The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1586: Nathalie: You’re Not Fit to Be a Mother
She turned her head abruptly to Nathalie Quinlan, too lazy to put on a show of politeness now, directly challenging the girl: "Did you arrange for the bodyguards under Audrick Zachmann’s hospital?"
Leonardy Zachmann instructed the servant to make tea for Nathalie Quinlan, which was just being brought over.
Nathalie didn’t drink the Zachmann Family’s tea. While waiting for Caryn Zachmann to come downstairs, she kept her duckbill cap pressed low, her head bent down as she played on her phone.
Leonardy Zachmann watched her fingers as she edited a message, seemingly replying to someone.
Upon hearing Celine Tucker’s words, the girl who had been looking down at her phone now raised her head, put the phone down, her eyes cold and irritably glancing at her, without a hint of hesitation: "Yeah, it’s me."
Celine Tucker was infuriated by her attitude, her face flushed red: "You, how dare you...?"
Before she could finish her sentence, Hendrik Zachmann led Caryn Zachmann downstairs.
Nathalie glanced at the people coming down from the second floor and chuckled, her smile was somewhat mocking, then she slowly replied to the furious Celine Tucker with three words: "You’re not worthy."
Celine Tucker: "..."
Initially, she didn’t grasp Nathalie Quinlan’s meaning, but she wasn’t a fool. After thinking about the girl’s words, she understood.
...Nathalie Quinlan was implying she wasn’t worthy of being a mom!
Her well-maintained face immediately turned the color of liver, her fingernails nearly causing cuts, and she stood up furiously, ready to argue with Nathalie Quinlan.
"Alright, alright." Leonardy Zachmann quickly pulled her back, playing the role of the peacemaker, not allowing her to clash with Nathalie Quinlan.
Celine Tucker knew his stance was clearly protecting Nathalie Quinlan.
Feeling even more angry, nearly fainting with black spots clouding her vision.
She just didn’t get it, Nathalie Quinlan was merely an outsider, why was every man in the family siding with her?
Who among them is truly part of the family!
That’s why she didn’t even want to visit Audrick in the hospital this time, none of them gave her peace of mind.
Caryn Zachmann saw this scene, descended from upstairs, acting as if she hadn’t noticed the extra person in the family, directly walked towards Leonardy and Celine Tucker, and called out: "Dad, Mom. Did you call me for something?"
Celine Tucker was too lazy to talk.
Leonardy Zachmann awkwardly said: "It’s not us, it’s Nathalie. She came over to see you, it seems she has something to discuss."
Caryn Zachmann seemed as if she just noticed Nathalie Quinlan, lightly glanced in the girl’s direction, and acted extremely aloof: "What do you want from me?"
Nathalie felt quite impressed with her acting skills, lifted her eyelids, all around her was a low pressure: "Did you call Audrick Zachmann?"
Caryn Zachmann suddenly turned to look at her, tightened her lips, and kept quiet.
Beside her, Hendrik Zachmann asked her in confusion: "Did you call Audrick Zachmann? When?"
"Could it be..." He already realized when Caryn had made that call, becoming quite unsettled.
Caryn Zachmann however, interrupted him irritably: "Brother, do you trust her or do you trust me?"
Hendrik Zachmann remained silent for a moment and did not immediately answer her.
Caryn Zachmann felt even more annoyed, pursed her lips, and said with extreme coldness again: "I didn’t make a call."
After speaking, she still felt it wasn’t enough, so she turned her head, face to face, looking at the girl with fierce eyes, emphasizing again: "If you came here to question me, then let me tell you, I didn’t make a call. You can call Audrick directly if you don’t believe me, and put it on speaker so everyone can hear what he says."
She wasn’t afraid of Nathalie Quinlan confronting Audrick Zachmann on the spot for confirmation; Audrick, who was tough on the outside but soft on the inside, had promised her he wouldn’t betray her. Knowing Nathalie Quinlan came to hold her accountable, would only end up shouldering the blame herself.
