The Undead system-Chapter 41: slave (3)
Chapter 41: slave (3)
Entering the mating hall, everything seemed to be going fine until karma decided to toy with jack. Side glancing, a frown formed on jack's face staring at the goblin.
It was all filthy and sweaty, emitting out a foul stench. Some dried up liquids of thick white fluid, and other stuff plastered to it's body.
Clenching his fist tightly, jack fought the urge to not kill the creature. As it'll only ruin the plan, which would then backfire on him.
"He's mine." Yuma coldly said, yanking his arm from jack standing in between. She was already ascending the steps, with jack behind. Before she realized he was no longer behind her.

"And who the fuck are you!?" The male goblin snarled in anger, his pride insulted.
"Wait.." it's eyes widened in surprise realizing something. "You're Yuma! Hahaha, yes. Filthy casted Yuma, rejected by all, even the goblin king himself." He spoke with a mocking grin.
'Was she an important figure?' Jack wondered, hearing the male goblin. It looked like she was some sort of important figure, before she was turned into a casted.
[She was probably one of the goblin's king pets.] The system indifferently said, making Jack's eye widen at it's perverted words.
"W-what did you say?" Yuma's eyes twitched slightly, as her blood boiled. She hated the idea how everyone referred to her as a casted, even a low life.
'Bam!' Without warning she punched forward, her fist colliding with the goblin's face. Sending him tumbling backwards crashing down back to a sofa like chair, where some goblins were mating.
'She knocked him out with a punch. impressive.'
Yuma didn't posses a high aura, well none he could sense. So he deemed her weak like the rest. But now, he could tell she possessed some hidden strength, completely knocking that goblin out with just a punch.
"Let's go." Jack broke the silence earning a nod from Yuma. Groans and moans still enveloped the room, as the goblins present still mated. Seemingly unaffected by the commotion.
Heading up the stairs, they made their way to the second floor. Going to the last room in the long corridor. Unlocking it with a special key, the duo entered with Yuma locking it shut.
"We should be safe here for today until we can come up with a plan to kill the king."
"What plan?" Jack frowned staring out the window, down to the crowd of people. "You were just meant to get me undetected to the village."
"You've served your purpose. I have no use for you anymore." Jack plainly said in a poker tone. He'd already seen the layout of the village, so he was confident he could navigate his way across to the goblin king location. With the help of his system.
"Y-you can't possibly be serious. There are guards everywhere, not to mention several more hidden traps!" She exclaimed in attempt to dissuade him, listing out all the flaws in his plan. That sounded more like a suicide attempt than a plan.
"I can handle, remember you're still my enemy. Leave now before I change my mind." The air in the room changed, becoming more heavier.
'T-this aura, it's nothing like I've ever seen.' She thought struggling to breathe properly. The air suddenly became a bit denser like a switch, with an omnious aura excluding from Jack.
Turning, her steps faltered making her way to the door. Her mind thinking about a memory she recalled.
"No." She uttered stopping in her tracks.
"No? Are you really that prepared to die." A crazed grin tugged at the corner of jack's lip. He was surprised to see her still standing, after releasing his aura on full display. As for how he had an aura now well, it was when he'd levelled up to 10, and unlocked the dominion stat.
It was his aura, displaying how high it's stat was. but the system termed it with dominion points. And according to his system, his aura was the highest so far amongst the foes he'd come in contact with.
"I don't care." Yuma boldly said with a determined expression.
"You might be strong, but you won't get far with all brauns and no brains. The goblin king is not here now, and am not aware of his location."
'Bam!'
"What do you mean not here!?" Jack frowned, slamming both his hand still cuffed to a table severing it.
"He left four days ago, to settle some business which am unaware of. But he should be back by tomorrow."
Sighing, jack sat on the bed a bit from the window. He couldn't afford to leave empty handed, so there was no other choice he had than to wait here. till the goblin king returned.
He could kill some goblins and cause chaos, which would make him level up a couple of times. But that wasn't his main reason for coming here.
He had his eyes on the goblin king, excited what rewards he'd get from the system.
[Stronger foes gives better rewards.. unless you aren't killed that is.] The system butted in.
"Fine, I'll wait. But don't be mistaken I trust you. You're still my enemy as long as you're a part of their kind." Nodding, Yuma's expression then turned bright.
Relief washing over her face feeling the terrifying aura subside a bit. Taking a seat some few meters from jack, the duo remained silent. making the already awkward atmosphere more tense.
"What's your relationship with the goblin king?" Jack asked breaking the silence. He could see her face contort a bit, her fist clenched tightly.
"I was once chosen by the king to be one of his concubines. At first I was extremely happy, I mean who wouldn't?" A light scoff escaped her lip. "But little did I know I would be easily discarded like a dog."
"So you wish to get revenge." Jack read her mind, quite obvious what she was thinking.
"Yes, I want to make him pay and suffer for all he did to me." Seeing how determined she was reminded jack of himself, when much younger. He was a hardworking young man, hustling his way on the streets of Agathe since he was a child.
Life was unfair and cruel, but he learned to adapt to it and survive. Even as an undead he still strived to survive in a new world, amongst all the unforeseen circumstances.
"Good, we strike tomorrow." Jack said to which she nodded. The clouds were getting darker, indicating it was reaching nighttime soon.
"Now fill me in on the goblin king. His weaknesses, his strength, every bit of vital information you have on him."
