The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1584: Settling the Score with Caryn Zachmann
Audrick Zachmann, through the phone, seemed to see the ruthless spirit in the girl’s eyebrows and knew that Caryn had upset her again.
He immediately cowered and said vaguely, "Nathalie, don’t worry about what she says. I’m not calling you because of what she said. Don’t provoke the Quarles Family for my sake; they’re not to be messed with. That Ellen Quarles is tough in her actions, and you’ll suffer if you get involved with her. Also, if Evelyn Quarles is with you, let your friend release her. If it comes to legal proceedings..."
Nathalie Quinlan chuckled, her eyes relaxed and indifferent, "And what if it comes to legal proceedings?"
"If it comes to legal proceedings, you..." Audrick didn’t know what to say.
Nathalie helped him out, "Did Caryn also tell you that Ellen Quarles is preparing to take legal measures against me? Did she tell you how many years they’re planning to sentence me to? Ten years? Twenty years? Or are they planning on life imprisonment for me..."
"She didn’t say that."
Audrick shook his head, then realized he was being foolish again. He was on a phone call, and Nathalie wasn’t at the hospital to see his expressions or actions. He anxiously added, "She just said the Quarles Family is preparing to take legal action against you, and I’m worried you’ll suffer."
Nathalie roughly figured out what Caryn had told him and responded lazily, "Brother, you don’t need to worry. I’ll handle this matter well."
"Nathalie, you..." Audrick was still worried about her.
But Nathalie interrupted him, quite spiritedly, "I’ve never paid attention to the Quarles Family! If they want to proceed with legal measures, I welcome them anytime. It’s just a question of whether it’s me or someone from their family who ends up in there for ten or twenty years after it’s all done."
Audrick was completely outmatched by her; he couldn’t overpower her aura.
Nathalie reassured him a few more times, promising not to act impulsively and to inform him in advance if anything happened in the future.
Only then did Audrick reluctantly hang up the phone.
Nathalie, extremely patient, waited for him to hang up before putting down her phone. Her delicate eyes drooped as she stared at the phone for a moment.
She opened the editor on her laptop in front of her and started typing rapidly on the keyboard...
Ten minutes later.
Nathalie transferred an audio file to her phone, then got up to wash up in the bathroom. She washed her face.
After changing her clothes, she picked up her things, slung them over her shoulder, and went downstairs.
Downstairs, Alfred Garland was talking to a young man on the sofa, the man holding a newspaper, seemingly leisurely reading it.
Out of the corner of his eye, when he saw the girl coming down, Amadeus Yancey put down the newspaper and looked up, his eyes gentle, "Awake?"
"Hmm." Nathalie came down the stairs, responded, and said to him, "I’m going out for a bit."
Amadeus Yancey raised his eyebrows, got up, picked up the car keys, walked to her side, and asked quite naturally, "Where to? I’ll take you."
Nathalie originally wanted to say ’no need.’
Seeing that he already had the car keys in hand, she moved her mouth and found it hard to refuse, so she said, "The Zachmann Family."
Alfred Garland, hearing ’The Zachmann Family,’ instinctively looked at her with a puzzled expression, seemingly at a loss, not knowing why Nathalie was going to the Zachmann Family at that time.
Amadeus Yancey, however, didn’t even lift an eyelid nor ask the girl’s reason and just said ahead, "Let’s go."
Nathalie, on the other hand, felt slightly irritable, touched her nose bridge, and stepped forward to follow the man’s upright back.

The Zachmann Family.
Leonardy Zachmann had just sent Ellen Quarles away and returned home.
The atmosphere inside was quite solemn, each person seeming preoccupied, no one speaking. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Leonardy Zachmann himself didn’t know what to say and instructed the servant to brew him a cup of tea, "Mrs. Denio, make me a cup of buckwheat tea."
