The Tyrant Is A Little Bit Kind-Chapter 80: Orlax Tirshtain 1
Chapter 80: Orlax Tirshtain 1
(Third Person POV)
Year 2032, September 7th, according to the global calendar.
In the Western Empire, the Tirmag Empire.
During these past two weeks, many events have taken place within this empire.
Among them, all the other princes renounced their rights, making the first princess, Diana Tirmag, the official Empress.
And today is the day of her coronation.
All across the empire, the air was filled with joy and celebration.
After ten years of torment due to war, they could finally breathe again.
And due to the sanctions imposed by the court for the civil war,
the empire had been completely isolated from the outside world,
with no one knowing what was happening inside.
But now, with the war ended, the sanctions were lifted, and the empire was rejoining the world once again.
In the imperial capital, chaos and noise filled the streets as people from all over came to witness the coronation.
There were even people from other empires present, hoping to build relations with the new Empress.
Inside the palace, the atmosphere was hectic, with people rushing from one place to another.
"You look absolutely beautiful, Your Majesty."
"Yes, this outfit suits you perfectly."
In the Empress’s room, two maids were helping Diana prepare while complimenting her beauty.
In the mirror, Diana’s reflection showed her blue hair and silver eyes.
She wore a dark navy long dress that revealed nothing, yet highlighted her graceful curves.
Around her neck, a golden necklace adorned with several diamond gems.
And on her head, a brilliant golden crown that radiated such majesty it left viewers in awe.
"Thank you both. Can you leave me alone for a moment?"
Diana averted her gaze from the mirror and smiled gently at the maids who had helped her.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
"Of course."
Both bowed lightly and left the room, closing the door behind them.
"I’ve dreamed of this day for over ten years, and now it’s finally coming true... it feels unreal."
Diana walked with steady steps toward the window and looked down at the crowd gathered before the palace.
"Enjoy it while it lasts... you’ll drown in work once this coronation is over."
On the couch in the room, two figures sat quietly.
One had white hair and wore a white dress.
The other had red hair, wearing dark blue pants, a beige shirt, and a fur coat.
"Don’t say things like that, Riana. Let her crash later. More importantly, where is Lax? I haven’t seen him yet."
"I don’t know. That black-haired woman and I came together, and he said he’d come later... but he hasn’t shown up."
Riana shrugged her shoulders cluelessly, making Alice hold her head in frustration.
"Where could he have gone at such a critical moment? Why didn’t he even tell us?"
Clap! Clap!
"Alright, alright... Orlax must be busy with something important and couldn’t make it. I have to go now—I can’t keep them waiting any longer."
Diana clapped her hands to get Alice and Riana’s attention, who had been lost in conversation.
"Yes, yes, good luck."
"Best of luck."
Riana waved casually while Alice gave her a warm smile.
Diana took a deep breath and turned her gaze toward the balcony, where all eyes were fixed.
She walked slowly and steadily toward it until the sunlight hit her eyes and revealed the scene below.
"Whoa..."
A roar of excitement erupted as soon as the crowd saw Diana appear, greeting her in loud unison.
"Hail the Empress!"
"Hail the Empress!"
Diana stared in awe at the millions of people gathered, all greeting her at once.
’This is amazing... I think I might get arrogant if this keeps up.’
She raised her hand, and the crowd gradually quieted down until silence reigned.
"O people of this great empire, I am Diana Tirmag. Today, I become your Empress and ruler. I sincerely hope to fulfill the responsibility that lies on my shoulders. But I promise you one thing—I will not let the people of this empire suffer as they did during the last ten years. Thank you all for attending. Let the celebrations begin!"
She raised her hand after finishing her speech, prompting the crowd to cheer once more as celebrations swept through the capital.
A few miles away from the imperial palace...
A man with black hair sat atop a tall building, gazing toward the palace with a faint smile.
However, his clothes were soaked in blood, enough to terrify anyone who looked at him.
Behind him... lay a scene gruesome enough to make even the strongest vomit.
Dozens of corpses sprawled across the ground, their bodies disfigured—some even missing heads.
The air reeked of blood, but the black-haired boy ignored it completely, as if it didn’t exist.
"Good... Diana followed my plan without resistance. That saved me a lot of time."
[Cleaning Magic]
Orlax cast the spell on himself, and the blood vanished from his body.
"Help me, please... I’m going to fall. I’m begging you..."
Orlax looked toward the edge of the building where a man was hanging, suspended only by a stone spike that pierced his hand.
"Be quiet for a moment... I’m enjoying this."
"Please! I swear I’m innocent! I never did anything wrong! Why are you doing this? Why did you kill my entire family?!"
The man cried and screamed as he stared at the corpses of his wife and children behind Orlax.
"You’re right. You’re all innocent."
Hope flickered in the man’s eyes as he looked at Orlax, thinking salvation had come.
"Then why—?"
"But you might do something harmful to me in the future. So, I’ll deal with you now."
Orlax raised his hand and removed the spike holding the man, causing him to fall with no support.
"WAAAHHH! Damn you, you devil! One day you’ll pay for this! For all of it!"
Booooom!
Orlax ignored the man’s screams—he was already dead anyway—and left only after confirming that everyone, including the man who fell, was dead.
He summoned his fiery wings and flew away from the Tirmag Empire, heading swiftly toward the Tirshtain Empire.
After hours of continuous flying, Orlax finally arrived at his private palace and went straight to his room.
He grabbed a set of clean clothes and went to the bath.
He sat in the tub, fully nude, revealing a body covered in scars.
While sitting, he looked at the hands that had taken so many lives just hours earlier.
"I... killed an entire family with these hands. What am I doing? Am I on the right path? I don’t know... only the future can answer that."
He scrubbed his hands hard under the water, trying to wash off the blood—but it was useless.
"It won’t go away. This blood won’t come off."
Even though his hands were already clean, he still saw the blood he had spilled.
"This is disgusting... Am I supposed to live carrying this guilt? How can I even sleep after today?"
Whoosh!
Orlax took a deep breath and dunked his head underwater.
He felt the pressure change in his ears and the calmness of the water helped settle him.
"It’s fine. I’m okay. I don’t need to worry about it. I did this for the future. There’s no reason to feel guilty."
He lifted his head from the water, got up from the tub, and dressed.
He lay on the bed slowly, staring at the ceiling with tired eyes.
"Since I came to this world, I’ve done so many vile things. I’ve deceived many... committed horrible acts... yet I pretend to be a good person on the outside. I wonder... what changed me? Was it the memories of the original Orlax? Or was I always like this?"
A faint smile appeared on his face before he returned to his emotionless self.
"I’ve laughed so much... cried a few times... and been angry at others... but through it all, I never felt anything inside. As if I were watching a play from far away—one I had no part in. I wonder... what do you call that?"
He placed his hand on his heart and felt the steady rhythm of its beat.
"Alice... Riana... Elena... Sera... Catherine... Lira... Armanthor... Tiran... Alex... and... Diana Tirmag ,They all see Orlax Tirshtain as a kind, peaceful person."
He placed a hand over his eyes and sighed softly.
"But I wonder... how will they react when they learn about the real Orlax Tirshtain? Not the good man who always forgives—but the one who changed their lives without them even realizing."
He got up from the bed and walked to the balcony to get some air.
"I’ve already gone this far, I can’t back down anymore."
Orlax looked out at the city, still lively even though it was well past midnight.
He brushed his hair back and closed his eyes as he listened to the city’s noise.
"Even though the methods weren’t ideal... they achieved the results I wanted. And that’s all that matters,In the end... results are what truly count."
