The Unveiling of Secret Queen-Chapter 1725: Nathalie Quinlan’s Audacity Is Practically Sky-High
Yuni Davidson had been lost in thought, but when she heard him mutter a name beside her, she too looked at the screen.
She was equally stunned.
"Table 33, Nathalie Quinlan?"
Not Zevaney Kingsley?
Yuni Davidson was bewildered.
Others were just as confused as she was.
"Not Zevaney Kingsley?"
"Who is Nathalie Quinlan at Table 33?"
"Nathalie Quinlan, why do I feel like I’ve heard this name somewhere before?"
"Quinlan? Is there such a surname in Inderia?"
For a moment, the entire banquet hall was abuzz with chatter, everyone bewildered by the unexpected results and asking around.
At Table Two.
Zevaney Kingsley was equally stunned, looking at the results on the screen in disbelief.
It was clearly written up there — [Table 33, Nathalie Quinlan.]
Not her name.
Zevaney Kingsley never imagined it would turn out like this, feeling somewhat at a loss.
She was still processing the results.
A light shone on an inconspicuous round table in the corner of the banquet, and Zevaney instinctively followed that beam of light to look at the person sitting there.
A girl.
An excessively young girl.
The girl dressed in black, wore a duckbill cap that obscured her face. At first glance, one would notice her pale skin and then the restrained yet flamboyant aura surrounding her.
Very eye-catching.
Full of personal style.
Zevaney faltered, then watched as the girl seemed to be slightly annoyed by the light hitting her eyes, irritably tugging on the duckbill cap and pressing the brim down before leaning back casually, exuding an aura that was calm and unruffled, not flustered by the sudden attention she was receiving, seemingly unfazed by winning the game.
Zevaney realized this and inexplicably felt uncomfortable.
However, she was well-mannered, and she immediately started clapping. "Congratulations to this Ms. Quinlan, so young and accomplished, very impressive."
She could afford to lose gracefully.
The others had no choice but to stop gawking and slowly began to clap as well.
Nathalie Quinlan glanced at the person leading the applause for her, then looked away, idly fiddling with her phone.
Finally.
"Ms. Quinlan, congratulations on winning the competition. According to the rules, you can make any request to the Kingsleys Family. Have you decided?"
It was still that voice, exuding authority while remaining cold.
You could feel the pressure even from a distance.
Tremendous pressure.
Nathalie Quinlan glanced in the direction of the main table but couldn’t see clearly who was speaking.
She then withdrew her gaze, placed the phone on the table, and concisely stated, "I want the Kingsleys Family genealogy."
Silence in the enclave!
It was as if you could hear a pin drop.
Their faces all changed, including Zevaney Kingsley, who looked astonished.
Jaycent Kingsley also felt his temples throb violently and stood up. "Dad."
"Sit down." A middle-aged man, about forty, squinted slightly, glanced at him, and his calm voice was enough to make him sit back down.
Jaycent Kingsley reluctantly sat down, his heart still pounding, looking towards Lynn Kingsley, he softly pleaded on behalf of Nathalie Quinlan. "Dad, that person is my friend, you..."
He couldn’t understand why Nathalie Quinlan would make such a request.
To bring up the family genealogy before the public!
Such audacity!
Her request was akin to walking into someone’s stronghold and demanding their roster.
Jaycent Kingsley’s eyelids twitched nervously, unsure of how to help Nathalie Quinlan out of this.
Yuni Davidson was also taken aback by the situation and took a while to recover, only to see her son looking distressed as he spoke up for the girl named Nathalie Quinlan. She reluctantly snapped out of it, "...Ahem, maybe she’s just curious."
