The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1582: Don’t Tell Nathalie Quinlan I Told You
Hendrik Zachmann still hadn’t figured out why Ellen Quarles came, or how Audrick Zachmann’s matter got tied up with the Quarles Family, or what Ellen asking their family to persuade Nathalie Quinlan was all about... So when Caryn Zachmann told him she wasn’t feeling well and wanted to rest upstairs first, he didn’t ask much, just let her go up.
Caryn glanced around the living room, pressed her lips tightly, her gaze fierce as she turned and went upstairs.
She returned to her room.
After closing the door, she didn’t rest as she had told Hendrik, but instead found her phone charging by the bedside and looked up Audrick Zachmann’s number.
Caryn hesitated for a few seconds, but her ambition surpassed all other thoughts at that moment, and she clenched her teeth as she dialed Audrick Zachmann’s number.

Hospital.
Audrick Zachmann had been lying in the hospital bed for ten days, and finally managed to sit up with the nurse’s help. The nurse helped elevate his bed, then handed him the TV remote control with a smile, saying, "Mr. Zachmann, before Mr. Avalon comes to change your dressing, watch some TV."
On the second day of Audrick’s hospitalization, Mr. Avalon hurried over from Lin City, and all of Audrick’s subsequent rehabilitation was taken over by this respected elder.
Mr. Avalon was highly esteemed in the medical community. When he decided to personally treat patients, the hospital staff went wild, excited beyond measure.
Recently, Audrick’s hospital room became the most popular punch-in spot for doctors and nurses, all eager for the honor of meeting a top figure in their field at master level.
This was purely driven by a reverence and pursuit of academia, different from chasing stars.
Audrick was used to being pursued by fans. This time, being ogled like a gorilla in a zoo’s experiment, he was quite composed.
He ate and drank and had few thoughts every day.
The nurse just pushed the car out.
As he boredly picked up the remote intending to find a TV drama to watch, his phone rang.
Audrick grabbed the phone from the bedside and looked down.
Seeing Caryn’s name displayed on the caller ID.
Without thinking much, his injured hand made it inconvenient to pick up, so he activated the speaker and casually replied, "Hey." 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Did you know Nathalie kidnapped Evelyn Quarles because of you?" As soon as the call connected, Caryn’s voice coldly traveled from the other end.
Audrick’s face changed color, and the good complexion he’d managed to cultivate over ten days instantly lost its color. Struggling to sit up, he pulled on his injured area, painfully dropping back, yet his voice rang urgent: "What are you saying, what does that mean?"
Caryn explained in a very indifferent tone: "Nathalie kidnapped Evelyn because of you. The Quarles Family came to talk to Dad and said they want to take legal action. Audrick, do you know how many years a kidnapping charge can get you?"
Audrick was rendered speechless by the question, his pupils vibrating intensely.
He never imagined Nathalie would go pick a fight with the Quarles Family to stick up for him.
Caryn’s voice came through again, laden with irritation, though she tried to sound calm, it was filled with resentment: "...I suggest you contact Nathalie soon, tell her to release the person. Don’t blow this matter up; if it escalates and the Quarles Family really proceed legally, the only one who ends up unlucky is herself!"
"Neither I nor our parents can persuade her; she won’t listen to us. There’s only you in this family she pays heed to."
After finishing, Caryn lowered her voice to emphasize one more point: "Remember, don’t say I’m the one who told you. I don’t want to provoke that madwoman."
