhead.
She almost slipped.
Koa Jackson caught her in his arms, and Mia’s arms lazily draped around him, as if they had lost their bones.
Looking down at her, Koa couldn’t help but chuckle softly.
Koa lifted her face, she choked on some water, puffed her cheeks, and coughed, just like a little fish leaping in the water.
Suddenly caught in his palm, she struggled randomly.
"Be good."
Mia’s face showed a strangely beautiful blush.
The redness emanated from her thin, delicate skin, both bizarre and beautiful.
Koa sighed lowly, lifted the blanket, and cautiously placed her inside.
Koa turned to the bedside table to find a nail clipper, laid out a couple of tissues, held Mia’s hand, lowered his head, and focused intently on trimming her nails. He finished one hand, then brushed her hand over his face a couple of times, barely noticing anything.
Contented, Koa decided to trim the nails on her other hand as well.
After finishing with both hands, he looked at Mia sleeping soundly beside him, and suddenly he couldn’t sleep.
Feeling a little bored.
Koa sat on the bed for a moment, then lifted the blanket to get up, walked to the bedside, and sat down again to look at Mia’s feet.
Just in time, her toenails were also long.
With nothing else to do, he grabbed one of Mia’s feet with his large hand and trimmed her toenails.
Mia’s feet were very sensitive too, as soon as he touched them, she started squirming and humming.
Koa tightened his grip, quickly trimming her toenails.
After finishing both sides, he felt a bit uncomfortable.
It seemed like he was seeking torment, acting whimsically in the middle of the night.
He crumpled the tissues into a ball and threw them away, then got up to wash his hands in the bathroom, returned, and hugged Mia to sleep.
——
The next day, morning.
Mia woke up groggily, feeling sore and weak all over.
Her head hurt a little, she raised her hand to rub her eyes, and through her fingers, she saw Koa’s gentle gaze.
Her whole self was lying in his arms.
"Awake?" Seeing her alert, Koa asked softly with a smile.
"Mm," Mia responded softly, gave a yawn, and let her gaze wander down his handsome face. Unexpectedly, she saw scratch marks on his neck, furrowing her brows, "How did you get hurt?"
"Got scratched by a little wildcat last night," Koa said in a light tone.
"Since when did you keep a cat?" Mia was asking when she met his smiling eyes, suddenly waking up.
Upon waking, her body ached even more, she chuckled dryly, "You’re talking about me?"
"Could there be a second cat in the house?" Koa asked softly with laughter, hugging her and curling up under the blanket, whispering in her ear, "Just one has kept me busy. So, how do you feel?"
Mia looked at his eyes, cautiously saying, "I don’t want to."
Koa chuckled lowly, "What are you thinking?"
Did she misunderstand?
In the end, she rose refreshed and suddenly hurried, "Where’s my clothes, I need to get up too." Spent a long time looking at his white shirt, Mia smiled as she reached up to grab one of Koa’s white tank tops.
Turning back to the room, she slipped Koa’s tank top over her thin sweater.
Wearing both snug and loose clothing, it felt truly wonderful.
Especially—
The sun had warmed her back in the morning, wearing it felt very comforting to her heart.
Mia turned around the room for a while, thought for a long time, realizing there were probably no pants of Koa’s that she could wear, so she didn’t bother searching, she simply went out.
After all, Koa’s sweater was very long, reaching nearly to her knees when worn.
Heading out, Mia wandered to the kitchen.
The smell of fried eggs wafted from the kitchen, she took a deep breath, leaned on the doorframe, and squinted her eyes to observe Koa.
Koa was also wearing a thin sweater, smoke gray, thinner than the one she wore, paired with long pants below, standing straight and proud, his majestic side profile looking handsome and impressive no matter how viewed.
Mia squinted her eyes and called, "Dr. Jackson?"
Why was she using this title again?
Koa glanced at her sideways, twisted his brows, watching her while she moved closer, saying, "I’ll go out with you."
"Suit yourself."
